UFO Oil Painting Walkthrough!

- If you didn't know it already I am a total weirdo. I am super into weird creepy stuff like the paranormal and supernatural and blah blah blah. And I've been wanting to pull that interest into some of my paintings in a few ways.
So here is the walkthrough of this super weird UFO painting I did in oil paints. Maybe some of you people out there are also into Aliens and Bigfoot and ghosts and all that wacky stuff like me! Or you think I'm absolutely off my rocker. Either way, enjoy this video!

An artist I watched on CZcams mixed like a matte and a gloss vanish together 1:1 to fix that issue he had of some parts being shiny and others not. You may be able to save it! I personally LOVE this piece. I can't wait till I've developed my skills to be able to create such magical, spooky... OUT OF THIS WORLD ;) paintings like you xx

I love this spooky alien piece! The way the beam is, it different then anyone else's. Many will do just straight beam with highlight but yours is way better 💚👽

Oh my gosh I blew my own mind when I came up with that idea for applying stars on a painting. It's like completely transformed my night skies.

Another good tutorial and another learning experience for me. I do love your style and you have a pleasant and enjoyable way of explaining things. If you would like another thing to put on your "to do" list, I'd like to see some woodsy landscapes with large trees in full foliage done in oil. I do like this content though, so I'm content with anything you do...just keep doing! ;-D

Very cute, different - how can you not like it? It reminds me of a book illustration 😊. Could you do a coloured galaxy sky? I sometimes use a stylus to dot in stars💕💕
I do really like it! It just looked different once it dried. But once its fully dry I'm going to varnish it and it will look much better.
i only have acrylic paints right now. do you think a painting like this would be manageable with acrylics rather than oils? i love the fished product!!

You can totally do this with acrylics! If you check out the rest of my channel You can see I've got a lot of similar tutorials but with acrylics!

do you use photo reference or just make up your paintings.?
I looked at reference photos for the basic shapes of the trees but the sky, ufo, beam, and lighting I just kind of came up with.
Would it work if I try to paint it with acrylic paint? 🤔

It would be a little different. That blending technique I use is very specific to oil paints, BUT you could totally still make this happen with acrylics!

I like to use a little scraper knife! It's basically a razorblade with a little safety handle that I got from home depot!
