    • @tamiltoenglishvideos1106
      @tamiltoenglishvideos1106 Před 2 lety +6

@@ABCD-ni6ju It truly surprising me how people make unsubstantiated claims so confidently.
Islam in South India came in two major waves. The first wave brought traders from Arabia who mixed with the local populace to form Tamil Muslims and Sri Lankan Moors.
These Muslim groups include the Maraicars, Lebbais etc. These people spoke Tamil, and wrote using the Arabu-Tamil (Arwi) script. They have also produced great works of Medieval Tamil literature like the Seerapuranam and Aayiram Masala.
They are first mentioned in inscriptions in Keelakarai, where the Muslims helped with the construction of a local temple. In exchange, the Chola king offered some of the leftover stones to build the current Keelakarai Palaya Jumma mosque, around 750CE. In 1000CE, Tamil Muslim merchants are mentioned in a Raja Raja Chola Thanjai Perya Kovil inscription. And a bell from the 14/15th Century was found in New Zealand, carrying the name of a Tamil Muslim merchant in Tamil writing (see below).
The second wave was a relatively inconsequential one, as far as Tamil Nadu and Kerala are concerned, and are mainly immigrants from the North who speak Urdu. They make up around 5 - 10% of present day Muslims in South India.
There was only one significant violent Muslim incident, and that was the bloody Madurai Sultanate. But unlike staying back like they did in North India, the Persio-Urdu invaders mostly left after being reconquered. These were _not_ Tamil Muslims.
As for Cholas, Cheras and Pandyas only following Shavism, that is absolutely wrong. Most of them were Jains and Buddhists in the Sangam period, before converting to Shavanism and Vashinavism in the Bhakti period after 6th century CE. Before the Sangam period, they were followers of Tamil Folk Religion (aka Amman and Ayyanar worship).

Let me add, the B brought Tamils from Tamil Nadu esp from Chola land area of Tamil Nadu and made them to tap rubber in horrific rainforest conditions of mosquitoes snakes hornets etc etc and the latex then led to B to the inventing of many of the things you use today esp tyres, mattresses, hoses, a significant part of a car, trucks, planes etc etc, balloons, erases, , and a multitude of other stuff in the industrial plants. The B then left the Tamils who were rubbers tappers in a lurch after independence leading them to become orphans and go a stray and many joined Chinese mafia here to become their robbers and thieves. The B became super wealthy beyond imagination until today because of the thing called rubber. The contribution by Tamils to Britain and Msia has been totally wiped out. There is also a mega story of how the B also invited and hired the intelligent ones from Tamil Nadu and elsewhere in India to help in the administration of the colonial offices and system here such that today Msia thrives as almost advanced country because of the administrative infrastructure that was mostly helmed by South Indian Tamils and Telugu and others and Sri Lankan Tamils. This contribution has also been wiped out. Thank you for above review.

To be honest with you the History of Tamil can't even be done in multiple of series because they're impact as Humanity as whole at least on this planet is way beyond. This is a well done short summary with great contents of Tamil culture(The culture which proved the nature of the existence from the beginning, & still western society believes it has came from so called white scientists). It make me sad to see the world population which living in ignorance without even knowing the power with in each & every one of us(Human being). Spirituality is not about being a super human it's all about realizing being a human is super.
Always remember "you can ignore the truth but you can't ignore the consequence of ignoring the truth". This is a quote from one wise man who got enlightened. All the gurus sages mystics ancestors throughout the history known the truth by self realization(God realization) but obviously in a society which so blindly submerged in to their own self created ignorance those enlightened beings are labeled as crazy.
Yes in fact it make sense that the ignorant people(99% of people in the modern society) live in superiority complex by their self created illusionary EGO & became entirely blind for truth & still living in the delusional MATRIX. Meditation is the key to self realization & therefore Enlightenment.
Still the choice is yours, even hereafter decide for yourself that while breathing in this planet as a human being are you going to be sleep and going to be dragged from your curdle to grave or going to wake up for your true nature & live the life as it meant to be.

