Awww let us know how much you found Mike....
Cheers..
13.28 $ is my wager any takers?????
He says between 20 and 30 dollars
Hey Mike, you can't leave us hanging like this. You have to tell how much you found in change. We were along with you for the ride, you have to let us know. See you soon.
Sorry about that. I didn’t get a total tally as I just added it to my coin bucket but based off what I got I’d say $20-$30 total combined from today’s video and all the change that fell out last night. Again, I’m sorry about that. I’ll make sure I keep count next time.
@@MikeTheScavenger crazy to think but change that was in the dryer might paid for what it cost in fual driving around dumpsters and curbsides
That dryer was paying off better than Vegas!!!!
@@MikeTheScavenger Hey Mike, I was only messing around with you. It"s none of my business what you have. lol I enjoy watching you and what you find. Keep on picking and be safe.
@@MikeTheScavenger hope you got the dimes that fell on the driveway!
Mike, you should take all of the dryers that you find apart. When I was doing appliance repair I would find lots of money ( coins and paper). I found a set of wedding rings and other jewelry. The money I found over the course of a year I found enough to pay for my vacation to Florida for 2 weeks.
no lost socks were found, the mystery continues
They turn into lint
Sounded like a slot machine spitting out those coins
@@patrickblock2477 Lol, I know, right (IKR)...
Mike remember that time you found all those rolled coins in the trash ? So this is your second largest amount of money from the trash & treasure.
I hope you and your family have a good weekend.
Dang!!! I’d be singing that song, “I got a little change in my pocket...going jing a ling a ling!!” Hahaha
I'm glad you're doing this video. I thought I was doing pretty good at cleaning out my dryer, but nope. I see I should also, take off the back panel an vacuum back there as well. A major fire hazard. Thanks for this video.
I was just thinking the same thing about change being more than what dryer was worth as scrap just as you said that. Thanks for the scrapping and videos on deconstruction. Stay safe we all need you.
Those dryer tubs make for an excellent fire pit enclosure just drill some holes if there's none on the side
some of the modern washers use plastic ones
I never realized my dryer was a slot machine in disguise!
Lo going to McDonalds tonight.
Its a slot machine trapped in a dryers body.
My neighbor had 3 kids and never checked the pockets. One of em had left crayons in, it went through the dryer and was a bright colorful mess. I can't believe she even showed me 😂🤣
Gosh, I was waiting for you to find all the socks lost over time! 😄😄 Thanks for opening the dryer. Stay safe and GOD bless
How much did you get in total? Including what fell out the night before?
inquiring minds want to know:) what was the total Mike :D
In comment above he said he didn't count it and tossed it all in his coin bucket. But he guessed $20-30!
@@lorihanlon2525 thanks! I didn’t catch that. That’s pretty cool!
Imagine what came out in the washer, before being thrown in the dryer.
If you ever get a chance to pull up the agitator on most washers, especially Speed Queen, you will find money underneath with caked detergent holding it place
As you found out, the drums come out when you cut the belt, makes it so much easier to access the rest. And the drums I've been able to sell for $20 - $35 for planters or fire pit rings. Watch the motors of the fairly modern one, as they tend to only have copper plated aluminium windings, so not worth taking out. There is a small motor in the controls, and it has some easy to access copper. Have a video how to easily disassemble them, if you need it.
As a former appliance repair guy I never understood and still don't Why you guys wouldn't sell me washers and dryers off your truck for$20 when you're only going to get$6 plus if you gave me your numbers you could have My scrap for free after I reconditioned the good ones & scavenged the parts I needed I guess it bothers you guys that we get$150-$175 for them after we fix them you'd rather get$5 or &6 dollars most of you guys make no sense
@@ericschulze5641 Personally, I'd have been happy to sell them for $20 US a unit...but there was no one around here buying used washers (unless they were functioning well) when I was at the height of my scrapping. Sure Mike would go for that sort of deal as you described, also, if he had the opportunity/connection to. All depends on the attitude of the scrapper themselves. Everyone is different.
