- 60 Minutes pure Aviation, with classic planes only and with a quite sad occasion today. The first Boeing 727 which is visible in this video got retired last week and it is now parked in the United Kingdom. Due to the amazing livery this used to be my favorite B727 which was still operating and it` s also the reason why I deciede to upload a classic plane compilation today. There are rumours that the B727 won` t be scrapped and it will return to the skies with another operator after some time. There are not many classic B727` s left in the world and it` s always sad when another one stops flying. The last flight of this airframe was operated from London Stansted to Cotsworth Airport.
I also included other classic planes I filmed within the last 13 years. I started filming in 2011 and one of the first planes I filmed was the Vickers VC-10 whcih departed at Brize Norton. The smoke trail was crazy and it was mesmerizing to watch and hear this classic bird depart. I was quite happy that I filmed one of the last fligts of a VC10 in the UK.

Amazing how utterly modern the 727 looks in a contemporary livery and winglets. Shows how classic the design is.
I like it without winglets and all three orig JT8Ds, but great to see flying non the less.
@@delten-eleven1910 I agree! I generally hate the look of winglets and how they ruin the clean wing tips and I love the nacelle shape of those JT8-D’s.
That first 727 is the most beautiful I have ever seen!!🎉❤
Unfortunately it has been reported that that particular Boeing 727 M-STAR has officially been retired and is to be cut up for scrap!
@@marquesdean5075 I saw M-STAR arrive at Stansted on its pre-retirement flight as it stopped there for Customs and passports before making the short hop to the scrap line. I travelled to see it as I figured I may never see another 727 flying again. It was worth it as the aircraft still looked great. 👍
@@Pesmog Hard to believe that the plane is going to be scrapped,it looks like it was brand new. Maybe the airframe reached it's cycle limit. It would have been nice to see that 727 go to a museum somewhere rather then meet the scrap man's axe!
The B727 maybe wasn’t the most fuel efficient, or quiet, but DAMN, how can you not love that design!! Then there’s the 707…same thing!!👍😉😄😄
You said it bro!
@@shanec9325 You said it too!
@@caribbeanplanespotting874you said it too!
@@Aderin. good one! 👍🏻
@@caribbeanplanespotting874good one! 👍🏻
I am lucky to say, My grandfather flew for Northwest Airlines out of Minneapolis, Minnesota. He retired in the 727 in 1980. J.R. "Red" Deveny. Was a F.A.A. crash investigator and helped the FBI by flying the 727 with the back door down for a D.B. Cooper investigation. Keep them flying!
Awesome catches all classic planes!!. Old but Gold ❤❤❤
The 727’s with winglets are so slick! The first one in the video was one of the nicest livery’s I’ve ever seen.
That's one of the best paint jobs I have seen on the first plane. 😎👍
Shame it’s been retired :(
@@sammy4282I think these planes are still flying. They fly to south end and the blue version flew to stansted a few times
@@Aderin. Nope. this one was recently retired
The re-engined 727s with winglets are one of the coolest aircraft I've seen❤❤
Looking so nice here of this 727-200s.😊 Thank you for sharing.😊
The best 60 minutes of pure aviation even seeing in CZcams ✔️✔️✔️✔️✈️✈️✈️👍🏽🥰
@ 36:00 That is one bad-ass sounding airplane! She's a beauty. I love the sound of multi-props. Especially when they fly over!
That Antonov AN-12 made a perfect crosswind landing
sheer class and excellent footage...bring all these back soon!
The B727 was a beautiful airliner and it was loud; loved it!
Wow. That VC-10 sounded like a fighter taking off on full afterburner. GREAT aeroporn, as usual, Cargospotter! The aircraft in this video are from the sweet spot era for me and many other viewers, I expect. These birds are what we want to see...
I flew this DC8-72CF as flight engineer, when she was in French Air Force as F-RAFG. She ´s a marvel !
Very nice 👍

I like a sound of jet engines, it’s best music to my ears
Oh wow the constellation. My Grandmother flew from Glasgow via a night stop in Cairo , Nairobi and finally onto Salisbury then Southern Rhodesia in 1952. The name was BEA back then. There were bunk beds onboard in the day , and the service was all 1st class Silver Spoon. Now days it's all how many seats that the airlines can squeeze on board.