Until the 1500 AD the Nadan or Santoor where the rulers of South India. After 1500 AD the sea was mostly taken over by the Portuguese soldiers. Almost 100 years of war on the sea shore and then the Vijayanagar came to South with the help of one of the son's of the Tamil Pandyan Dynasty and then the Vijayanagar took over and the Nadan dynasty came to an end. The Nadan has to escape to Sri Lanka and some to the Western Ghats and many moved to Indonesia and Burma. Many Nadars worked in Burma as Soldiers. The Nadars were attacked by the Namboodiris from Kerala and the Vijayanagar from Tamil Nadu Maduria. Though they were trained in Adimurai and Kalari fights, poverty took over because for 100 years no trade and no money. That was the destruction of Nadan in Tamil Nadu. Then 1800 AD slowly came up and in the 18th Century with the help of Germans and British they took over Tamil Nadu again. Like any Dynasty Nadars had a fall for 120 years.

If you go by the scriptures Murugan Puranam/ Skand Puran clearly says that Sanskrit speaking Brahmin Agastya Muni created Tamil.
Even Tamils oldest grammar book, a first sangam era book called Agattiyam/Akattiyam was created by Sanskrit speaking Brahmin Agattiyar /Agastya Muni.
& another Sangam era book called Tolkappiyam was written by Tolkappiyar. He was one of the 12 disciple of Agastya Muni.

Except the Skanda Puranam was written much much later after the Sangam period (which ended around 300 AD), in the Medieval Bhakti period (starting around 1000 CE) _by Brahmins_ . Obviously they are going to call Agattiyar a Brahmin, much like how they tried to claim that Thiruvalluvar was the son of a Brahmin, in the 16th Century AD.
It also makes outlandish claims such as the existence of a Southern continent (Kumari Kandam) which appears nowhere in Sangam literature. It fails to accurately describe the Sangam period and instead throws around strange myths all over the place. Suffice to say, no-one seriously regards the "Skanda Puranam" as being historically accurate.
Also it is work noting that the Southern character Agathiyar is quite different from the Northern character Agastya. The only commonality is their Jar-born myth. Otherwise, they are fairly different, as far as their descriptions are concerned. Needless to say Dr. Iravatham Mahadevan has explored quite deeply into these matters.
As for Tolkappiyam being being written by Tolkappiyar a disciple of Agastya/Agattiyar, once again, another medieval myth. It is believed that the Tolkappiyam was not written by one author over one period. Rather, it is a sort of an encyclopedia, written by many authors over centuries, with the ur-text dating to around 500 BCE and the last edits around 200 AD. There is no contemporary Sangam text from that period that talks about Tolkappiyar or him being the disciple of Agattiyar (if there is, quote it I would like to see).
The name Tolkappiyar itself appears much later, in a preface to the Tolkappiyam that was added in the Medieval period by a Commentator.
It is quite sad to see myths being peddled as facts, sigh.

Shri Agathiyar (Maharishi Agastya) was pioneer of Tamizh Literature and culture. Which led to him being called as Father of Tamizh Literature. Issue is even his works are not being taught to Tamizhs and the syllabus has a very high western and periyar influence. My family from Mother's side have been educated in Coimbatore, all the way up to my Great Grandparents who were businessmen and hoteliers, hence they used to tell me although the education was top, what was taught was a meagre fragment of Tamizh history which predates the 2000 - 3000 B.C.E as is suggested by westerners. We need a sizeable no. of research teams to study and comprehend Tamizh history from the sources and archaeology .... which is not given enough importance at the moment. While the DMK is hooked on making the discovery of an artefact - "older than North India" - there is equivalent evidence of the age of Bharata through the Saraswati Civilization's remains discovered from Rakhigarhi to haldigati and further excavations have to take place till Surat where the Saraswati merged with the sea. Lot of work needs to be done. There is no doubt by true scholars (East or West) that Bharata Desa was a continuous contiguous civilization than a divided distraught one as portrayed by _Gora_ _Sahibs_ whose *principles* are followed till date by Bharatiyas unfortunately.

