- Reaction from manager Steven Gerrard after Rangers' 2-0 home defeat (3-1 loss on aggregate) against Slavia Prague in the 2nd leg of the Round-of-16 in the 2020/21 UEFA Europa League. Rangers had two players sent off, before the hosts accused Slavia's No.15 Ondřej Kúdela of racially abusing midfielder Glen Kamara towards the end of the game.

Let’s justify racism with other things don’t matter if they other things right or wrong but racism is not right full stop
After the match, Slavia team was not allowed into the cabins and Ondřej Kúdela was cowardly beaten with fists in the face by Kamara without warning in the presence of coach Steven Gerrard. The UEFA representatives, who were personally present at the whole incident, were also shocked. Scottish police took action and Camara and Gerrard are investigated. UEFA is considering 5 year stop in Europe for Glasgow Rangers.

Go have a look at Roofe's Instagram, full of your people being racist also. There are cameras in the tunnel so we will see about him getting beat up, I think he, and your president, are liars. Gerard mistake is that he accept the violent playing style. As he planned the violent game, he kept Ianis out of the team as he is not able to play violent soccer. The result is known. Any discussion about racism is zero. In nowadays the racism is coming to be a top discussion. My question is why always the racism is considered in only one way? This means that the one side is pure and fair and the other side is racist etc. Personally I am feeling daily discriminated and I am not gonna saying that the people around me are racist I am saying that not all people around me are able to show respect. This is the real life and the discrimination is not about skin colour, eyes shape or other physical particularities it is about the fact that sometimes the people feel that the world is against them. You can not expect to be respected if you did not show respect to others.Fair Play in game is exactly as fair behaviour in real life: is just for losers. Nothing is fair in this world but we need to show respect at least.

I was watching the match towards the end and it began to look like a Rugby League game without the punches. I didn't know what caused it, as I was watching in a foreign language. Something verbal must have happened, as I didn't see anything physical that would have caused this flare up.

Dobře i kdyby Kůdela něco takového řekl uznávám je to hnusné ale rangers hrají celý zápas jako prasata zraní koláře (a mohlo to dopadnout i hůře), zmlátí Kůdelu, celý zápas hrají jako kdyby to bylo ragby a nakonec nás nechtějí pustit do šaten a museli jsme zavolat policii. A Gerrard řeší jenom ten rasismus i když si myslím že to ani neřekl vždyť i slavia má v týmu takové hráče. Rangers jsem měl rád ale to co předvedli tento zápas je neuvěřitelné. Nečekal bych že zrovna rangers neunesou porážku.
