    I've found a new appreciation for her that I don't think I would have had otherwise. I think we as a society need to offer acceptance and more people celebrating all aspects of our lives.

    The documentary was so amazing! It was raw, brave and so honest. Selma's outlook and the way she has faced MS is courageous! Thank you beautiful lady for being such a beacon of light for me as I have battled my own health journey over the last few months. I hope she continues to thrive and I wish her so much happiness 😊

    I would love meet Selma and was a fan of he before she told her story. I am a music teacher, vocalist and performer so when I was diagnosed with MS this past year, I like many wondered what my story would be and how this journey would unfold. I am a Mom, too and this documentary is the most real, honest, and beautiful experience and I have seen it multiple times. It is truly a gift to the world and she makes me know it will be okay. I hope to have the chance to meet her and I can't wait to see her on the big screen and I know she has so much more ahead of her as far as acting. I believe she can do anything. I too, wanted to speak to a Michael J. Fox when I got this diagnosis and I am also a loner and MS makes it easy to hide from the world. This gives new perspective and hope so I am extremely grateful that she was so fearless and honest with showing her story.

    Watching how a women living a life as mom, not actress! Doing all she can to survive for herself and her child. Peeling all back! As a mom
    She revealed so many fears. Her highs and lows with her mother. Her challenges with treatment was so revealing. My dear friend died of cancer and I sat with with her threw almost all her treatments , it awoke in me the heartache,that I try to bury . Heath is taken for granted till we are faced ,
    With such challenges.

    Just watched this documentary and was BLOWN AWAY!!! Omg! So much respect for her and all that she’s been through!! I was always a fan of Selma as and actress but now I’m even a bigger fan of hers as a person! I just can’t believe her bravery for putting something so personal and painful out there! Not only heartbreaking to watch but SO inspiring!! I will never hear MS and think of it in the same way. I pray that she continues to improve and is around for a long time to have a lifetime of memories with her son and loved ones. Selma is changing lives by putting this out there. God bless you! 🙏🏻💗

    She is the realist movie star I've ever watched! She hid her sickness for so long not knowing what it was that was causing her real problems! Selma showed so much heart and soul! I appreciate watching her battle for her life back. With me having two types of lupus, I understand how she feels on so many different levels!

    Where can I watch the documentary?? Pls, sb tell me!
    Is there justice in life?? Murderers living happily and healthy. Then there are ultra intelligent and kind people having to suffer unbearably. Why??? What for? The human body is so ridiculously weak, and it's so scary to know that it can snap any time.
    Salma keep up! My heart is with you. You helped me a lot to deal with my condition. Wish you all the best. I'll pray to a God I don't really believe in that all your dreams come true!

    Did Selma say that she is growing new “lesions” now? Was she joking, or did she mean that she will be getting more MS lesions in her brain? On one hand, it sounded like she was in real remission from the disease, but when she made that statement at the very end (Rachel and Selma laughed)… Can anyone answer this, please?

    • @kvm75
      @kvm75 Před 2 lety +9

      She said she’s not getting new lesions at the moment but their is always a possibility they she will get new lesions. I really hope she doesn’t and that she beat MS. I have ms but not as aggressive as she had it.

      D: yes, this is how MS progresses. New damage occurs. Comparing scans over time, she has seen either old ones grow or new ones appear. Remission and slowed progression aren't the same, but they can appear to look like the same thing in a person. Your scans and your neurological testing tell the story.
