Great to see your video post Greg, although I just got the notification, a week late. Lol. $7/gallon for jet A seems a little steep. Isn't jet A glorified heating oil? Love the scenery. Enjoy it while you can. In not too much longer, there will be that white stuff on the ground. Always nice to ride along with you Greg. Is that heating elements on your windshield or antennas?

Your videos are fantastic , doesn't matter what mood I'm in I always have a smile on my face after watching them. PD1 Been licensed since March 1971. Now 75 years old living in Naples. Watching your videos now pushing for restart on GA. Been 20 years on the ground looking up. No more. Technology advancements incredible. Foreflight on my new iPad amazing. Getting acquainted with program coming along nicely. Went up for some dual in PA 28R-180 based at KAPF. I am just as thrilled at 4000 over SW Florida as you are at FL 40. Thanks for the inspiration to start smashing bugs again. The thrill never went away. Naples is rarified air and the airport is a fun place to to see aviationin so many different forms. Parking and observing and monitoring traffic on my mobile VHF provides entertaining and relaxing plane watching. Really looking forward to KEYW for $200 hamburger and night flight back up the keys to Naples. Just added foreflight-sentry-ads-b-receiver to my flight bag inventory. No more hard copies and approach plate binders flying around the cockpit. The technology advances are so incredible since I checked out 20 years ago. Carrying a glass cockpit in my flight bag is so amazing to me. ADS-B beats out the times when GPS was finding its way into aviation. So incredible. I am a kid in the toy shop!!

Absolutely love coming in and out of Jackson. Living and flying out of Salt Lake City, I fly a lot charters in this area. You won’t find a more scenic flight than the Tetons and Windriver (just to the East) Ranges and the Absaroka (we call them the Beartooths) Range Western Wyoming and Montana share....amongst many others like the Madison where Big Sky is. Breathtaking. I’ve been giving the PC-12 and Challenger 350 a workout in this area all summer....well it stays just as busy with the winter traffic to this area as well. Can’t get enough. A couple weeks ago the density altitude at the Driggs-Reed (KDIJ) airport (just over on the west side of the Tetons) was almost 10,000 feet. Flying in these mountainous (yes these are real mountains for the easterners lol) environments can certainly get your attention quick. Thanks for another awesome one. Safe journeys.

Capt. Greg, just discovered your videos this week. Thank you for the technical descriptions. I particularly enjoyed this video as I was a resident of Jackson until the day before you flew in on this flight. Now I am in North Carolina, back close to family.
A couple JH stories for you. Back in 2017, when the eclipse came through, Jackson was one of the places where it would be complete. It was a crazy with the roads blocked in and out for hours. At that time my son and daughter-in-law where living with me, and we went out to the National Museum of Wildlife Art for a party hosted by the museum to watch the event. They were expecting a group flying in from somewhere. They ended up having to cancel as all the space for private aircraft at both JH and Driggs, Idaho were filled.
Second story. Back in the early 2000s, our family was flying in to Jackson from Salt Lake City. About 15 minutes into the flight, the pilot announced that we would be flying around for a while, while a plane that required a secured airspace could land. So for a half hour or so, we circled the Tetons on both the Wyoming and Idaho sides. Once so passengers on the right side of the aircraft could see the mountains, and another, so the left side could. When we finally landed, down at the end of the runway was Air Force Two, having brought Vice President Cheney in for the Fourth of July holiday. I'll keep watching if you keep flying.
    Thank you. Ed

I went to school at Montana State, graduated with a couple engineering degrees in 2001 and 2002, and now my daughter just started her freshman year at Montana State. My bride and I were married at Big Sky Chapel in 2001. Loved seeing it from the air again.

At least here in EASA land the ATC'er should use the "Do Not Reply" words even if during roll or immediate TO.