Awesome job Mike! I was going crazy wondering how much you would find. Those dryer motors can be VERY handy for powering your wire stripping!!
Sweet baby Jesus and all that is holy, please give us the total of all the change found. The suspense is killing us Mike. 🙏🙏🙏
I did this 2 years ago found $11 and change but had to take the entire dryer apart
I’m gonna have to scrap my own dryer when it dies!!!! That was cool!!!
I used to love going to the wrecking yard and digging in the old cars for change when I was a kid! Enjoyed the video! Thanks
Thankyou for making the video it's fun and interesting watching you taking things like this apart
Now that’s clean money for sure !!!
Thank you very much for this video, it was fun watching all that change come out.
I learned I should take a moment to clean my dryer.
Glad you hit the jackpot, Mike!!
Don't really care how much change is in there just love to watch you take things apart lol stay safe stay blessed
Nice haul! The best I ever did in a dryer was $66.45. I couldn't believe how much change can fit in a dryer!
Greetings Mike. Canadian treasure hunter found almost $28 recently in a washer/dryer. This is amazing. They probably thought they were @the laundromat. Almost the amount of the scrap load. We definitely have to get more metal treasures. PLEASE be CAREFUL dealing with the treasures & flip flops on. We can't have you hurt/injured. GOD BLESS you always
New meaning of pennies from heaven
Makes a pleasant "change" this video 😂👍
That is great , that’s better and quicker then metal detecting. Good job 👍.
Simply amazing!
Couldn't wait to see this video👌
Hmm, perhaps you should micro scrap all the dryers you get. Motor, wires, more room in Dottie, and that Cheddar! Love ya videos. Have a most excellent day.
It’s Clean money so that’s great.😱😂🤣🤪😜
LOVED this! Whenever I see a scrapper hauling away a dryer I wish they'd check it for coins before dumping it.
Cool man, I have found a lot of change falling out of dryers over the years while scrapping but never seen nothing like that in a single dryer.....thanks for sharing
There are some carnival rides that shake the coins out of our pockets too - LOL
it is the little things like not checking your pockets, that shows you how lazy people are.
Love your videos Mike.Stay Safe.
Your Rich
Thanks Mike!
Should have a contest. Whoever guesses the amount gets a t shirt.
13.28 $ is my wager any takers?????
$15.10 is my guess lol
$21.94
24.56
$25.26
I strip out all of the dryers I get, takes 10 Min's and keep the motors, nice little bit of copper in each one.
Nice little score on the coins, well done
Brad
It was just fun watching those coins drop from the dryer on the video I saw on Facebook. Literal jackpot!
I just love the magic!
I worked for sears for 14 years delivering appliances. In total I found about $400 in change. The biggest payout for a single dryer was one diamond wedding ring and 3 gold necklaces and one silver necklace. The change was around 20 bucks. I returned the jewellery to the original owner, they were so ecstatic that they gave me an extra 50 bucks!
Damn! I’m gonna be checking dryers from now on! Nice!
So much of a bonus did you get from the dryer 😉👏
whoever does not honor the cent, is unprofitable. 👍
Oh my goodness you're a lucky man finding all that change in the dryer. I should be so lucky lol. Have a great day 😊
Great finds mike! Steak dinner for sure!
Go back and ask for the washer 😂
Looks like you can retire now, Mike! Would love to know how much you found. If you go back to their house and they have a couch sitting out front, take it! They probably have a bunch of coins in the cushions!
My Goodness! Wouldn’t you hear all that racket when drying your clothes? THAT HAD TO BE SUPER LOUD! Congratulations 🎉 Happy you got all that cold hard change! LOL! Gotta be strong! 💪
I'm doubtful the coins would be in any moving parts of the dryer. Looks like they were in the cabinet.
"SNIBB' ITZZ "...excellent
An impressive bonus. Congrats.
Teaser, go on tell us. Love the River/Waterfall
"Change is gonna come...yes it will".