Nice to see the E-3
Doesnt get much better than this! Wish I was born earlier haha. Awesome work!!
Beautiful classics , from a golden Era.
Great planes.
You will not believe where I am going in 2025 :) Number one plane spotting location in world.
I love the livery and the 727 in general
That first 727 is beautiful. Sexy plane.
The first clip of the Geo Sky 747 taking off was the best. Four screaming turbo fans. Hell yeah.
I love the first air plane take off. It is a beautiful design air plane.
Flew that E-8 JSTARS #2005(Boeing 707-323), at Wright-Patterson AFB back when it was #81-0892, EC-18B ARIA, queen of the fleet.
It's interesting to note that when slide rules and drawing boards were used to design aircraft, cars, or most anything, the designs tended to look rather beautiful.
I love That AN-22 or C-160 crosswind landing
Oh que gusto ver grandes clásicos en este vídeos me gusto. Estos grandes clásicos en sus tiempos fueron grandes aviones y a pesar de sus años y horas de vuelo hoy en día lo siguen siendo.
22:00 I still miss the Antonov An-225 Mriya. :( Instead, we watch the Antonov An-124s. :)
Some very fancy toys on display ✈️
Such beautiful planes of yesterday!!❤🎉
Boeing 727 definitely a Madd Dogg👀👑💯
Excellent.
3:27 This pilot was reliving his days of flying fighter jets 😁
Please, would someone write the list of the planes? pls pls pls 😀
707 is like a 60’s Chevy with a new paint job
Very nice. Thanks. 👍
セブン トゥー セブン かっこえ~👍
リアエンジンだから背中押しつけられるGがたまらんのだよ🤩
GEO SKY 747 Classic Freighter. Nice catch!
Excelente!!!
727 ….best aircraft ever.
Two 👍👍 Up !!
Great video 😎👍🏻🎥💯
👏👏👏👏👏🇧🇷
I don't film military planes but I like to watch them on occasion.
Air Zimbabwe 707 Harare to Victoria falls several times back in the 1980's. Wonderful.
Winglets on a 727 is pretty cool ngl
Nice Work
The 727 and all Boeing's were quiet when new, the older they get the louder they got.
Thanks
The aircraft of a well spent youth ! Not like today's mimicking twin engined.
The good ol days when trijets and quad jets roamed the Earth! When the raw power of Pratt & Whitney JT8Ds,JT3Ds,Rolls Royce RB211s,Speys & GE CF6s combined with the smell of kerosene to make ear splitting roars on takeoff!!
When I was an aircraft handler in Hamburg in the 80s, the 727 was one of my favorite aircraft.
The IL62 sometimes had to abort take-off, was loud and has violent smoked. The JAL 747 flew regularly to Tokyo, looked all times like new. Also the japanese stewardesses were beautiful.
It was a great time for me to work at the Airport HAM (EDDH).
Comme il est beau cet avion le b727.
Meu grande sonho sempre foi pilotar um avião. É uma drena única. Realmente amo conduzir e amo velocidades. É um privilégio que tem somente pessoas de um determinado grupo social, que não é o meu
Beutiful
I live under the flight path to PTK (in Michigan) and I often hear the 727 from IFL Group coming straight in for final. No need to look out the window -- its sound gives it away! But yes, B-727 is a lovely plane. Too bad everything nowadays is the same boring design with two engines under the wings.
👍👍👍👍
This 727 like a was a brand new
This plane bearing the name Maximus belongs to which country? What kind of giant Antonov? Is it for Sudan؟ Minute 21:00
I ve seen the first one
4:20 what? Samaritans what??
Why do old things feel better than new things? Is it because they are rare? Would we feel the same way if this was the 70s and 80s where they were commonplace, or would we prefer the even older prop planes like the Constellation?
The JT8D is very loud
@5:30 Anyone know what type of plane that Samaritan’s purse was?
DC-8
Is this real or ai?
You know how to fly it
Ok