Unlike Sanskrit that is dead like Latin…. Wow wow wow. Sanskrit is spoken by thousands of people in India. there are 14 Sanskrit universities in India where teaching is done in Sanskrit. Tamil is not totally unrelated to Sanskrit. Most of the scientific, literary vocabulary in Tamil is derived from Sanskrit. And without the mantras in Sanskrit no Pooja would be complete in any of the main temples that adorn Tamil Nadu. Stope spreading this colonial Christian missionary nonsense please

There are two kinds of Tamils. One is the Tamils of South India and Sri Lanka and the other Tamil is the ancient or Archaic Tamils of the Indus Valley and Sumer in Mesopotamia. They have no connection. Archaic Tamil is more than 4000 years older than the Tamil of South India and Sri Lanka. Nobody has explained why Tamil is presently spoken in South India and Sri Lanka and not in Pakistan and Iraq, the real home of Tamil. Archaic Tamils were non-Aryan and non-Hindus, while majority of present day Tamils of India and Sri Lanka are of Aryan origin and follow the Vedic religion.
The Archaic Tamils created the Indus Valley Civilization and the Sumerian Civilization in Mesopotamia. Many people will object to my idea, but it cannot be helped. The Semitic people of Mesopotamia called the Archaic Tamils the Annunaki, the Nephilim, the sons of god, men of renown and giants in knowledge. They were city builders, architects, mathematicians, and educationists. They started the first schools in the world. They gave the world A,B,C and 1,2,3.
It is possible that after the Aryan invasion, some of the Tamils of the Indus Valley may have fled south, others became slaves and were brought south and absorbed into the Aryan society. Tamil is a non-Aryan language and race. It remains a riddle to this day, as to why Tamils in India and Sri Lanka follow the Vedic or Hindu faith.

Well, these were borrowing from Sanskrit. But Sanskrit and Tamil are from unrelated language families. Sanskrit is from the Indo-European language family. Tamil is from the Dravidian language family. Both have very fundamental differences in their grammar and structure.
For eg. Dravidian languages are agglutinative, you can write complex sentences as one single word. Most Indo-European languages like English and Sanskrit do not have this ability in the least.
Also, borrowing words =/= being related. Chinese borrows words from English. That does not make Chinese related to Indo-European languages. Hindi borrows some Arabic words. That doesn't make Hindi related to Semitic language. Don't mix up linguistic relations with linguistic borrowing.

@@MrRahul6464 For your information, that highly Sanskritised Tamil was mainly limited to some printed works in the late 19th century and early 20th century as this industry was highly dominated by Brahmins at that time. It was seen as more "upper class" to mix in Sanskrit words in Tamil speech (much like how we see Indians mixing English words in native speech today).
Nevertheless, literary works around that period like Nadaraja Pathu and Seerapuranam were still being written in literary Tamil, with minimal Sanskrit influence. Common speech in rural regions were also fairly free of Sanskrit influences. The Pure Tamil movement wanted to make sure this literary Tamil was brought to common urban speech, by reintroducing it in formal non-literary writing.
Also, Periyar had little to do with the Pure Tamil movement. I think you have mixed up the Self-Respect movement with the Pure Tamil movement.

Wrong information about Sri Lanka 🇱🇰 , 99% of foreigners in the world do not know the truth about our country. Do they know anything? Who but the people who lived? But most of the people who are talking and making stories about this war today are not the people who lived in our country at that time. And some are foreign conspirators against our country. Others are non-governmental organizations that work for money.
For example, I will show the song "Menike Mage Hithe". Many Tamils in TamilNadu, India are constantly working against our country. Specially against the Sinhalese People They do so on the basis of the misconceptions that someone else has told them about our country, especially about the Sinhalese. But at least it is very clear that if the song "Menike Mage Hithe" was not popular in India, Sinhala would never have been a beautiful language.
So, many people who do not know anything about our country, the history of the country, the culture of the country say that the war in our country was a civil war and war crimes were committed there. But that is not true.
Sri Lanka Army or our Security Forces never did a genocide and also Our country did not have a civil war. Although the international media, Some local & Foreign Tamil Politicians( To incite racism by targeting the votes of the Tamil people) & NGO against our country call it a civil war, it must be true that the war was between the Sri Lankan security forces and the Tamil Eelam Tiger terrorists. The aim of the Liberation Tigers of Tamil Eelam (LTTE) was to divide our country into two parts and establish a separate state called Tamil Eelam.
It is a terrorist organization that has fabricated a false history, recruited innocent Tamils and turned innocent Tamil children into suicide bombers. More information on the same can be found in the video link below.
