The first Noel the angel did say
was to certain poor shepherds in fields as they lay;
in fields where they lay keeping their sheep,
on a cold winter's night that was so deep.

born is the King of Israel.
They looked up and saw a star
shining in the east, beyond them far;
and to the earth it gave great light,
and so it continued both day and night.
And by the light of that same star
three Wise Men came from country far;

o'er Bethlehem it took its rest;

I love how my screen reader on my computer totally butchers the pronunciation of the word "noel". It's pronounced as "no-ell", but my screen reader pronounces it as "nole" (I.E it doesn't sound like No-ell", like 2 separate syllables, but it sounds more like "N-O-L-E" or something like that, like a single syllable. Lol!
Really, though, this sounds pretty! I was intentionally looking for a guitar cover of this song just a few minutes ago and I found this one :). I felt like this song would sound pretty on an acoustic guitar. I encourage you to keep playing pretty music! :)))
