  • Experiencing an epidural headache? I've been there. Let me tell you my story and give you a few pointers based on my experience.
One things is for sure - an epidural headache is not fun. I definitely went natural after that birth. After my experience I recommend Mama Natural's Childbirth Course to everyone. Check it out here: goo.gl/hDNR1r
If you are a new mommy and worried about getting an epidural headache and also don't know about a natural birth, you can reach me in any of my social media profile below and I would be more than glad to help you out and share with you my journey through motherhood.

I had epidural complications too. At first they numbed my chest and abdomen instead of downward. To make it worse, when they had me lay down, I felt like I couldn’t breathe and like I was going to faint, so they gave me ephedrine to reverse the epidural meds. The next one worked for a bit but then it only numbed one side. I ended up with a c-section, where they do a spinal block instead of an epidural. That made me feel even more like I couldn’t breathe. I was on the edge of passing out again, so I wasn’t very with it when my 2nd was born. I had the spinal headache a day or so later too! Awful! I would take labor pain over that any day. The blood patch didn’t work for me though, but they only had me lie still for 10-15 minutes after. Maybe that’s why. Worst headache ever! Glad the blood patch worked for you! And I’m so in awe of you with 8 kids 😃 I feel overwhelmed with 2 sometimes!

I had spinal done and went back 2 days later with horrible headache. I was admitted to hospital and next day got blood patch. It helped the headache but it took over a week for it to go away. And I had the same with my back and shooting pain down my legs. Needless to say they will never touch a needle to my spine ever again. I spent 4 days in hospital could of stayed longer but wanted to go home.

The epidural headache was worse than labor and I think they gave me the epidural too late so I still felt everything lol. Never getting a epidural again.

Yep! I actually have 8 but my oldest is away at school. Makes for a lot of chaos and a lot of fun! Let's just say they keep me busy and out of trouble! LOL! :)
