During the week. Mon - wednesday you should probably do coco park or jungle boogie offline AFTER the x5 bonus disappears (wimps time) as you'll get 40coins every 1:30. 1min 30seconds. Vs electron avenue taking 3:50 to finish, average. You'll bank on time during the week. On the weekend, which it is now, idk what the best method is because you get double the amount just by being online but it takes time to find matches. If you have a friend or multiple friends you should probably do private matches as those will ensure you get the most out of your time. Do electron Avenue or tiny arena until the x5 multiplier goes away and then go back to spamming coco park or jungle boogie.
While those two tracks _are_ bigger payouts, it should be kept in mind how long each track takes. If Electron Avenue and Tiny Arena are more than twice as long as the shortest 40 coin track, or more than 1.33 times as long as the shortest 60 coin track, they most definitely would NOT be the optimal grinding solution! Accounting for that fact, the best bets would be Coco Park (40 coins, but super short), Jungle Boogie (same as Coco Park), or maybe Polar Pass (bit longer, but 60 coins). Above all though, don't worry too much about grinding until after you've finished _everything_ in the game. Each failure and success in regular races, Crystal Challenges, Battle Arenas, Relic Races, CTR Races, Cups, AND Time Trials all give rewards, and that _will_ add up after a while. Not to mention the upcoming Grand Prix events!
The setup has changed, lowering Coco Park's effectiveness and raising others. _Now_ the best option seems to be Tiger Temple... assuming the exploit in Thunderstruck gets fixed soon. Until then, that trick is the fastest payout, 56 coins every 1:30-35!

Your offline math is suspect. The average player is going to have a hard time getting sub 3:30 for tiny arena or sub 3:45 for electron avenue. That’s a 210 second race for 80 coins or 2.625 race seconds per wumpa coin. Now take Jungle Boogie or Coco Park. That same player can get sub 1:30 for 40 wumpa coins. That’s only 2.25 race seconds per wumpa. Admittedly, jungle boogie/coco park farming will have double the start of race. Factoring in the extra restart and start times, Coco Park/Jungle Boogie is still a more efficient offline farming method, even if it is earning you only about 40 more coins an hour.
@@Superbed2 It was patched I believe. All of this math is now outdated since they changed the wumpa amounts for every track. the BEST method for farming coins/earning skins QUICKLY (offline) is to go to jungle boogie which gives 40 coins per race. each race should only take u a minute and a half. in 30 minutes u can earn about 600+ coins

Actually, the best method to grind coins is just doing a 1 lap Jungle Boogie over and over. It's 40 coins compared to 80, but you're getting it done twice as fast, if not, faster. You'll accumulate about 4000 coins every hour and a half.
@@starlightSEGA What long load times? You can retry the race almost immediately offline. Multiplayer is infinitely longer because of lobby wait times as well as the 45 second wait after 1st place crosses the line.
Has anyone had a problem where after playing online it doesnt reward you any coins? I played 2 races, the first one I got 680 coins, the 2nd it didnt display any, then when I went the the pit shop I wasent given any coins. Any reason why?
Did the timer run out before you were able to finish your 2nd race? As far as I've discovered, that seems to be the only case where you wouldn't receive any coins.
Thankyou for talking about wumpa time! This mechanic is garbage tho! To get a kart off the pit stop for say 4500 coins, without wumpa time, you would have to race android ally at least 57 TIMES!!!
I’ve been getting from 15 coins to 60 coins every race and have been able to get a cart for 4500 and a character for 1500 You want it to take a while so you have something to aim for
Hay, im all for rewarding game mechanics and i hate to brake it to ya, but i get home around 4-5 oclock just about everyday monday through friday. I do the after work routine, let my gf own the tv for a while, eat dinner whatnot. That leaves me with a solid 5 hours of nothing but grind, maybe 6 ;). Doing nothing but grinding electron in off wumpa time and online at 8 oclock for that sweet 5-10X is extremely monotonous, borderlining disapointing. Look, i just want to collect the the ingame items while having fun. A good example of this is earning N. Tropy. It takes a while but the journey is meaningfull because you use your skills to unlock him. Grinding electron on medium difficulty 57 times to unlock a kart feels cheap. While the race itself is easy, all the repetition to obtain 4500 coins is a clear sign of poor game design and wumpa time's possible foray into a microtrasaction system.
