- I built up this beast oldschool hardcore hardtail for a few days to play on! :D
It's a 243 DH hardtail frame with Marzocchi Monster t's (YES MONSTERS) The frame is designed to take monsters and any forks! :D
The bike weighs a tone which just makes everything more of a challenge :D Also it was built fairly cheap using all second hand parts! You don't need a new bike to shred ;)
• URBAN FREERIDE - HARDC... This one is with 100mm forks ;) 243 Racing frame, seriously hardcore frames! - Sport
Dude this video is sick the stoppie downstairs😮
Spark V1 cheers dude 🤘:)
Rob dis Willis so sick😍
Rob dis Willis werd that was my fav trick ... did you use front brakes??
This is a dream bike in my opinion =))))
Yep
If you can ride like that
Watched this so may times. I've got more chance of winning the lottery that finding that 243 frame or the monster Ts . Your a superb rider 👌
Haha thanks mate, they are rare but they do occasionally come up for sale.. 243 frames can be found cheap when they do come up for sale but monster ts go for silly money nowadays.. really wish I kept mine lol I'll get another set one day 🤣🤘
You're proof that talent plays a big part in what bikes can do because that is the most unusual combo 👌🏼
years ago it was a fairly standard combo for a lot who couldn't afford full suspension frames. the nostalgia
Like the old days. These were the best days ever! Keep riding like this!!
reminds me of my first downhillrides 10 yrs ago. started out with a 200mm hardtail aswell :D
"Men you cant do dh in a dirt bike"
Rob: *LET ME STOP YOU RIGHT THERE*
Hahaha 😂
2019 and this is still a amazing bike 😍
Oldschool urban freeride is still alive! Awesome!
Sick bike. Love the stickers all over the frame
nice stickers on bike
PUNK'S NOT DEAD!!!
AWESOME. Love it, keep it up. That manual was sick.
pro mod steve cheers dude 😄
I've had a 243 built as a DJ bike for over 10 years. The thing still looks and feels mint. The frame is the only thing left from the original build.
Nice one! I actaully cracked this one in a couple of places but i did really ride it hard as you can see. Mind you its gone to a new home and been welded up so still gonna be rode for years to come hopefully :) I've still got my other 243 frames probably build them up again at some point
that setup is the lifted truck of hardtails, lol. sick riding. also, keep up the no-music thing. awesome to just hear the sounds of the bike
Sick dude a great expression of proper urban freeride, really sweet manual and stoppie skills!
DimensionsOfEarth thanks dude :D
Man this is sick, who said you need a full suspension bike for this sick tricks, keep it up man youve got some serious skills
At first I thought the bike was ugly, then I realized it was just was just unique with personality. sick skills
Very Nice 😂 Love the Manual down the Stairs
haha cheers! :D
One of the coolest bikes I’ve seen in a while.
Dude! That manual down the stairs was epic!! 🤘🤘🤘
Hahah thanks dude on the back wheel or the front wheel? 🤣🤘 still impressed with that nose manual down 26 stairs only took me 3 attempts to make it all the way! 😆🤘
@@dis_hucker FPMS...I was too busy typing that comment that I missed the nose manual that was even better! 😂
@@TheBrokenMountainBiker hahaha I need to start doing them more often again I kinda forget I can do them 🤣
i now have all the parts for my hardtail dh ebike build... basically the same as yours but with 72v 30Ah 3000w hub. thanks for the insperation 👍
what a legend!
Actually a beast of a bike! Sick video!🤙🤘
Thanks! yes it is a beast :D
Damn dude sick bike !!!
nice bike =) Looks like a small tank and I see he's taking big hits there ;D nice.
...love the hard tail. A souped up Norco Wolverine. Check out the Monster Bombers! Ya baby!
Joe N banshee Morphine
WOW THAT BIKE IS SO COOL !!! and good video man you are a PRO
This is AMAZING!
That bike looks SIIIIIIIIIIICCKK !
