  • At the 11th hour-of college, of a job, of a friendship, of your life-will you regret the life you’ve lived? This piece explores the difficulty of living with one foot perpetually in the future, trying to shape your choices so that you’ll be satisfied with them for years to come. But can you really know what the “right” choice is? How do we live in the moment, knowing the present is temporary?
Dancers will attempt, paradoxically, to view the present from a future perspective in which this current moment has become the past. The choreography will explore what happens when we try to guide our life from this perspective: a looming fear of making the wrong choices, trying to take advantage of every opportunity but stretching ourselves too thin in the process, not knowing what’s most important to us. As the end approaches, can we find beauty in accepting the ephemerality of our present moments?