Yep you can get 800 on fridays and saturdays for the first 10 races after pit stop refresh though only on the maps, electron avenue, hot air skyway, tiny arena and oxide station.
I dunno i guess its always available even without ps+ because pitstop is just a Shop it has nothing to do with online Edit: i might be wrong because it needs to connect to servers when you go to pitstop same happens when you go to online but it might be dumb is pitstop would need ps+
After the store reset my 2nd game after that seems to start wumpa time and it was 10x but it’s looking like it was nerfed to 4. I was getting many more coins the 10x. Idk it’s Activision, it’ll only get worse. Greedy fucking snakes.
@@embioz1 You don't you just keep play until you finally get hunders of coins per race also you don't have to do it right when it resets you got 24 hours to do it
But even when you finish 1St smashing through adventure modes “Story” you just get an average of 20-60 coins regardless of position and online you can be last and get 450 coins or place first and get 100 on the exact same maps. Seems more like the later adventure mode maps just give a few more coins and online just shits out random amounts with no purpose or due process to it from all I’ve seen this breakdown is apparantly completely void from any gameplay myself and friends have seen.

Because it keeps going down, dont you guys think its best if Beenox can decrease the prices in the pit stop, that way we won't waste more times earning more coins?
Nicholas McDede they have to drop the prices or just increase the amount you gain from races entirely. Take out this ‘Wumpa Time’ bullshit because nobody knows when Wumpa Time actually occurs and just increase Wumpa Coins. Or just add micro transactions
The fact that you need online for the pit stop irks me..😠 but since u can earn Wumpa coins in solo play WHY do u need online for it?! This is dumb and stupid and NEEDS to change. With all the online emphasis regarding pit stop and coins overall makes me wonder if we should be worried about Activision meddling and adding microtransactions.. yes you earn coins in solo play but at criminally small portions compared to online with solo play being about 50 to 60 coins max aprox.(NEEDS TO BE INCREASED WAY MORE.) But online being wayy over 300!? You'd have to be insane to think that there isn't something fishy going on here.. given the fact that pit stop is the primary way to earn rewards, its retarded to lock it behind online along with wumpa coins!😠 Hell, the shop oddly enough, resembles the fortnite shop too. So yeah its pretty damn obvious something up here.. online AND offline should be treated equal.

Actually, the best method to grind coins is just doing a 1 lap Jungle Boogie over and over. It's 40 coins compared to 80, but you're getting it done twice as fast, if not, faster. You'll accumulate about 4000 coins every hour and a half.
With the long load times in this game right now, your method isn’t really viable, rather just play the multiplayer and get it that way
@@starlightSEGA What long load times? You can retry the race almost immediately offline. Multiplayer is infinitely longer because of lobby wait times as well as the 45 second wait after 1st place crosses the line.
The wumpa coin should internet or internet and psn
What?
So when is “wampa time” active?
i got 800 for 1st place on coco park just before
Lucky You.😠😆
Has anyone had a problem where after playing online it doesnt reward you any coins? I played 2 races, the first one I got 680 coins, the 2nd it didnt display any, then when I went the the pit shop I wasent given any coins. Any reason why?
Did the timer run out before you were able to finish your 2nd race? As far as I've discovered, that seems to be the only case where you wouldn't receive any coins.
@@excessiveboot No I still had around 7 or so seconds left
Now they're gonna change it cuz you pointed it out...
They already nerfed the rates the other day according to what I read. lol
How long does wumpa time usually last. Also how many wumpa times per day
24 hours but time is relative of course.
Every 8-10 races right after pitstop daily refresh
When is wumpa time?
As soon as pitstop refresh starts. First 8-10 races only tho.
Thankyou for talking about wumpa time! This mechanic is garbage tho! To get a kart off the pit stop for say 4500 coins, without wumpa time, you would have to race android ally at least 57 TIMES!!!
Yeah and to make matters worst I heard that they nerfed the amount of coins you're rewarded. Freakin Activison!
I’ve been getting from 15 coins to 60 coins every race and have been able to get a cart for 4500 and a character for 1500
You want it to take a while so you have something to aim for
be smarter with your coins, don't spend them every day.
