IK Foam Pro 2 review 2023

- Hello, welcome back to the channel, thanks for tuning in as always. In this video I am looking at the IK Foamer Pro 2 and trying it out with autoglym snow foam, bilt hamber surfex hd and AD just wheels. This was my first try. I always try them out and record at the same time. I don't pre test. I have to say. I was genuinely really impressed with the delivery of surfex and especially just wheels. I'll have to play with the ratio's for snow foam but in all, a great little product. I'll continue to use it for the first stage of detailing, the wheels.

I've bought some Autoglanz Foam+ Booster to experiment with adding foaminess, cos why not?. Added some to ValetPro Interior Cleaner and used the Foamer and its superb. Door mat clean!
And added to Flash and cleaned the shower!
Also did BH Touch-on using the Foamer. Bloody love that gizmo!

Good job mate, i have the same foamer and really like it. Its a massive improvement on the version 1.

The valves are in the hose not the tip of the sprayer
Hello. Thanks for watching and thanks for taking the time to comment. I don’t really understand what you mean. I just referenced the various tips at the start of the video. Some for wetter foam and some for drier foam. If I missed something else or miss quoted something I apologise. Foam felts inside to assist foam generation. Nice profile pic by the way.

@@rev-you1975 No, the coloured tips go inside the unit at the top of the suction tube where the cleraning mix goes up, not the front nozzle. Read the instructions before giving a tutorial please

Hello. That’s a shame. What have you tried putting through it? Bilt hamber auto foam. 10%. 500ml water 50ml product should provide a good foam. If not try the drier pick up tip supplied in the box. There are of course other products that work well but auto foam is a good dependable benchmark.
Surfex HD. Will trial with Auto Foam and different nozzle. Thanks for response.
No problem. Good luck. I had good results with surfex too. Autobrite direct just wheels was the stand out surprise for me. Hardly any product required (really concentrated). More foam than surfex. Wonderful cleaning power.
You definitely need the air compressor valve and a battery air compressor.

They come with air valves now. I can't imagine pumping these things 40 times. Jesus
Yes. I saw a review of one on here recently. Little mini pump. Looked good.
The manual pumping is pretty easy though to be fair.
