In general love your reviews. But I think you should test the earbuds in real environments outside of the studio
I have, and they sound great! Noise cancellation is dramatically improved, and everything just sounds a bit clearer. The bass is very tight and well balanced
I second this…just flew 8 hours with the AirPods Pro 2 and the noise cancelling was fantastic as well as the sound quality and the battery life. Coming from AirPods Pro 1st gen I notice a pretty substantial difference and would recommend upgrading if you’re thinking of doing so.
I mowed the lawn this past weekend and the lawn mower noise was almost completely canceled out. Quite impressed by them tbh
The largest improvement for me is the almost total elimination of the hiss/white noise in transparency mode. I feel like I can leave them in transparency all the time now like I do the AirPods Maxs.
I actually like that because it makes me know Im in transparency mode and won't get run over by a truck 😂
Are you sure there isn’t an issue with your old AirPod pros? I only hear the hiss when the mics are damaged. Apple replaces them when this happens
thats a qc issue, my first gen aipods pro have near perfect transparency. imo upgrading my earbuds u
before these ones break is a waste for me
In case anyone was curious, I recently tried the new extra small tips on the first gen and the tips fit just fine. I didn't try wearing them in my ears, but they seemed to fit and held just fine, so if you just wanted the XS tips, they do fit the first gen AirPods Pro.
after 3 years of using pro 1'st I can definitely tell the difference in both ANC and sound quality. a good upgrade to be honest and well worth the price from my view.
Although it might seem like small improvements over the gen 1, in use they feel so much better. Everything is improved about them and it makes them so much better. Loving mine.
Completely agree. I'd had my og airpods pros since launch and they have become pretty broken over the years. Maybe I just don't remember how good they used to be back then, but the new ones are absolutely wonderful.
@@itsxxxstefanoxxx5115 I’m okay with the leakage. My thought process was that I’ve never had a pair of noice cancelling headphones. I’m hoping that I won’t have to listen to my music so loud anyways with noise cancellation that leakage won’t be a problem
I had the original pro’s for three years and loved them. These were an obvious upgrade for me and I was pleasantly surprised with how much better they sound in all aspects. Plus, the new ones charge reliably in the case. Old ones were a crap shoot.
Definitely, I hated putting them in my ears, just for them to be dead. Got to a point where I always checked to see if the case light blinked, indicating that they started charging, after seating each earbud.
Is it really worth the money though? Cause AirPods Pro rn are 159 plus tax, and the gen 2 are 259 so which ones should I buy?
Hahah this could be an AirPods ad, with how you’re all smiles every time you have the 2s😂 great review lol
I gotta say, I am surprised Max and the editing crew could make me know the difference between the OG Pros and the Pro 2s when I’m listening on my OGs 👏
I got a pair of the 2's and Its no contest. Huge upgrade! Transperency mode I never used on the old ones. The new ones its a really awesome feature.
I have a pair arriving this afternoon. All the in-depth reviews I saw on CZcams convinced me. Your review was more explicit than most of the others, which makes me feel confident in my choice.
been waiting on yo review for airpods pro 2 for a while now glad its finally here
Was waiting for your comparison video
Best review I’ve seen over a half a dozen. Touched on all the main points for me. Thank you 😊
Amazing-Love this really awesome video!!.This review and comparison is so great!!.I truly value all the information you share and the time and dedication you put in these high quality videos!.Your reviews are so fun to watch and are very useful-Keep it up!.
You always do the reviews I’m looking for. You always answer the best questions for comparison which really helps make decisions on whether upgrading is worth it or not. Love the in depth insight!
What’s more comfortable in your opinion the AirPods with silicon tips or the AirPods with no silicon tips?
@@lolbro3322 For me, definitely the silicon tips. They're both fairly comfortable but the pro's really area all around more comfortable and secure.
Seem like great earbuds. Are you still using the 6.1” Pro size instead of the Max? How did you like it after a full year?
The bass is greater, at the cost of muddying up the lower mids unfortunately. I wasn’t wowed like it had hoped from the originals. The mid range is definitely in worse shape from this with many things being pulled back.
