My best friend was the biggest aot fan, but sadly he passed away right before the 2 final parts were released. He never got to the Rumbling in action and the amazing finale. One of my biggest regrets in life, will be not experiencing the finale of the series we watched together for close to 10 years, with him.

For those who wondered what the choral sung in german in the beginning of the first opening is: The choral sings "Sie sind das Essen und wir sind die Jäger" which literally translates to "They are the food and we are the hunters", followed by "Wir sind Jäger" / "We are Hunters" two times. The first line being a rather inelegant choice of words to the ears of a native speaker, as the english translation shows. What they were trying to achieve is, as I think, more like "They are the PREY and we are the hunters", which would be "Sie sind die BEUTE und wir sind die Jäger" in german. There’s something about opening six, my war, that I find a bit haunting… maybe it’s the chorus, how they sound like children, yet they’re singing about war. The bright colors, yet they’re depicting battles. To me, I think that’s what the series is really about. The horrors of war. Violence. Hatred so strong it would cause a child to kill. Eren starting the rumbling. Innocent kids sent off to fight in war. Gabi killing Sasha, Kaya trying to kill Gabi, all in an endless cycle of revenge

I remember I hated the concept of turning into a titan and was like "wtf is this show". I didn’t have any plan of watching the series. I used to just see 1 or 2 clips of the fightings in CZcams. Now I've completed the anime. In my case, this is the greatest story I've ever known. I will miss this show too much. And I will try to recommend this to as many persons as I can

The cannibalism and self harm are disgusting for sure. My least favorite part of the series. But it has one of the strongest stories I've ever seen in an anime.
For my story, i am simply ignoring the anime thinking "its just some popular anime many people love" but one day, my curiosity got the best of me and watched its first episode. Until that moment, i never stopped watching. One of my greatest decisions in my life, now i am rewatching it again (i didn't really got to see a portion of the ending parts, specifically the rumbling since the application i was watching this AoT on has it as premium, rendering me from watching the newer episodes that time.). So now i am not only rewatching it again, but completing it! Already on Season 3, its an amazing experience.

FINale...The power to leave an impact many years after the thing took place, stays with you, influences you, throughout all of ur life even. These are the things that should- that i look at when thinking about something like this. Not that fairy tale trope of: oh did i feel good in the moment afterwards & did my feelings not get sad whatsoever cause it all went to my desires, everyone lives, its all better now. I agree with you, i know all these things ive talked about & that aot succedes in all of them. Compared to a show, a good show even say, ill like it- the ending too it'll be fine, feel good; but after its over i wont remember it; the impact & thoughts wont come anywhere close to something like Attack on Titan

My personal fav openings are My war - 7:31 and ofcourse Shinzou wa Sasageyo- 3:01 , and The Rumbling is great too - 9:01 , to be honest i love all of them❤❤❤
I think it's because not all the shifters of the beast's look like a monkey, all beast titan looks a bit different, based on the shifter's personality. So the different animals are ig earlier form's of the beast titan.
I guess I've got to rewatch this entire series now that it's ended; there's so much foreshadowing, even in the first opening. All those chains...they don't make sense until season 4, how crazy is that?
10 year journey of a anime. I can assure that even in 100 year no one will able to make such thing. This is not just a masterpiece. This is just you can't describe in words.
Honestly I think aot peaked at season 3, it was amazing, both parts, it serves as the penultimate part of the series perfectly, not to say the other seasons are bad, they are all amazing but season 3 is just slightly above the rest for me, it wraps up basically everything from the original series, the final season just feels like a natural conclusion to the story to me.
season 4 wasn't bad though I did like studio WIT better (the studio that adapted season 1-3) peaking in season 3 is facts. if wit did season 4 the show would be nutty but it would have released in 2030 or something lamo

Under the tree really grew on me. When I hear the leaks I thought it was okay but man after hearing so much and hearing that full version it’s honestly my fav op
No matter how many times I listen to the openings and sing along, under the tree just breaks me. I don't want to lose anything precious to me. And that opening encapsulates that. And it stands for the whole series reaching an end. It might've been less than half my life, but I connected deeply. Sure, I can keep coming back to watch it again and again, but there won't be any new adventures
As a German I find it amazing, that the show has so much German influence. Like the names, the towns look like a german Altstadt and in the openings there are also many German phrases ❤. Love goes out to Japan. I love you guys ❤️
So many people complain about the series getting bad at season 4 and especially the final few episodes but honestly I think season 4 and everything past season 4 are the best parts of the whole series.
I can't explain it, but Aot gives me like- the sense of true freedom. I just love the way everything went EXTREMELY bad. Im not crazy or smt, but I love that every hopes the characters had disappeared with Erens rumbling. These openings make me want to scream omg.
The moment I heard and saw the season 3 opening (4th opening) I thought one of the three were dying this season, it was such a change of pace compared to the ones before it it, didn't think all three were making it out of that season.

