Thanks for posting! Going to see them in St. Louis in a couple weeks. Saw them years ago with Wilco and Robert Zimmerman aka bob dylan as the headliner in Peoria. Weird to see Bob Dylan as headliner with those two bands. Wilco and MMJ rocked. Was glad I saw Bob but Wilco and MMJ, what a duo! Really looking forward to seeing them again.

Strangulation and Honest Man are on my shortlist of songs they rarely play and I would LOVE to see live. Not sure I'll ever get lucky enough to get a show where they're on the setlist. This was a very lucky pull for this crowd.
It really was! There was a lot of buzz and online excitement when some folks heard them play it in sound check; anticipating they would probably play it that night. MMJ did not disappoint! 🤩 What a blast the whole night was.
I hope you get to eventually hear it in person my friend.

I used to go to every show MMJ in a 300 mile radius of Lexington Kentucky from 2008-2012, then life got boring.
6/23/23 was a horrible day for me, we had to put our dog down & my car broke down the same evening.
We just saw them. Oregon. What a show! The drummer drove the show that night. And those lights.

I have noticed people getting a case of the a$$ about people recording. I don't understand why. If they're distracted by someone holding up a tiny screen, that's their problem. Maybe it's because I'm one of those mid-90s Daveheads who loved to listen to bootlegs of live shows and wanted to hug every person who was recording a show.
Again, thank you for recording this beautiful show for the world (especially disabled fans) to experience.
I really appreciate your comment. I love bootlegs as well and love recording shows to go back and watch myself. I seem to always have people come up to after a show and ask if I am going to post it and hope that I will. I recently decide to start posting because of so many requests.
When I record I always try to record with my screen fairly dim and keep the phone at chin level or lower out of consideration for others.
Love your statement about the recording being great for disabled fans. I have worked in disability fields for over 30 years and so such a thought really blesses me. Thanks for your kind words.

Really? Why is that? When I film I dim my display to be unobtrusive to my fellow concert-goers. And I hold the phone a chin level, occasionally glancing down to make sure I’m still aimed correctly. The people behind me see exactly what they would see if I was standing there with no phone, only I’m standing still and and not moving around and carrying on conversations with my seat mates, and interrupting the entire row to go on another beer run. Sheesh

Haha, yeah that was my son. He was being silly and sarcastic. It was so good that that it would be laughable to leave. He is a big Jacket fan like me and purchased plenty of merch that night and enjoyed every moment of the show.
