- If you just installed new bulbs, and your turn signals are no longer working, you need to install both a new hazard light relay, and a turn signal relay. The Novita LL552 works for both the hazard and turn signal circuits -- it even works with both incandescent lights, LED lights, and a mix of the two.

I have a 1985 F-350. That’s exactly what I needed to speed up the slow blinkers. I feel like my signals are more visible to other drivers, now. Thank you for posting.
Just replaced my 85 C10 tail lights with LED, this is exactly what I ran into. Thank you for this!
I cannot thank you enough for posting this video; you are truly a god send. I have a 92 Corvette and have relentlessly tried to replace my standard bulbs with LED’s and had nothing but issues, even with the flashers that came with every kit I ordered. Purchased the flasher you recommended, changed over to LED’s and have No issues. Thank you so much for posting your video!👍🏻👍🏻
That's awesome man, I'm glad to hear the video helped!
Thank you. I figured it would be an easy fix, didn't know it would be this easy!
Man i was going crazy trying to figure mine out thanks so much
This works in my 1994 f150 they blink slow but they work. Just went to all LED lights inside and out
Thank you very much sir, your video was very helpful short and to the point and it helped me out a lot
Liked because of the Godzilla part at the end.
Thank you.I am running into the same issue on my motorcycle that has the same relay
Did your turn signals and hazards work when your headlights were off though? Mine only work when the headlights are off think it’s the flasher or something else? 98 k1500
Did you ever fix this problem? If you read my comment above having the same problem with a little different.
Thank its work I had the same problem on Old Delta 88
But do they flash while the lights are burning. My lights work but when the lights are on the turnsignal won't work but when the lights are off I have turn signals
How did You solve?
@lamontmoore654 I had to get a led flasher and put in. The led doesn't pull as much power, and the original flasher needs that pull to work. Led flasher. Problem solved. Well, it fixed my 85 firebird
I have a 1985 c10 I put the same thing in my truck but it only has one single flasher for both turn and hazzards but only the hazzards work turn signals still don’t
U ever figure out what it was ?
So my flashers work but turn signals do not i changed a broken socket were i had a parking light out
You’re awesome! Thank you.
Ok, so I installed led turn, park, tail and brake bulbs and also two of the updated relays to make this all work. Everything worked like a charm at first. I popped the hazards on and they worked at first also, but stopped working and now my brake lights are dim unless I have the parking lights on as well. I switched relays to make sure I don’t blow one, but it’s still the same.
Any ideas?
Got a 03 ram 1500. Put led front bulbs and led front blinkers. The headlights are fine but the blinkers don't even blink. They do have the slightest most unnoticeable strobe though like they want to blink, a quarter of a second like the blinker flickers instead of blinking I don't know. Have fast blinkers too . Maybe stock blinkers?
It kinda does sound like the same problem I had. I don't know anything about Rams, but could it also have one of those old flasher style relays? If yes, finding a suitable replacement that can support LEDs might help.
Had the same flasher on my 85 C10 didn't work, tried a pacific with a ground flasher fixed it ...but side markers didn't work correctly, resisters on side markers I suppose?
Thanks for the video! Do the signals and hazards still work when you turn your head lights on?
You're welcome! Yes, at least in mine they still did.
That is the problem I have. When I have the marker lights on I have hyperflashing with my turn signal but my four ways work perfectly.
@@luvspus69 from what I remember there are three identical round relay modules in total, and I might've swapped two of them to the new style. Swap the new and old one back and forth and if the hyper flash jumps over you know you need a second one.
On my 1983 Chevy c10 I have the same problem
Anyone find a solution to this? It’s only on the rear taillights stay solid front flashes when signal marker lights off everything works fine
I have the novita ll552 and it doesn't make a difference, they won't work with the stock one and they won't work with this one, before they were very slow to work when they had the original bulbs, now I'm just on manual mode LOL 🤔
Thanks for posting the video though. My turn signal journey continues to be fubar😬
bootstrappin doesn't understand that if you have all LED's you can't drive them with a 2-wire flasher - you need a 3-wire to sink the return path for the flasher circuit since LED's that are off don't pass any current - he probably has a dashboard incandescent bulb still in the circuit. buy a 2-wire electronic flasher that has an extra ground wire on a spade connection and it'll work fine for you.
Lol, can totally relate
@@ryanjohnson6654 is that called a non load flasher?