I was waiting for this review for soo long. Awesome job as always❤️
Bro the microphone quality difference between the OG Pros and the new Pros is crazy, It’s a massive difference, you sounded so much more clear with the new AirPods
Huge props for consistency in video release 🙏🏻🔥. Huge fan from India.
Got mine yesterday and it’s absolutely amazing! So worth the upgrade!!
The video I’ve been waiting for from you guys!
I picked up the AirPods Pro 2nd Gen today and I am like Wowed!
Lol I had the Gen 1 before and the Gen 2 are like so awesome, love the deeper bass and louder fuller sound, I love them so much and it got me up dancing! Lol I don't think anyone picking them up will be disappointed 👍😎🎶
Your video format is always my favourite. Informative and well organised. I really appreciate your work.
THANKS FOR WATCHING ❤️
you have been randomly selected among the winners of today hit me up↗️↗️
The little hook for the lanyard has been shown (in a ct scan) to be connected to electronics so it may also be used as an antenna
You guys make every video very Awesome. The details, explanation, information everything is very good and easy to understand..love your videos guys ...keep working hard and grow more ..love from INDIA ♥️♥️♥️
I’ve had my airpods pro for a year and love them. Use them every day, largely for the ANC. Glad to know that’s improved. But I also loose or misplace them frequently, so the FindMy is almost too good to pass up. As soon as I find a good home for my 1Gen, I’ll be upgrading.
THANKS FOR WATCHING ❤️

I use Pros while detailing cars and one issue with the new ones is a big static sound whenever I’m using my air compressor. Original AirPods Pro didn’t do that, but the new ones do
Was really waiting for this review of yours Max
I'm actually really happy to get apple watch charger support! I wear my watch at night for sleep tracking so my charger would be free to charge my pods overnight!
Great review! The new ones look more modern and neater. Also, OH MY GOD, the new ones have much better microphones, the old Pros were not good in all conditions, and horrendous with windy weather. My Airpods Pro have been crackling so this is the perfect time to upgrade!
Are you using a cover for your airpod pros? Just got mine and was wondering if it’s recommended? The bad point is just that most covers make them quite bulky and don’t support mag safe…
I've had my Airpod Pro's for about 3 years and use them just about every single day. Sometimes i get a slight crackling noise. Debating if I should upgrade now or keep these a little while longer. Thanks for the comparison video to help me decide.
Being able to charge with watch charger actually makes their MagSafe Duo Charger that much better!! 🎉
been waiting for this video not so patiently lol
Awesome review. In the review it was mentioned that sound was better but the AirPods Max was still a step ahead. I'm really curious how the AirPods pro gen 2 ANC compares to the AirPods max ANC. I live on a busy street and it's nice to be able to drown out the noise of cars with ANC :)
THANKS FOR WATCHING ❤️

Great comparison for a current AirPods Pro owner. Thank you!
2:13 It's going to be incredibly useful if you use AirPods while running. You can just easily make small adjustments to the volume of your music. It sounds great to me.
Got my first Earpods today. This pro 2. It's phenomenal!
I'm slowly sucked into the walled garden.
In the follow up review, can you test the bluetooth connection range to determine whether it has improved? Thanks!
I for one think that the puck charging is a HUGE improvement. Most aftermarket wall chargers have two ports at most. So, when I travel, I can plug my ultra puck into one, and a lightning into the other then charge all 4 devices (watch, AirPods, iPad, iPhone) on only two cables.
Thanks for the review, I’ll definitely upgrade my 1’s to the 2’s, cheers mate from James in England 👍🏻
i mean i lost my old ones😂so i bought the pro 2’s yesterday and i really like them. i can’t recommend directly uprading from the pro 1’s, but if you have the extra cash, there’s definitely some differences to enjoy.
Oh yeah, these are all exactly the improvements I have been waiting for
THANKS FOR WATCHING ❤️

Can’t wait to pick up some. I have an AirTag stuck to the side of my AirPods 2 case. Ready to ditch that bulk and upgrade.
