Detoured OC Buses in Orange 5/4/19

As a result of the street closures associated with the Orange May Parade, routes 54, 56, and 59 were on detour today, although the detours themselves were different than usual. Route 54 used the adjacent Maple Ave for a half-mile longer than usual, and routes 56 and 59 headed west on Chapman Ave, then south on Batavia St, and then La Veta Ave onto their respective normal routes. Additionally, you can also see a First Transit Supervisor make an rare appearance at Orange station.
These are all the buses, by order of appearance:
1. XN40 #5783 on route 56 westbound; notice on the side destination sign how it says “Service animal training” even though it doesn’t display it in the front
2. XN40s #5730 and #5735 on route 54, and C40LFR #5612 on a northbound route 59. Note the honking by #5735 at 1:05 for some unknown reason.
3. C40LFR #5626 running on route 59 southbound, joined by XN40 #5781 behind it
4. #5626 heads west on Chapman Ave along its detour route, then making a left at Batavia St.
