I just picked this exact watch up today from my local Gamestop for $130. I traded in some old switch games I never play and walked out with the watch and $20 in cash. So far I really like the watch...especially the band and overall feel.
@@KevinDixon got mine, such an interesting watch difference from my FR945. Buttons are clickier on the instinct and I'm excited to switch over for the summer at the ocean with my kids because of the instinct durability and battery life.
@@AsianNIGMA I did because it was cheap and also fit my FR945 I think so 2 birds one stone. Truth is probably don't need it because the instinct bezel is raised. I broke my first FR945 screen protector when I was weight lifting with it because the FR has no raised bezel.
I just got it on clearance at gamestop for $30. Was normally $125 on clearance but it was the last day of the clearance sale and they were giving 70% off the clearance price. I already have a Venu 3 but this will probably be my backup.

I didn't really look into it and thought it was gimmicky so I went with the Tactical edition because I actually use stealth mode when I paintball at night with my night vision goggles lol. I shoulda looked more into this one because I game more than I use my goggles hahaha.
I think gamestop had a glitch because I just grabbed this for 62$ last week lol. So far I'm enjoying it, but for some reason the Streamup application for overlaying biometrics on stream...crashes my video card. Straight up, my monitor goes dark, video card crashed, no signal found and I have to hard reset my pc.
@@GeekCulture I am guessing there is no other way to broadcast your metrics like this without that specific version correct? I know some of their watches can transmit HR like the 945 but would that work too or just the esports one? Good video my friend.
100bpm isn't abnormal, like Chris said some people have higher bpms. iirc usually the smaller or younger someone is the higher their HR on average, and the larger or older a person, the slower the HR. Heart rate alone isn't the full picture for Heath, blood pressure plays a big roll in overall heart health.
Most of the comments ask the same question, "Is this the same Garmin instinct watch, just with the streaming widget preloaded?" If so, the Garmin Instinct smartwatch comes in a good variety of colors. It is the same price and style, so there is good reason for a consumer to expect this is the case. Every use case will be different and I hope Garmin was wise enough to allow for full customization.
Disappointed with this watch. I bought this watch to track my running mileage, hr, etc. much like my cycling computer. I've not been able to figure out if the watch does that, but I a feeling it doesn't.

My question is can you still use the streaming app with the non esports versions, they have the same info available so idk why you couldn't.
It’s only a feature on the e sports version. From what I understand it has all the features of the Garmin instinct plus the esports mode.

Why your HR is so high while you recording? Over 100bpm,
Some people have higher resting heart rate.

It's on the specs sheet to do this, various YTers used the watch for this and have demonstrated the function... There is no excuse NOT to know this.