I remember I hated the concept of turning into a titan and was like "wtf is this show". I didn’t have any plan of watching the series. I used to just see 1 or 2 clips of the fightings in CZcams.
Now I've completed the anime. In my case, this is the greatest story I've ever known.
I will miss this show too much. And I will try to recommend this to as many persons as I can

The cannibalism and self harm are disgusting for sure. My least favorite part of the series. But it has one of the strongest stories I've ever seen in an anime.
For my story, i am simply ignoring the anime thinking "its just some popular anime many people love" but one day, my curiosity got the best of me and watched its first episode. Until that moment, i never stopped watching. One of my greatest decisions in my life, now i am rewatching it again (i didn't really got to see a portion of the ending parts, specifically the rumbling since the application i was watching this AoT on has it as premium, rendering me from watching the newer episodes that time.). So now i am not only rewatching it again, but completing it! Already on Season 3, its an amazing experience.

@@adrianotalavera9474 apparently the 1 hour+ specials were broken up into episodes and airred in Japan so they had their own openings that were not on the actual 1 hour specials

I'm rewatching the series for the first time in probably years and omg it is a completely different experience. Knowing everything and seeing the clues everywhere is making me want to cry out constantly, but I can't because I'm watching it with my mom whose never seen it 😅

Can’t believe this show is over, after 11 years. Attack on Titan was the greatest show I’ve ever seen, the plot was so consistent, because it was amazing all the way until the end.

AoT wasn't even close to my favorite anime. I didn't even have a favorite anime, but, after that ending... I can confidently say that AoT is now one of the best TV shows of all time.

FINale...The power to leave an impact many years after the thing took place, stays with you, influences you, throughout all of ur life even. These are the things that should- that i look at when thinking about something like this. Not that fairy tale trope of: oh did i feel good in the moment afterwards & did my feelings not get sad whatsoever cause it all went to my desires, everyone lives, its all better now. I agree with you, i know all these things ive talked about & that aot succedes in all of them. Compared to a show, a good show even say, ill like it- the ending too it'll be fine, feel good; but after its over i wont remember it; the impact & thoughts wont come anywhere close to something like Attack on Titan
And its just that for me, even if some guy is crying that it didnt go all his way which that he wanted; everyone's got an asshole & an opinion asthey say& i can say that I know what i like

Honestly I think aot peaked at season 3, it was amazing, both parts, it serves as the penultimate part of the series perfectly, not to say the other seasons are bad, they are all amazing but season 3 is just slightly above the rest for me, it wraps up basically everything from the original series, the final season just feels like a natural conclusion to the story to me.
Fr, I liked the opening the most there too, it was very sudden after red swan and really hyped me up
season 4 wasn't bad though I did like studio WIT better (the studio that adapted season 1-3) peaking in season 3 is facts. if wit did season 4 the show would be nutty but it would have released in 2030 or something lamo

No matter how many times I listen to the openings and sing along, under the tree just breaks me. I don't want to lose anything precious to me. And that opening encapsulates that. And it stands for the whole series reaching an end. It might've been less than half my life, but I connected deeply. Sure, I can keep coming back to watch it again and again, but there won't be any new adventures

As a German I find it amazing, that the show has so much German influence. Like the names, the towns look like a german Altstadt and in the openings there are also many German phrases ❤. Love goes out to Japan. I love you guys ❤️

So many people complain about the series getting bad at season 4 and especially the final few episodes but honestly I think season 4 and everything past season 4 are the best parts of the whole series.

The Rumbling is best cause i love rock and the energy of it. And you can hear it without feeling shitty cause its from an anime opening.
I can't explain it, but Aot gives me like- the sense of true freedom. I just love the way everything went EXTREMELY bad. Im not crazy or smt, but I love that every hopes the characters had disappeared with Erens rumbling. These openings make me want to scream omg.
The moment I heard and saw the season 3 opening (4th opening) I thought one of the three were dying this season, it was such a change of pace compared to the ones before it it, didn't think all three were making it out of that season.
After watching the whole anime I can now confidently say I have no idea what all the hearts mean in sasageyo
