Most of them that you are playing now have been finished for a decade now, and just being discovered in mass now. In a an interview they were joking around about talking about certain ROM hacks that they only talked about out of context. They are perfectly aware of what the players base thinks of their actions that they are doing to the pokemon games, and have an answer prepared for everything and every question that they might have. They made their point pretty clear when they were questioned out of interview context about why Sword and Shield had a limited pokedex in the game. To awnswr your question about whether or not Rotom will have any more forms; they already said in another interview that took place before Heart Gold and Soul Silver came out, I believe, they were going to not make any more forms of Rotom and wanted to go in a completely different direction. “a simplified clone” is essentially a child lmao
when you think about it, mew’s mere existence is a magnificent/miraculous. It was was designed within such a small pocket of the games code, like an “embrycode”
Being a simplified clone of Mewtwo is basically being Mewtwo’s child means it pre-volutes Mewtwo, but it was designed afterwards. It’s such a beautiful and mind blowing thing if you really think about it
+that part about the movie was heart warmin

It might just be coincidence, but it's fitting that an F4 Phantom is one of the main inspirations for Mew, because it's referred to as the Phantom Pokemon in the Pokemon Pocket Monsters manga. This video was fantastic for clearing up the discrepancies in the Mew origin story, and it leaves me with an even greater appreciation for the design process behind my favorite monster of all time. I'm shocked by just how much content, especially interviews, is locked behind the language barrier, and I'm glad that the international fanbase is finally able to access that information. I think the real world history of these games is just as fascinating as the fictional stories the games tell.

This was absolutely amazing. I love how Mew came to life thanks to contribution of so many people lol. From the idea of one, to the first form of one, to the perfectioning of another, to the personality of a whole other. And the result is undoubtedly amazing. The last metaphor made me emotional lol really warmed my heart.
And the comparison to the original dragon is also pretty interesting to make yeah, even though the equivalent Mon to Mewtwo in those games is Genesect, which we also never saw the original form of, or really anything about his creation (unless I'm missing something, I don't remember them even showing anything about him in the movies). The original dragon will also surely exist one day.
