You see, the Widow was pulling some big brain moves by getting the enemies to kill them so that way everybody else can win the fight.
Only...that's a Tank's job, not a Sniper's job... I thought the whole idea behind a sniper was to NOT be in the middle of the storm but to lob rounds from the sidelines and be mobile. If that's what the DS DPS player was going for, he may as well have been playing Rein. lol
''the widow kinda mean'' was an understatement. Even though I personally think it never helps to egg on negative players, Catcher was kind of a vibe.

couldn't be truer, but the opposite of what you are thinking. the higher rank you go the sweatier the matches, and what happens when one puts so much effort into the match only to see a teammate make a mistake.

How do I miss all the toxicity when I queue games? I just goof around as Bastion and I end up making friends
DPS player when they need to throw their ego out (they can't live without it). I noticed that too as a tank players. They never really reflect on their mistake and do the same thing over and over.

In no way am I trying to defend his insults, but what do you expect if the ana keeps talking none-sense in the voice chat and flaming the dps. Use the party chat if you want to talk or shut up. I would bet the widow wouldn't have insulted any of you if the ana just kept quiet and didn't flame the dps.

Imagine we are in the same lobby and I would say "Finally our Ana changed, she got diffed so hard" "Can you stop missing your heals" or casually making jokes about you the whole game (what Catcher and you do in the video).
I never said his insults are fine but I kinda understand where they are comming from + we all had games where we got attacked and said smth stupid.
If at least your description said smth like "Toxic Kiriko and dps" I would have been fine with it.
Also until 1:40 the widow didnt even say 1 word but Catcher still flamed him.

I've been hearing years of toxicity since the original Overwatch and something about this Wyatt guy really annoys me. Dude talks about accountability, yet didn't understand widow was not the play, so of course it's the supports fault he is dying. He is the epitome of what has ruined this once wonderful game.

In OW, being a Widow main apparently is like being a Reyna main in Valorant. There are SO MANY toxic jerks who play Widow/ Reyna, it's RARE to find a player who mains one of those that is not toxic af. Off the top of my head I can think of ONE Reyna player who is not actually a toxic POS. For Widow, that's a tough call.

Since you know how the character works and what she is good at, why do you think toxic personalities would be drawn to that play style more than to the other characters? Any ideas? @jamescurfman3284 The best way I can answer being a 5+ year female widow main. A lot of other widow mains have this ego that they are really good when they are not cause. Trust me, I know, I've dealt with other widow mains who are genuinely garbage when im playing symmetra or healer (cause im a sym/sojourn main and mercy/ana main as well) and when they start getting their a$$ whooped they take out their frustration on other players (mostly support players, which is sad) cause they can't fathom the fact that widow is not the character for them, and maybe they should switch to soldier 76 or somebody else. With me, I acknowledge when I'm bad with widow sometimes, and I'll switch to sojourn or symmetra, so I'm not a burden. If that makes sense

I had a simpler reason thought up, especially for the really low-IQ trolls who play Widow...they just like the view from behind. They go in Third Person mode as much as possible and they get mad when people spoil their 'special alone time' with the character... It would even explain why they are toxic to their own team mates. But that's just me trying to think like a troll. I could be wrong. lol
@jamescurfman3284 true I find a lot of widow mains who can't do their job right. When I play widow I'll stay in the back line sniping people (mostly the enemy tank) to get my team towards the point and if I see my team in need of some help I'll zipline towards my team and use widow's rifle part of her gun to help kill off enemy players. If I see one of my healers getting harassed by a sombra or tracer I'll go in front of them and kill off the tracer and sombra. A lot of toxic widows can't do that for some reason but bash others when they get whooped
