Madden NFL 2000 (also known as Madden 2000) is a football video game. This was the second of the Madden NFL games to not solely feature John Madden on the cover in North America. The only other one was Madden NFL '95.

hahaha...that was me with "Joe Montana Sports Talk Football". Running "sweep strong" every play, or punting on random downs because I didn't understand what punting accomplished (the commentator would say "New York...lines up to punt...and I CAN'T BELIEVE IT"). But then within a year, I fell in love with football, got more games, was totally obsessed with playing football and playing football video games.
Lol, me 2. I rented it from BB, because my 2 cuzzins were sports fans and were staying the weekend so we all got to pic a game and since it was my PS and I was the only 1 with one. I played just to admire the graphics. Still brings back memories. I had the PS1 first bcus, no one wld pay that much for it not being a Nintendo or Sega, but I loved Tekken and Ridge Racer. 😅🫡😌
I should play this right now just need to turn on the ps2 and grab the disc

NFL2K makes this game look so pathetic. Dreamcast was sick and way ahead of its time.
I love the Dreamcast, but it had a very short shelf life. Within one year the PS2 had been released and within two years we had the Game Cube and Xbox Classic.
My neighbor and good friend had a Dreamcast while I had an N64. We played 2K, and within a year or so, I was borrowing it while he had already moved onto the PS2. I played his single player games until the Game Cube released and then it was pretty much shelved for almost a decade before being brought back out for nostalgia.
Yeah this game just looks ugly. It looks like I'm playing Madden 2002 on a Gameboy.
Shouldn't Kurt Warner be under center instead of Trent Green?
Game came out before the 1999 season. Green got hurt in preseason after this.
Warner was the backup at the beginning of the season. He had a Hollywood movie season

I remember this was the first time that the running game actually felt a bit more realistic. Not just skating around look.
I mean the clock management is just pitiful. Such a wasted opportunity by not kicking a field goal before the end of the half

This is actually one of the Best Maddens ever ... As long as you play on all madden, you can’t make the CPU easy ... I can tell you’re on a lower level, CPU defense is hardcore on Madden level ...

This is actually a great game though. You cant compare PS1 games to PS2 and expect them to be the same.

I wanted to play this on an emulator the only problem being is that it has a serious graphic issue when it comes to some players disappearing off the field. Can't thow to something you cant see .

@@TheCyberAthlete I belive I was using epsxe and I changed the default graphics plugin to the alternate graphics plugin. Let me know if it helps, its been awhile.