Curious, in your experience how much does the airpod move when changing the volume? This was taken from the Huawei Freebuds Pro and those were on the side rather than the tip so it didn't move.
I notice that in AirPods Pro 2, if it’s not playing in Dolby Atmos, music does get louder when playing in stereo. However, in Dolby Atmos the volume is more controlled but definitely more deep and full.
I was going to buy them anyway, but that improved microphone makes it a must have!
How about the latency did it improve over the original pros? Great video as always fam
I have not plugged in my AirPod Pro v1 more than a couple of times. Always just popped it on a wireless charging pad or the new MagSafe pad for my 14.
I love the sound of these over the Beats Fit Pro and the AirPods Pro 1. These are now my daily earbuds for everything I do (work, music, working out). The volume controls are a winner and the ANC is much better.
The leaking would make sense in the natural upgrade you hear. Hugh end headphones have open backs for that reason.
Personalize spatial audio is available in Ios16 on AirpodsPro gen 1 too!!
Hello! Maybe this is as weird question, but can you recommend In Ear Headphones for Zoom or Online Meetings with good sound quality and very good microphones.
So far I tried a few. But could not find one!
here i am watching another review despite already ordering these lol, i just love my airpods pros so much im excited for them to be even better
can the tracking feature be used to find each individual left and right air pods?
Listening to this on my Jaybirds Vista 2 - man those songs sound great indeed lol
I have the airpod pro one and might upgrade
Very interesting,I've seen a mic test video outdoor on another channel, the sound quality is almost the same,or you can just say both are not that good,I don't expect there will be such a huge different indoor, that means if you use earphone most of the time in the office, you should definitely go for Airpods Pro 2, and if you are the people like me who already have Airpods Pro and hardly use earphone for calling, well, your can save money now, because the original Airpods Pro is still the first echelon in the market.
thanks for this, this review is superb!
Does it have a "Directional navigation" as an AirTAg when you are close to the arrow? You did not show that in the video.
Hello i like the review but i had the pro gen 1 I would love to ask if could i upgrade? I just buy the gen1 could you recommend me to upgrade..
Great comparison. I am grateful.
I discovered something interesting when I received the new AirPods Pro 2. They are easily mixed up with the OG AirPods Pro and I inadvertently placed the wrong buds in each others cases. The buds will fit just fine but will not charge at all and in fact the buds in the wrong case will completely drain both pairs after a day or so.
and that in the new will also make a noise if you have the ear bud in the case too.
Thank you for the great video! Can you make a video to show if the new AirPods Pro 2 can cause issues to the users? For instance, do the new AirPods Pro 2 emit high level of electromagnetic radiation. What can happen if you are wearing them for many ours? Thank you in advance
I was listening through my AirPods Pro 2 so I didn’t know the difference LMAO 😂
This is clearly the best and most comprehensive comparison of the AirPods Pro
You definitely spend considerable time to analyze and review tech products, that’s why always watch your reviews even if I did already elsewhere
Good job 👏🏻
One side note: I just wonder if this new spatial audio personalization makes any difference on dolby atmos movies in Apple store especially with the new AirPods 2nd gen
I don’t really notice a difference personally with the personalized spatial audio but it is better spatial audio overall it sounds more full
Tuning and sound difference is quite big IMHO. In a simple way bass is stronger extending to much lower frequencies, but the mids and higher mids are much more neutral/natural sounding. OG version has some sharpness and occasionally sibilance in higher frequencies. This update makes these very professional sounding. Actually it is at the level, when it starts to be useless / not necessary to have a studio headphones. Bravo Apple.
THANKS FOR WATCHING ❤️

OMG the difference in Mic quality is huge! I’m looking forward to getting it in my hands next week
Thankfully that's one thing I don't care.
I'll try to keep my pro 1 until it retires.
What’s more comfortable in your opinion the AirPods with silicon tips or the AirPods with no silicon tips?
