Emily Haines & The Soft Skeleton make their Massey Hall debut, celebrating the release of her critically acclaimed solo album, Choir of the Mind - almost ten years after her previous solo work was released. This concert captured as part of a North American tour, supported by a backing band drawn from members of both Metric and Broken Social Scene, was full of dramatic ambiance and included songs that span over a decade. Each deal with love, loss and the constant “choir” that confronts our daily lives.

Our Hell might be one of her most well conceived thought to page songs and I have a deep love for her work.
Loved this show, was lucky enough to have been in the very front row.
Emily Haines wrote some masterpieces there ... I have nooooooo words for Doctor Blind ... I literally get goose flesh every time I hear it ... it's THE most beautiful song I've EVER heard ... doctor blind is SO beautiful, so sad, mysterious , all at the same time .. the greatest masterpiece ever written in music ... the musical harmonies in that song are SOOO damn beautiful !!! .. and yeah Fatal Gift .. pfff .. god .. what can I say ? I need to hold my tears here !! such a beautiful angelic song ..

Massey Hall just sounds so good. I was so excited to hear how EH&SK sounded in there and I was not disappointed. Amazing show.

Choir of the Mind was such an amazing record I hopped on a flight and saw this show front row in Philly. it was one of the most special concerts I've seen. Emily writes some amazing songs and the whole presentation of the show top notch

So amazing! I feel she corrected Minefield Of Memory which was too repetitive on the album, that live version is beyond perfect

They cut off many performances in this video! Crowd surf off a cliff,the maid needs a maid, mostly waving, reading in bed, winning!!!!!!!!!!!!!! sprig, choir, statuette, strangle all romance, wounded! But I enjoyed this soooo much! AMAZING capturing quality both technically and artistically (from filming point of view and execution of the performance itself).

I would pay to get the full concert. it was an incredible experience and I would like to relive the best parts. You know, the ones you cut out...
I fully second the request to upload or release the full performance, if in any way possible. It's so rare for a smaller artist like Emily to have a full show captured in good quality, and there are so many fans (e.g. outside of North America) who will never get a chance to see the full show, it could be ten years before she does another solo tour, ...
I'd be more than happy to pay for it. If at all possible, please make it happen!

Surely there's a way to get the full show out there somehow ? Someone has the master tape ! I'd love to experience this show but will probably never get the chance here in the UK. Please release the DVD. Love Emily's solo work, a whole level deeper.
