- Liverpool host Championship leaders Leicester City in the Carabao Cup at Anfield on Wednesday night as they look to build on an impressive start to the season.
Jurgen Klopp's mean have won seven games from eight in all competitions and will be aiming to bring that form into the League Cup, while it will provide valuable playing time to a number of players in the Liverpool squad.
The likes of Ryan Gravenberch, Cody Gakpo and Wataru Endo will all be hoping to get minutes under their belts, with Stefan Bajectic, Ibrahima Konate and Wataru Endo also hoping to see some action.

Agreed if we are talking about squad management. If Leicester are going to take the League Cup seriously and field their strongest 11, then they are Premier League level opposition and selecting a starting 11 like this is bordering on throwing the competition away.
