- In this building a house episode we attempt to tile the remainder of our bathrooms, mudroom, laundry room, and Master Bath before our wedding deadline hits. It was our main goal to be moved in before we got married otherwise we will be newlyweds trapped in my parent's basement. In this episode we work along two tile setters to get these floors and showers tiled! We share all of the tile names, costs, and tools used if you were looking to do this yourself! Hey there! Thank you so much we appreciate all of your kind words!! That means so much ♥️ We drew up our house plans in CAD with the help of my dad who is a builder. We had to get the drawings approved by an engineer before moving forward.

Really enjoyed that video... a couple of comments, no need to reply, I realize you guys are super busy.
1 - It's not easy to accept when you don't have a complete enough skill set to do a particular job to the level you want, calling in help is a choice you will be super happy with down the road.
2 - Really good to see you realized having a straight line through those three rooms that intersected was important, you would have been crazy unhappy if you didn't do so.
3 - My wife gives two thumbs way up for all the tile style and colors 🙂
4 - Curious if there is anywhere you guys are registered that if one wanted to they could get you a little something to celebrate the wedding?

1. Totally agree, we were happy to test out the tile on the shower walls in the kids bathrooms. It turned out good but we wanted to make sure it looked great in the powder and master. We don't regret that decision at all!
2. We love that you noticed the line. Jerry brought up that straight line at least 10 times so we figured it must be pretty important :)
3. Yes!! Please tell her thank you. I (Lisa) spent way too much time staring at tile samples so that means a lot.
4. That is seriously so nice but not necessary. We just feel so thankful to have your support and love that you watch our show together. Faris and I watch other CZcams couples in our free time too so it's pretty cool to be on the other end.

Tiling is the most brutal part about a house build. Even worse than painting.
Well glad you feel that way! Especially since it's over for us :) Insulation is definitely up there on our list haha
