    As ever, really fantastic video and photographs. Would be great to see a video of how you go about the process of actually editing your images and selecting/applying your own named pre-set templates to end up with such stunning photographs. Also, that would be a great way to promote your pre-sets, deservedly so.

    Hi Curtis It's nice to see you shooting wide open. I love to shoot at the max aperture when out with the Viltrox 75mm f1.2 but was recently questioned as to why I was shooting wide open on the streets because apparently Street photography should be shot at f5.6 or F8 🤔 the guy then went on to say when shooting wide open you can't see the 'Street' 🤦🤣 I'm off to Manchester on Saturday that's how I stumbled across this 3 year old vlog. I have watched a lot more recent stuff from yourself and have been a subscriber for years. I've also featured on the #cpphotos previously

    I live right in the centre, right by that tuktuk you found in Spinningfields and I guess I should give photography a go as you make the City look awesome. How's the weight of the 24-70 walking around for the day. I'm looking for my first lens on my A7iv. Would you say a 35mm, 50mm or 85mm the best to start off on?

    Wish I’d have known you were coming to Manchester, I would have come and said hi, I’m in Manchester 2/3 times a week. You seem to be taking quite a few similar shots to me, especially that Car Park roof.
    Loved the night shots from the roof, not got any lately as not driving at present and with it not going dark until late it’s a bit of a nightmare getting home as I live 20 miles from Manchester though born and bred in Manchester. Cheers for the shout out too, got a near perfect day at Media City, maybe a tad too bright a day though.

    How come you usually use ISO 200 or 320? I'm just learning. Do you ever use 100? I gather you shoot manual and just increase the shutter speed mainly to get the exposure to 0?

  • @peterwideman1425
    @peterwideman1425 Před 3 lety +4

    Can I ask what mode you use? Are you always in manual? Just because I see your settings are so different on nearly every shot. Trying to learn and would love to go out and do some street/city photography. Thanks.

  • @blackravenphotography7885

    Hey. Is there any chance you could tell me which tram stop/ location you are at, at 11.20 in the video. Heading to Manchester in February and would love to shoot at this spot. Thankyou

  • @paulm8157
    @paulm8157 Před 3 lety

    Solid post, Curtis! Travel to other UK venues would be a plus, but my sense is that you can get higher quality compositions be sticking to one city for a while before moving about. Colonnade and masked tram passenger my fav in this series. Trams work best, IMO when showing motion blur of trams themselves - or from low perspective track view, just before tram impacts photographer😁. Those parking decks looked empty enough to be a potential security risk.
    Suggest separate day/night POVs. How come you don’t display histogram in LCD? Cheers!