That bike looks cool and weird as fuck man hahaha never seen a 24'' dual crown fork hardtail ever before
Its from about 2004 the frame, the forks are 2001. It is a huck hardtail haha. Basically just to play about on and have fun! :D
Yeah! It seems like a fun toy, defenetly one out of a kind :D Also nice riding
Running a big fork 6 to 8 inches of travel and 24 x 3 inch or 26 x 2.5 --- 2.7 inch tires was super common in the freeride world 2000 to 2005 . Older sick bikes like the brodie holeshot was a awesome ride to stick a stratous superstar 6.0 or monster T or jr-t or a 888rc. I rode this stuff for years because it just works awesome. Try it
yooo that fork is so overkill, great video, and unusual bike. keep up the great work
Rytis Andrulionis haha way overkill. Cheers. In my other videos I've used 100mm DJ1 forks for stair gaps ;)
Nice video dude👍😱
Lovin the steel frame..
you got skills bro nice work
Simplicity of a dirtjumper, capability of a downhill bike, i fucking love it.
haha that is true , thanks dude was a very fun bike to ride :)
Sweet riding! Now all you need is a Super Monster T with 300mm of travel.
cheers :D 300mm would be asking for a snapped frame and likely death haha
Kickass video dude!
6 or 7 years ago I was shredding at northstar (karpiel crazy DH run) and was trying to keep up with this guy who was rippin it insanely fast. Rode as fast as I possibly could and barely kept up. When we got to the bottom of the trail i realized he was on a hardtail with a dual crown fork. Maybe there is something to this madness
bro that bike looks sick
Dudee Those Are Strong Damn Tires 😯😯😯 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
It's Real oldschool! Man, you are cool!
Sick bike... I'm in love ♥️
Its a awesome bike, check my other videos. Its in a few and will be in more videos :D
this is awesome!!!
Sick edit, love the manual, nose manual and huck combo
Thanks dude 😄
Hi there
How do you put downhill forks onto a hardtail frame.
Are there any particular difficulties or things I've got to look out for?
I'm new to bike building but I've got to try and build one like yours as it's the best friggin bike I've ever seen !!!
Your riding skills are pure magic, you rock the MTB scene with your vidz .
Could you explain how you mounted the forks to get the geometry bang on?
Cheers and all the best.
Rich
Amazing!!
finally a proper freeride video, long life to 24 too!!!
Hell yeah dude check out my most recent video, I like to keep oldschool free riders alive! 😂🤘👊
1:08 thats so cool
Cancer Lord its a stopie

Ultimate huck bike ! This brings back memories .
Am I too late for watching this in 2018? So good it reminds of earlier Jibs dvds
Haha cheers dude, its never to late to watch this 😂 yeah man Jibs DVDs were sick
im watching in 2021!
You deserve more views... Great vid!
RSZ thanks dude! I'm not really sure how to get more , but I'm gonna keep riding and filming :)
Keep doing what you are doing. I only ride street here in Texas and love your killer vids and can't wait for the next one. You are an inspiration and push me to do better and push myself.
Love the hardtail stuff. Hardtail junkie here too.
Nice Video, I like the Bike xD
crazy seeing a hardtail with a dual crown fork
thats so sick
That thing is sick man don't listen to the people who know nothing about bikes and think it looks bad haha
Jordy Grooby exactly 😂 I couldn't care less what people think of my bike it is ridiculous and that's the way I like it 😂
It looks hideous and I love it.
That thing is a work of art.. It's NOT ugly..
“Know nothing about bikes” this bike has a geometry that will snap it and put pressure in places where it hasn’t been designed to have pressure
"where it hasn’t been designed to have pressure"
like the huge gusset that is part of the frame design? or did the factory just have spare material laying around and thought it would be a good way to use it up? haha
great to see one of these in use, my frame has a marzocchi ATA fork, hope to use it for downhill fun
Stephen Kagerer oh yes dude I got 3 243 frames all different 😊
The nostalgia!
real nice bike😍👍👍👍
looks like a fun lil whip
I'm your 500th subscriber!!!!
