Theres a lull of new coins because when they changed to the new £1 everyone emptied their piggy banks so they didn’t need so much change in circulation :)

I think all coins should get a standard 2.5million mintage. That way we all get a chance at finding one without it being as rare as rocking horse poo (I'm looking at you, kew) or finding tons (benjamin blinking bunny). Then again, would it make it less fun? I probably wouldn't get to sit through these great vids either. 👍 keep it going, christopher.

You need to ask some serious questions when you visit the Mint, Christopher! Where are the 2017,18,19 £2 coins! Give them the old "Do you know who I am!!"
Some great coins over last few years just not been put into circulation, crying shame.

Hi Chris love watching your coin hunts,i had a coin given to me yesterday which looks similar to a two pound coin, i dont know which country it is from,the writing around it looks like Arabic or Saudi Arabia or something along those lines,theres a mans profile with a date 2000-1903 with the number 5 under it on one side and a shield with a star above,a sailing ship, justice scales and a lion with in the shield,on the other,also 2002-1423 underneath,any ideas where it could be from??
