Iron is also renewable via gnat mounds if you don't like mining killer robots.
Stealing without the swashy is better in my opinion since you can farm krampus that way

Glitch in hamlet: if you attack a shopkeeper but leave the building quickly after hitting once and going back in the guards won't come and you can kill the shopkeeper and steal stuff

How to make money with around 0 effort in Hamlet:
1. Buy Berries from grocery store (1 Oinc each)
2. Find old berry guy
3. Give him the berries (4 Oincs per berry)
4. Repeat forever

Hey, thanks for the tips, James. Your videos keep inspiring me to play Hamlet, despite how infuriating the game gets sometimes. Btw, are you teasing us with some Hollow Knight content at the end? ;) Well, don't mind if I do. Look forward to it.
Oh, and speaking of cornering the bandit, yesterday I found a very low tech method of doing it during lush season. When he attacked me in town, I lured him to some brambles that grew just outside and formed sort of a room with one entrance. I let him swing at me inside that room, dodged and hit him, standing near the entrance. He began running in the opposite direction, hugging the wall of brambles. I had to hit him a few more times, dodging his attacks and letting him focus on fleeing instead of fighting, before he accepted his defeat and gifted me with his Zoro hat.
You have to hit him with a mouse click though, because otherwise you might hit the brambles instead, breaking the wall and letting him loose. Hope this method may be of some help to those who don't feel like using exploits, but don't have enough stone for walls either. :)
Oh, and btw, watching your stream recordings I got a feeling that picking exotic flowers to prevent glowflies from spawning might have been in vain, since you still got plenty of rabid beetle chasing you. Also, idk if latest patches fix this, but a couple weeks ago glowflies spawned like crazy close to and during full moon, so you could stand near some flowers and farm not only light bulbs, but Krampus as well, and pretty fast at that.
rabid beetles spawn naturally from the giant trees in forest, so there really is no way to completely get rid of them. still, picking flower does help a bit.

About rabid beetles glowflies only cocoon when you're on screen and they will despawn after you leave, the rabid beetles that spawn in the jungle are from the giant vines not flowers
both actually, though ones spawning from giant vines are also problematic. But less the better always

One time a bandit was chasing me so i went to the guards to help me they didnt do anything then the bandit punched me and made me drop my coins and the guards stole my coins and didnt attack the bandit and he got away

Actually iron hulks aren't the only infinite source of iron. Gnat swarm mounds can drop iron and gnat swarms will rebuild their mounds once destroyed and if I'm correct they'll even respawn if they have a mound built. Good video though!

Tip: get disarming tools to use on traps to get darts. then using darts, you can easily kill the masked pig.

I couldn't find any bandits now even though I was carrying like 1,000 oincs. I don't know why.

If you get into the city hall and wait until the night comes the owner of it will fall asleep and you can steal his stuff

What happens to the items when a chest gets burned down ? I literally went away from my base for a minute in summer and come back and everything is burned down
items are kept safe, only the chest burns
@@JamesBucket Are you sure? All stacks of wood didnt drop after the chest got burned...? I think all flamable items got burned but others just dropped