That's a sick bike
Just imagine walking through the underpass to be greeted by a flying bike :D
Rich yeah I always make sure there's no one about :D
Usually I have someone with me aswell just to be sure :)
Nice bike and cool clip
what tires and rims do you use, are they tubeless or not?
Isaac the tyres are 24" x 3" halo contras , the rims are sun ringle double wides and use kenda extra heavy duty tubes which weigh alot but I never had a single puncture
Rob dis Willis Nice! thank you.
Rob dis Willis one last question, how is the pressure in the tires?
Isaac no problem dude, I usually run about 30 psi in these tyres but sometimes as low as 20psi they are designed to be run at low pressures :)
Rob dis Willis okay! thank you for your attention.
You have really good skills buddy!
keep it up!!!
Pranay'z' Vlogs thanks dude 😊
this was great
There is no other hard tail so wonderful
HSRC project haha 😊I don't know about that you should see some of my others I had I've only got pictures of them though now
Rob dis Willis
I am Japanese, so I do not understand English well.
sorry😭
Really cool video mate ...
Just bought myself a custom built giant dirt jumper with Manitou 180mm forks on it, absolute beast!
Nice but watch the head tube as it won't be designed for that much travel
Yo you're so good nice video👌
Nice bike ..
What a machine!!!
I like your Bike so much!!!😍
WTF SO SICK!!!!!
I wish there were bikes like this in Brazil
Alter wie kann man die treppen so runter ballern xDDD Respekt
Pretty Wicked!
czcams.com/video/s_Fru8vcpV0/video.html This one is with 100mm ;) Another 243 Racing frame, seriously hardcore frames! :D I usually only use 100mm forks for stair gaps, 175mm MONSTER is sick though 😂😂 😂😂
Rob dis Willis totally miss this way of building bikes. From 1999 to about 2005 the freeride thing was crazy in canada. I built more custom bikes for customers built like this then most would understand. I still ride my norco 250 with a 66rc and big brakes just because its so fun. I also have one of Thomas vanderhams rockymountain rmx bikes that he rode at redbull rampage. Full saint groupo. 88rc . Fox prototype rear shock. Works so good
Ernie Desjardins yeah dude no one understands it these days haha but I don't care I'm not riding new stuff wouldn't trust most of it
Rob dis Willis how much has it costed the bike? I'm sorry for my english , i'm not english
Rob dis Willis what is the chain?
respect bro, that bike is pure gold. also riding the old stuff just feels good. i have three bikes, all of which are old with older marzocchi forks.
Sick!!!
sick Marzocchi monster triple
Awesome forks! :D
Sick Vid
Sick broo ;)
Yeah boy Nice!!👌
I miss the good old days
Awesome!!!
Thats bike is sick
Woooow watching this video I remember a lot my old sun rims double wides...
Lndrlms Martin yeah dude great rims I still shred on 2 pairs and believe me they still take a proper hammering lol
Respect🤤
Nice! I don't know why but I think I still have some Arrow prime wide 24x3 kicking around haha
i love this bike man, i will build similar sh*t
Nice manual :D
Epic epic build .
I had a 2005 norco rampage with a triple crown 180 mm fork. 888 if i remember right.
Yeah I miss this build but will build similar again soon and do some more urban hucks like this 😂🤘
@@globyboulga1045 Norco rampage are beasts 😎👍🤘
@@dis_hucker i payed a full month of salary for it... back in 2005...
@@globyboulga1045 my first ever proper freeride bike was a 2005 Norco Sasqautch was a wicked bike I snapped the stock Marzocchi Drop off 130mm though 😂
nice ride
Indonesia 🙌🙌🙌 wow you sick bro hahaha very nice
Sick
so sick
I also have a 243 racing frame and I have to say they amazing but really heavy frames
Cool, they are pretty heavy but that never bothered me 😂🤙
