When you are a devoted parent and give your child quality life, you won't have time to do it all. That's called prioritizing your family. I'm never ahead, and I always fall behind on holiday plans. ❤🌲❤🌲
It didn't get easier for me until my kid started school but being as flexible and gentle on yourself during this time is gonna help so much. It's hard as hell to do but it is doable. You got this!

Honestly it could just be me but this year's Christmas holiday is going so fast that I'm not even feeling the merry spirit like I usually do around this time. Your vlogmas videos help me not forget it's December that and the freezing cold. Always appreciate what you upload for us and love seeing Lucien getting so big.
my kids are 12 and 9 this year, and I can definitely say that the first couple Baby Years were years that I did not have focus on decorating, doing holidays, etc. Once they were both out of that "up multiple times per night", need all your focus while they're awake, stages I was able to establish routines again and decorate, do my hobbies, etc.
Also once you're sleeping better (when Little Ones are sleeping longer, less teething etc) you start being able to keep track of time again I promise! 🎄🖤
I appreciate the real momness! So many moms on social media make it all look so easy. I can relate to this! It's so frustrating, at this stage, but it does pass. Just take lots of pictures and video of that baby (for yourself!)

Your feelings are totally valid btw. When you become a mom , time goes by the fastest ! I work full time and the little time I get with my son, FLIES by. Just take it all in, and remember you are doing your best. You're a great mom. We all miss you of course, but totally understand time w Lucian comes first! You are rockin this out and you have a whole spooky family that has your back always !

I just finished decorating yesterday, and I think a lot of people were late this year getting it all together. 😂😂
And I think we all hear “take the time out to enjoy the holidays,” but we all have requirements of us, and we feel like we have to meet those requirements first before enjoying anything. I’m at the point where I’m trying to lay boundaries because I can’t meet ALL the requirements and enjoy anything at all! I think we all need to give ourselves a break!
Those pictures turned out so beautiful! Mom life is intense. You learn to just be ok with getting 1 or 2 things done in a day and give yourself grace. I'm 2.5 yrs in and still learning. ❤
Lady.. you have recently created a new life, which is the single most important (and time consuming 😂) thing a human can do. Do not feel bad for running behind, not being active on social media or anything other than being with your family and being an amazing mummy. Don’t put unnecessary pressure on yourself. We will all be here (and are) when you can create and upload content. The fact that you’ve kept up such a big video posting amount since giving birth fullstop is enough. Take time out if needed, you are a mum and that is top priority! 💕💕💕
P.S.. As an English ghoul I very much appreciate your love for the great British bake off. I have watched it every year without fail and it’s such a lovely show.
It seems like maybe it doesn’t get released as early outside of the UK as this years season finished last month over here. I wish it was on more than once a year!

Baby Lucian is such a little sweet heart. Not many gothmas decorating videos this year guess people are busy. I haven't bought any new decor just spending money on presents and dinners out. Merry Christmas to you and the family your pictures turned out great.

The first year is very difficult. It gets better & you get your independence back as they gain their own. Bittersweet. ❤
The thing that was most helpful with my productivity as a stay-at-home mom with a baby was sleep training. When the baby has a schedule, it’s easier to plan ahead. I made tons of to-do lists so I wouldn’t forget and planned ahead according to nap schedules. Overall, go easy on yourself and just do your best!
I feel that imbalance even tho I don’t have a kid but like the struggle to find the balance between responsibility and passions
THISS!!! Even before Lucian this balance was hard. Responsibilities are definitely soul suckers - there's not much energy left for the fun stuff!

I just had my second baby in September and have been on maternity leave for 3 months…time really does fly whenever you’re at home taking care of a baby 24/7. I can’t believe how fast 3 months has gone and I haven’t gotten ANYTHING done during my time off other than care for him. I had so many plans of things I wanted to do while I was off work but…nope. I wake up and blink and it’s 7pm. 😂 And I find myself stressing out about how fast time goes every single day so I was totally relating to you while you were talking about it. I think seeing how much your baby grows right in front of your eyes is a crazy visual representation of how quickly time passes. It’s amazing to see them grow, but sad to know they’ll never be as small as they were again. 🥹
I’m tearing up reading this cuz I relate so much. Everyone seems to warn about how hard motherhood is and the lack of sleep and all that, but not one soul warned me about how absolutely heartbreaking it is to watch each day pass knowing they will be another day older, yet be absolutely so proud and happy to see their newest milestones. Congrats one your new addition! Hope you enjoy your holiday season with your sweet family ❤

@@JadeTheLibra The best part of parenthood is watching your babies grow up and develop their own little personalities. 🥹 My oldest will be 2 in March and I absolutely love hearing him talk. It’s still so crazy to me that he’s a big brother and walking and talking…because it feels like I just had him. It definitely flies by but I try to remind myself to slow down and really soak up all of the little everyday moments with my babies. Nobody prepared me for this part of motherhood, either. 🥹 I hope you have a wonderful holiday season with your family!🖤

