Ufffff bro…. It’s 2024 now. That was 1999, 4 people, no auto tune, no sequenced playback, simple chords, but a unique voice, a unique sound, and nothing more than what the song needs! a master piece. Real music.
BINGO! Ever since I 1st heard this in '92, the drumming has always made me enjoy this song more and more. It's not the overt loud drumming that gets me... it's the subtle "background" drum roll between the lines sung on the tom toms. Thank you for letting me share this.
When Dolores stepped on stage she owned it.....she became the center of attention because you could not take your eyes off her.....she brought the audience into her world and her world was loud and exciting.....she really was one in a million.....
Walter Mameli could not agree more...seen her at the beginning of their career in a small club in Providence RI, maybe 100 people. And she stepped out and my jaw was on the ground for the first 3 songs, then I danced my ass off.....MUCHLOVE
It is amazing how such a tiny, sassy energetic woman can fit an audience of thousands into the palm of her hand. Those who were there were so lucky to see a live performance talent, the likes which that will never be seen again. May she rest in peace.
She was so special, her voice was so unique.. The Cranberries were my childhood, I loved Dolores.. my thoughts are with Ireland. Rest in piece, Dolores. Goodbye from Czech republic..
The energy in this performance is crazy here. One thing I hate about concerts today is that everyone has their phone out. Everyone in the crowd here seems very engaged with nothing to distract them. RIP.
Yes! Born at the beginning of the 90s but I never went to a concert til idk 2006-2007 probably the end of an era right around then when it comes to phones not being in every hand. I would do anything to experience a show like this^ Especially if somehow it could be THEM 💔
I get goosebumps at the beginning. God, to be an adored, talented rock star...I can only dream...RIP Delores! Most underrated lead singer of the 90’s and early 2000’s.
When I was traveling extensively back in 94 / 95 this was my 'takeoff' song. I always LOVED the feeling of the thrusters kicking in and rocketing down the runway. Always had my cd player queued up and would hit 'play' as soon as I felt them kick in. For most traveling is a beating. For me getting on a plane, going somewhere new or newish (lots of repeat trips especially Tucson) the feeling of getting there and this song always put a smile on my face and really gave me a sense of peace. The fact that she died of alcohol poisoning is very sad (I didn't know until I stumbled across this video and was reliving good times). RIP miss. The world is a lesser place without you

Having now watched thousands of videos on You Tube, I`ve come to the conclusion that this performance of Dolores, the band, the crowd and atmosphere can not be beaten----by anybody !!

Mind Searing Voice that pierced, it seems, my very soul - what a beautiful Voice, what great Talent! The Cranberries, all four of them, Fantastic Musicians. I just found this treasure, on November 19th. of this year, on CZcams. I had not heard of these AMAZING performers, before. After watching this performance, I looked up "Google", whereupon I discovered that this BEAUTIFUL LADY had passed away, in 2018. An overwhelming feeling of deep sadness came upon myself. At the same, I realized I was privileged, to be able to witness such remarkable TALENT. MOST BEAUTIFUL LADY, YOU ARE IN HEAVEN. Watching this again & again especially after a Limerick triumph brings me to tears. My grandfather was a staunch GAA man & died in 2015 at 89. A few short yrs later Limerick start to win more cups in a few yrs than he had seen in all his life. I still miss going to GAA matches with my him & my dad.
2:53 she had such unique mannerisms. love this sudden arm to the side....for some reason . then she goes 'ah' and walks dancing in such lovely way, you can tell she is feeling it to her core

Such a melodious voice. She was a master of sound and her ability to do it live makes her so much better then many artists that cannot replicate their studio sound in front of a live audience.

This song is literally one of the best songs ever.
Not only that, no cell phones in the crowd, they are just enjoying the concert, singing, having fun.
me too.
Sure no autotune, sh's off tune quite a bit a the beginning.
Not to worry though. That's what real voice sounds.
Jesus Christ, what a performance. Dolores was one heck of a live singer. Simply owned it. A Freddie Mercury from Ireland.

I hate to admit it, but the drums are at least equal to dolores.
The drumming on this track is wonderful. There's a Stewart Copeland feel to it.
I'm behind a kit now learning it for a gig on Paddy's day. Much better drumming than the studio version.