I live in Michigan I love your channel and it's crazy how much people leave their change in their I found two pockets full of changed once in dryer
Dryer had to have its own room, had to sound like a rock tumbler!
🙋♀️ scrap and dumpster diving. It is hard work but pays off worth it. Enjoy my time watching. 🤠🤑🤣💯✌
That is a new way to launder money :) I have never seen that much change come out of a machine like that.......
That was nice!
Brilliant Mike your the man bro 👏
Dang ole laundry warmer paying off bettern the slots in Deadwood!!! 🤣🤣🤣🤑🤑🤑
That was awesome...makes us think there's not much to a dryer....sure would hate being without one though. Lol
Who watched till end to see how much it was in total with last nights pocket full 😆
Score...im a micro scrapper , everything I find I take it apart. You get more money that way , like that dryer. You can get an electric motor , some wire and some shredder feed all from one object. AC units are the best , they got copper , and electric motor , wire , compressor , the copper / aluminium reefers and shredder feed. All on one package. 🤘🤘and those drums from dryers you can make a pretty awesome burn pitt out of them.
Good job mike
Dang Mike you hit a lick today 😂😂 you should be able to get a surf n turf combo at Red Lobster tween The cash and then the scrap not to mention the snippets lol. As always good luck and God Bless.
Wow all that plus the pocket full last night nice !!!!!
Nice I like it!!
Mike if you found that dryer in Canada, there would be loonies and twoonies too! I saw one scraper get $23 before and thought that was an insane amount of money to find in a dryer. They didn’t find the amount of coins you did, cause if they did it would have been well over $100. 👍👍👍😁🇨🇦
Good job.
There is change in the plastic fins in the drum too
LOL -you need a counting machine for all that change!!
Money, money, money--MONEY yes!!!
You have "Laundered" money on your hands. That is just insane on how much change you have found.
🤩 wow 🤩
im new to your channel you are awesome good job !!! God bless you and your family and keep up the great job 🥰🥰
some any of those dimes or quarters 1964 and earlier are 90% silver! Would love to find some change like that!!
Jackpot 🎰
Hey Mike, you figured out what broke their dryer. Lol. If they cleaned all the change out of it they could've paid the repair bill to fix the dryer. Lol.
Good job Mike the scavenger
Need another scrap run!
SLOT MACHINE!🤣😂🤣
Thats nice👍👍👍👍
You should get into appliance repair. A lot of those washers and dryers people throw out there is nothing major wrong with them. A broken belt or a baby sock caught in the drain tube. A little cleaning and a few bucks in parts and you can resell it for $75 or $100 easily. Also those perforated metal washer and dryer drums people at least out here on the west coast will buy them for $25 each or more just to use for a burn barrel for camping since they throw off a lot of heat, keep coals, sparks and nails contained for fire safety and the environment cleaner rather than digging fire pits and scorching rocks and such. I live off grid in the desert with solar power and I scrounged a nice Kenmore washer with a baby sock caught in the drain. Removed the sock, cleaned it and installed it under the nose of my 5th wheel for a hillbilly wash station. I scarfed a gas dryer too and had to replace the belt and fabricate a dial for it. It sits out there as well and is hooked up to a propane bottle. Both work fine.
Made me wanna go and shake my dryer LOL!!!
My Whirlpool dryer is about 20 years old and still running strong. i can see why there can be that much accumulation of change in those old dryers.
I used to haul for an appliance company. I have taken as much as $156.83 from a dryer before. Including 20s,10s,5s,1s,and lots of change. I actually saved it all in a 5 gallon jug and started a 2nd. Paid for Christmas every year.
Solved the lack of change for the US. Lol.
Awesome lucky you
OMG!! That’s a lot of coin!!
Whoa!
Holy moly , if I would of known this , I would of payed more attention to all of dryer’s that I have scraped, loll, do they all have coins in them ,??!! Nice , nice job thanks BigAl California.
Yo mike you’re hit the jackpot 🎰 beer money 🍺way to go 🤙
If you get a good price for scrap it means you got the best of both world and a bonus as well 🌹🎊
