Maybe I don't test a lot between frequencies (lack of time), but it seems to me that multi frequency and all metals plus iron audio is somehow the most responsive combination. The detector quickly recognizes various objects during the swing in this mode.
I second that. But I bet they won't reply to this. The apex is so chatty and the VDIs are all over the place. Target recovery speed and iron masking is dreadful too. The apex can't pick up a silver 2" from an iron target. A software update must be able to fix this.