Great to see you and yours, Jade! The pictures are beautiful! Parenting a baby is very time consuming. You won't be able to get everything done. However, I do have a few suggestions that may help. We had a bouncer baby chair. It has a little seat belt and it bounces whenever the baby moves his arms or legs. I would set it up anywhere I was working and talk and touch my babies as frequently as my task would allow me to. It really helped. Also, when he gets a bit older his walker will allow him to go where he wants and explore a bit. My first baby often cried for no reason that I could fathom. It wasn't until he got old enough to use his walker that I figured out that he wanted to see and touch everything in the house. This same little guy learned how to walk later than other babies,
Wasn’t Halloween like yesterday??😂seriously time just flew by this year I feel like we just saw the first pumpkin and now it’s Christmas in eight days??? My plan is to sleep the whole month of January 😂so much pressure to decorate undecorate and then do it again…on top of all the other adulting stuff it’s a lot but we get through it and it’s all worth it when you look back you won’t remember being tired but will remember all the good things with baby Lucian with Neens and having your Mom take pictures in the park which were amazing by the way!! Hang in there ghoul!!

I feel everything you said during the chit chat at the end. It’s so hard to get things done and it gets a lot harder when they go from infant to toddler (basically when they are mobile) lol. When they go to school it gets a lot easier. Mine stopped napping at 2 and a half, so it was non stop all day, but I wouldn’t trade it for the world. Enjoy this time and do what you need to do. The first year was my favorite and the first 5 years flew by so fast!
First off, I’m so glad you’re enjoying motherhood, it’s seriously the best. Second, toooootally normal, your feelings about motherhood and trying to find time to do anything at all. I had no idea what I was doing with my first, and felt like I was drowning in what I perceived as unproductive time that was flying by, and was in complete awe of people who get things done with more than ONE kid?! lol. It gets better, I promise! It all comes together when you and baby find your groove. It especially helps when they start napping more consistently. Sending you creative and spooky vibes!🖤
I understand everything you are saying. I got the chance to stay home with all four of my kids and the balance was such a struggle! Being a mom is a wonderful experience but it can also feel really isolating and of course exhausting! You are not alone!
ROTFLMAO when the foam dropped! About Lucien, you guys should look into baby led feeding. Our goblin was gnawing on turkey legs during Thanksgiving last year at 6mo. Now he's such a good eater!

I completely understand what your saying about having time for anything and also wanting to enjoy time with your little one. 100% went through that and was still kinda going through it, and my little one just turned two. But I love my life now that my little girl is in it. It is a hard balance. Hang in there.

The moms i know only get things done when they have help. Some of my friends have babysitters 2 times a week for a few hours. Thats enough to get two blocks of work. It can help❤

I cannot even express how challenging the balance of life is with a baby/toddler!! I am in graduate school and not working/staying home with my 20 month old (year and a half plus - I hate that I am that person lol) but trying to figure out how to be present at all times in whatever I am doing at the time is bananas! Honestly I figure if you are present wherever you are then you’re doing what you need to be which is exactly what it sounds like you are doing! You are rocking it so most important is to take time to enjoy yourself and relax!
🤣 my oldest is a senior in high school and I am still going 😱 where is the time going, and I am still playing catch up, enjoy those baby days because they are gone in a blink 😢

Well, I hate to tell you, but my kids slept through the night (8-10 hrs.) from around the time they were 3-4 weeks old. Being an insomniac, that was a drag for me because I always just got an hour or two of sleep so I was actually bored. I actually took my first one to the doctor and told him something was wrong because babies aren't supposed to sleep that much! They then took two hour naps during the day. So I never felt "tired" and always got everything done like normal. Even though I'm used to no sleep and always have kind of laughed at people who claimed they were exhausted because they only got 8 hours of sleep, I feel for the moms who aren't used to it. Happy to say I will be 60 in a few months and now get 3-4 hours of sleep, which is a LOT for me. Long story longer, everybody is different and you do what you can when you can, Lucian is a happy baby and that's a big win!!
Omg you lucky duck!!!!! Multiple good sleepers?! I hope I get the same!! What’s wild is Lucian was the same way as a newborn! Everyone said the newborn stage was so hard, but Lucian slept like a dream from a few weeks old til he was 4 months old! I got so much done! The 4 month sleep regression and teething hit us HARD! He’s still a great napper and lets me know when he’s tired and is so good about it, but whew those night where he’s waking up every 2 hours got me good! He’s now sleeping 6-7 hour stretches and honestly I feel fully rested on those nights 😂 I feel like this is the one instance where insomnia could come in handy! I had it really bad in pregnancy so maybe when I have my next one it will benefit me since I’m not sleeping much when pregnant anyway 😂😂😂 Anyway, hope you and your family have an amazing holiday season! 🖤

This is my first year decorating for Yule. I have some Krampus stuff because I’m German and some traditional in your face and I love it. I made a garland of fallen leaves and made a cinnamon stick pentacle.

Girl, enjoy your life and everything you have offline. If filming and sharing your life makes you happy then do it, but please don't feel pressure to share things online at all. Social media (especially Instagram) is an absolute dead zone anyway🖤 I found the pressure to share life online really took away from enjoying real life in the moment, so it was very freeing to let go of that mindset.
