  • Tokyo's best museum is teamlab Borderless in Odaiba, the most immersive visual experience in Japan and the first permanent digital art museum in the world.
The most popular exhibits include Crystal World, Forest of Lamps and Floating Nest where you can easily spent 3 hours.

Mori Building Digital Art Museum: Epson teamLab Borderless is the official name of the museum, I know, it is a mouth full. Located in Odaiba's Palette Town and is easily becoming a must-see for tourists and locals alike.
Tickets are often sold out, so do not wait around too long and reserve today for teamLab Borderless on Voyagin for $30 USD person.
The brainchild of teamLab, a visionary art collective made up of artists, engineers, CG animators and more, the wildly Instragrammable digital wonderland lives up to its 'borderless' name.
There isn't a map to guide you through this museum which makes for a fun adventure but the downside is you may miss a few hidden rooms, namely the Black Waves and Infinite Transparency since they are hidden behind curtains.
My TOP 10 favorite rooms at teamLab Borderless in Odaiba, Tokyo:
    1. Crystal World @1:22
    2. Forest of Lamps @1:59
    3. Light Vortex @2:22
    4. Universe of Water Particles @3:06
    5. Black Waves @3:34
    6. Infinite Transparency @4:00
    7. Floating Nest @4:32
    8. Sketch Aquarium @5:17
    9. Musical Wall Where Little People Live @5:35
    10 En Tea House @6:03
The museum is highly interactive and ever evolving, as your presence imprints on the digital space around you. Do not be shy to touch away, magical things may happen making each visit to the museum unique.
The museum is separated into five spaces covering two floors: Borderless World, Athletic Forest, Future Park, Forest of Lamps, and En Tea House.
Help out the Reformatt Show by buying your tickets through Reformatt.
    Any help is highly appreciated!
In conclusion, this video does not do teamlab borderless justice, it truly is something you have to experience with your own eyes and it is a rollercoaster for the senses, a perfect place to visit on a rainy day in tokyo!

I used your Tapei, Osaka and Tokyo guides, if you get the chance you should do Kyoto next. Also fun side activity you didn't mention is airsoft (survival game) in Tokyo at Akiba base. Great place for foreigners who want to play some airsoft!

    • @Snappaya
      @Snappaya Před 4 lety +1

i went in january and i’d say go as early as you can so you don’t have to wait for the long lines and it is quite hard to navigate because it’s dark and i don’t think there’s a map.

Hi one year late lol. I’d say split them out. There is more than enough to see at teamlabs borderless for 3-4 hours and you definitely dont want to feel rushed when enjoying the art. Plus the area around borderless is great to walk around and snap pictures of too. Plenty to do

After being impressed for like 15-20 min I just felt everything else was just boring. Things they don't tell you is that you have to QUEUE for the "cooler" rooms about 45-60 min wait time and you only get a miserable 3-5 minutes inside the room before you are told to leave. The crowds are too big and really lower down your experience. It would be cool if they would actually sell tickets for certain time slots. Anyways the museum is not everyone, it will impress you but to me the magic doesn't last long.