😠FUCK THAT TRACK😆
I once got 800 wumpa coins in online mode
DAMN
Yep you can get 800 on fridays and saturdays for the first 10 races after pit stop refresh though only on the maps, electron avenue, hot air skyway, tiny arena and oxide station.
How do I know when wumpa multipliers are active?
Every 8-10 races right after pitstop refresh
Superbed2 Thank you!
Do you still get whumpa coins if you activate cheats
No
@@kokorasdixoskokora 😠Fucking Hell.😆
What cheats?
So they basically force you to get online...gotcha
Yeah, from what my friend showed me the other day you can't even coins without an internet connection.
@@OtakuUnderground92 No I know that. I mean you are basically forced to get playstation plus.
So difficulty increase doesn’t effect coins but tracks do? That’s some shit lol
Milantique Studios they nerfed it so isn’t even relevant anymore
Is pitstop only available with ps+ or no?
I dunno i guess its always available even without ps+ because pitstop is just a Shop it has nothing to do with online
Edit: i might be wrong because it needs to connect to servers when you go to pitstop same happens when you go to online but it might be dumb is pitstop would need ps+
No
I’m getting 20 wumpas each race it’s stupid
After the store reset my 2nd game after that seems to start wumpa time and it was 10x but it’s looking like it was nerfed to 4. I was getting many more coins the 10x. Idk it’s Activision, it’ll only get worse. Greedy fucking snakes.
What's Wumpa Time? Also I'm probably not going to remember all that.
Wumpa time is weekend, on friday-saturday-sunday you earn more wumpa than normal days
I know they will adding a microtransaction cuz obviously Activision.
My grandma drive like you
lol
Any switch players wanna farm coins?
I do
I do as well.
@@sandywolfr26 okie
So how do I know when wumpa time is?
The more you play the more likely wumpa time will start for you or you just wait for the pit stop to reset
@@eric1107 Yeah but how do I know when it's active? Also at the time the pit stop resets I'm usually asleep.
@@embioz1 You don't you just keep play until you finally get hunders of coins per race also you don't have to do it right when it resets you got 24 hours to do it
Also once you get online to 10x bonus will only last for an hour
But even when you finish 1St smashing through adventure modes “Story” you just get an average of 20-60 coins regardless of position and online you can be last and get 450 coins or place first and get 100 on the exact same maps. Seems more like the later adventure mode maps just give a few more coins and online just shits out random amounts with no purpose or due process to it from all I’ve seen this breakdown is apparantly completely void from any gameplay myself and friends have seen.
I lost in online 3 times and I got 6010 coins no joke 😂
WHAT?! I swear this reward system is stupid.
FEARnoHATE sadly, I didn’t get my halo crunch (dirt bike crunch) :c
OMG XD
@@LinusTheSecond Sorry!😟😔😵
Just if you could play online against local or ai because no one plays :l
The game is dead now?
FEARnoHATE is for me but I’m playing on switch
lol That explains it. Should've got it on PS cause Nintendo dudes only gonna play Mario Kart.
FEARnoHATE yeah at my work it’s hard to get a park unless you get there by 6:30am so if I start at 9:30 I get there at 6:30 get a good park then pull out the switch for a couple hours but guess I’ll just play solo finish the game at least
This whole Wumpa Coin thing is fucking stupid. It takes away how great the game is. Takes forever just get a decent amount of coins.
Wtf why are dingo canyon and dragon mines tier 1 hahaha
Because they're easy and short.
@@Superbed2 dragon mines is the devil
Wumba Coins?
Nah it's "Wamba coins"
Im from Indonesia...and i dont understand what you said....
He Said sub to me
I've never gotten more than 40 coins per race no matter what track I do at any given time soooo....
Anyone who wanna do a private match to farm more wumpa coins? Whats your psn name? Gonna use "Tiny Arena" wich has more value to earn
You can make more wumpa coins faster and easier racing by yourself in Jungle Boogie on easy mode. 40 coins every 1:20-1:30
Why is the backround gameplay so trash?
Because I just started playing the game the day that I recorded this video. I'm better now.
In other words, "give the console makers more money so you can get more coins so you can get more content". Cool -.-
What?
@@icedphontic to get all those wumpa coins, you need to pay to play online (which is a bullshit scam to begin with). Meanwhile, those of us who aren't going to waste money on monthly subscriptions, are stuck with abysmally low wumpa coin income