2001 C5 Corvette. i replaced the front bulbs with LED's because the heat was melting the housings. After replacing all four rear 3056's w/ LED's, I got hyperflash. I installed the relay
and all is well except... When the tail lights are on the brake lights work fine, yet when
I use the turn signals the rears light up but don't flash and the fronts do!?? Ideas?
You got 2 ll552...on my 86 C10 only one I have...still nothing
So my k10 is a little weird. Whenever I signal right it looks like my hazards come on. When i signal left, it’s normal. Whenever I turn my lights on and try to signal, it just pauses like this, gonna tru that relay you tried for that issue. But the right signal is still a little weird
Are you using resistors on the signal wires?
No, the signal unit takes care of everything
turn your lights on and try it
I have run into same problem on 94 c1500 I wonder if they have a flasher for it
Wouldn't be surprised if they used the same part on the GMT generation you have.
So you put 2 552 flashers in each location
Yes
Mine are not working...hazard and new led signals front and rear
So when I have my Lights on, and go to use the signal, it will only stay on solid. But when my lights are off, signal works fine. Any ideas? For 1985 Chevy C10 LED tail lights. And with your part installed
Ooh, electrical gremlin, how fun. Usually that's an indication of a faulty ground, or a short somewhere. These videos are quite useful in hunting the problem down, but it'll usually boil down to a bad ground wire, bad ground connection to the frame of the truck, or a bad connection at any of your lights:

I put LED lights in my 67 with LED flashers and the lights still stay on. Do you think I should put in led reseters?
I'm not sure what an LED resetter is. My guess for why it's not working is poor grounds or voltage. Make sure that you get a clean 12V or thereabouts where you're plugging the flasher into your fusebox.
Awesome video, I don't know if it's what I need or not. Perhaps you can help? Have a 71 K5 Blazer I put aftermarket LED turn signals in the front because the old style literally disintegrated. Now get this, when I hook up the the wires to the turn signal lights below the bumper, everything works well as long as I don't turn on the parking lights. When I do there's no power or flash when the turn signals are on, only in the front. When I hook the same led aftermarket lights up to the marker lights on the side of the vehicle everything works well as long as I turn on the parking lights. So it's exactly the opposite. I forgot to mention, I have incandescent in the back but the back up lights are LED What the heck would cause this? I spent 4 hours researching this and I haven't found this problem from anybody yet. Any help would greatly be appreciated before I start just replacing parts.
The old style relay doesn't work very well for LED lights, so I would start there. Also, check all your grounds - I also had to chase bizarre electrical gremlins only to eventually find a really ratty/rusted out set of grounds. My K10 had a ground point in the back on the frame, don't know if that would be the same for the Blazer.
@@Bootstrappin wow, thank you so much for responding so quickly. Yeah it's funny you say that, I ground all my aftermarket lights backup camera etc to that grounding area in the back that covers the fuel lines. Yeah, I'm going to put a different flasher in there. Would you suggest that no load flasher or the traditional LED flasher?
@@poolman8676 I can't say for 100%, but that 552 Tridon flasher I have in the description is what I used, and it seemed to solve my blinker issue -- and I had a mix of both LEDs and incandescent lights on it.
@@Bootstrappin okay, I'll try it. Thanks again
@@poolman8676 did you ever figure out your issue?
I have a 2008 Hyundai accent and the turn signal/hazards do not work. They do not light, blink, nothing at all. I have checked the fuses, I have changed the relay, the bulbs are good. I can't figure out what the problem is, any suggestions?
You may need a new hazard switch. Read this thread, particularly post #8: www.hyundai-forums.com/threads/new-flasher-fuses-still-no-turn-signals-or-hazard-lights.102674/
Post #14 has the schematic diagram
Once I pulled the original one, I lost power to my entire truck. What do I do now
Uhh put the original one back? But if that doesn't work, maybe something got dislodged as you were pulling it out?
Buy some nice walking shoes?
Do you still get the clicking noise with the new relay? I've seen a number of other folks online swap out their relay for an LED one and does fix the hyperflash, but then their blinkers are completely silent. I know it sounds silly to ask but, I'm just curious
It depends on the relay you buy. The reason the old one clicked is because the relay was mechanical. With these new ones they are digital/solid state and won't make a noise. So you have to find one that 'simulates' the clicking sound. The Novita I bought does, should have it at your local car parts store.
Sounds like anime Fist of the North Star
It is lol
Anyone else recognize the audio?
