I use both these gels. I live in Florida and am exposed to a lot of humidity, I have type 4 hair. Here's how I use both of these gels:
With Miche Tropical Oasis- Use with extremely wet hair, apply Camille Rose Curl Maker then the Miche Gel, and sit under a hooded dryer. With Wetline Xtreme, use your favorite leave in conditioner first, then the Wetline Xtreme or Uncle Funky's Daughter on extremely wet hair, then Wetline Xtreme. Since you have low porosity hair, I think you should try applying your stylers in the shower with warm water. This way you get fully saturated hair. Your hair came out beautiful btw.

For the second combo you said Wetline twice, did you mean use Wetline or Uncle funky then use the oasis on top?

@@marieyumi1 sorry let me clarify. First, all the combos begin with soaking wet hair.
Combo 1. UFD, Wetline Xtreme
Combo 2. Leave in conditioner (I use Paul Mitchell the Conditioner), Wetline Xtreme
Combo 3. Camille Rose Curl maker, Miche Tropical Oasis gel.
*Don't forget to add water as needed* and always sit under a hooded dryer.
To Break the gel cast, on completely dry hair, scrunch or smoothe a light weight oil throughout the hair. the cast will break on day 3 by itself.
The posing at the end to show your beautiful hair is always a top tier thing to watch 😭🤞🏿

Your hair came out nice! I actually like the Miche side better. The Miche gel does elongate your hair. Plus, it works better with soaking wet hair.

I like to do a bentonite clay / apple cider vinegar before doing wash and gos. Give me the beautiful definition and moisture I need
I’ve seen a lot of people doing that as well. I’m going to have to give it a try before I do my next wash and go!

The miche side looks more moisturized but it could just be the camera.
