Hi Sean. You missed out on the best town on the Cote D'Azur... Antibes, which was just before Villenueve Loubet and also my old home town and the biggest yachting marina in Europe. It also has a fabulous ramparts area in the old town together with a produce market that has regularly been voted as one of the best markets in the world and the old fort where Napolean Bonaporte was imprisoned for many years.
What a wonderful place and good food...Quaint and full of character.

FYI Villeneuve in the Alpes-de-Haute-Provence is roughly 200 kms away from the place you visited in this video. You were in Cagnes-sur-Mer in the Alpes-Maritimes. The medieval town, where the castle is located, is named Hauts-de-Cagnes because it's on top of Cagnes-sur-Mer. The city nearby is named Villeneuve-Loubet (not "Villeneuve"). Cheers.
