2006 Renault Clio 3 Electric Window Repair

Repairing a non-functioning electric window on a Renault Clio.
Although the specific causes of such problems may vary between each car, this video should help to show how to remove the door panel, window glass and regulator from a Renault clio 3.
This actual repair was quite handy as no expensive parts were required, it was possible to salvage the old control unit on the window motor.

For those not being able to remove the doorpanel.. there are 2 Torx screws hidden behind the speaker. To get there, you need to remove the speaker protection(pry on the black part), remove the speaker by removing 2 Torx screws, 2 Torx screws will appear after that.

Thats mad haha, i would well belive it though some garages are buying dealer parts and charging a fair whack for labour. Okay in fairness it means they can stand over their work with 100% confidence and the labour rates pay for other business overheads. Although on 10+ year old clios its a bit too much to spend, best to tackle the job yourself and rebuild the mechanism.

Hello, my windows fell, then i opened it using your video and i realised that is not the mechanism that has the issues, but the plastic piece that is moving with the window, where cable was attached to. Its broken. Where can i find that plastic piece online? Can you help me maybe? :)

Unfortunately no i cant offer to fix cars, this is not my day job always have enough keeping me busy as it is in the limited hours after work. However it is why i make these videos to encourage others to try it themselves.