Yeah, that was considerably better... and I'm now a bit horrified that I sound that bad on my v1. 😱 What I really want to know, though, is how interruptive external sounds are... ie. is there any noise cancelation to what the mics are picking up? If there is much of any background noise (say, I try putting away some dishes while talking to someone), they ask me to stop, almost like it is painful to them.
0:29 That's no bummer. I love the lighting port
Can you find the airpod case with the new iwatch? I have an old school iPhone (waiting on i15 to upgrade?)
8:05 turn your phone volume all the way down, and in reality that's almost the the camera man is seeing 😂😂
I think the significance of the ability to charge using the watch charger is that I splashed out on the MagSafe Duo and was disappointed that I couldn’t charge from the watch charger. I have a pair of Pros 2 arriving today, and I’ll have to try to remember where I left the MagSafe Duo…
Use my AirPod Pros so much and love ‘em, so when tried these new 2nd gens I was really impressed, Apple knocked it out of the park with the 2nd Gen AirPod Pros. imo
Guys are the old earbuds compatible with the new case? I went to the apple store and put my old ones into the new case and it managed to charge and fit
All airpods are amazing but last airpods is very beautiful Like you to explain
How is the sound quality if you pair them with an iPhone 13P vs a 14P? Curious since Bluetooth 5.3 apparently improves it, which the 13's don't have.
probably barely any difference, considering most of the changes were related to connection range in BT 5.3
How is microphone when in calls outside a quiet studio? With the gen 1 I constantly have issues with the mic picking up other noises and making them quite loud. Got a lot of complains when in call with these…
I got the first gen with MagSafe in may on a discount and do not regret it at all. Even on the first gen the transparency and noise cancellation are pretty good.
Quick question. I recently just brought a pair of the AirPods Pro Gen 2 and I was wondering if I put bass boost on in the EQ on Spotify would that ruin any sound quality associated with putting on the bass boost toggle?
My problem with the Pro 1, I would have to adjust them and it would make them squeal. The mic would be screwed up and they would hiss from then on in transparency mode. I went through 5 pairs since 2019. So far the new generation is a revolutionary change. They don’t even feel the same, way more comfortable.
I noticed with the AirPods Pro 1, the transparency mode becomes weaker in windy conditions. Is this still an issue on the Pro 2’s?
great vid, can't stop looking at your watch though. stunning.
7:58 : My favorite Artist. But "Anthem of The Lonely" and "Get Back" are my Favorite
For me I’m getting the old one for the half for the second gen, don’t want to spent so much
listening to this via my AirPods pr 2, is it my AirPods or is the audio of this video having some issue?
Is it only me, or does the Pro2 not have the confirming sound when you put them in the ears like the old Pros, and when you switch between anc and transperency?
Hey guys, great video. One thing I’m asking myself though, is if there is a significant improvement if you can’t use Bluetooth 5.3 because you have an older iPhone. Would be great if you could test that
What’s more comfortable in your opinion the AirPods with silicon tips or the AirPods with no silicon tips?
@@lolbro3322 I like the silicon tips, the AirPods just feel more secure in my ear my them
There was this annoying "pop sound" coming out of the 1stGEN not present here. But somehow the call audio clarity is actually not great. Perhaps, Bluetooth 5.3 could the fix that.
Could you test the Mophie MagSafe 10K powerstation released a few days ago? It claims a 15Watt wireless charging speed with MFI cert.
Helpful video, great info, but I just ordered the Pro not the 2 yesterday, I have natural noise cancelling features in my ears, it's called being old. I can barely hear the microwave beep so I saved a few bucks.
Can you guys compare the pro 2 with the max to tell us how much difference you hear? Also compare the h1 to the h2 chip
Is there a difference in the size of the case?
I wonder anyone can test the new AirPods Pro 2 with balanced tone setting on, which makes the original Pro sounds so much better.
Btw the Face ID sensor is called TrueDepth, LiDAR is a 3d mapping sensor on the back of the 12,13 and 14 pros and some ipads
My issues with gen 1 is that it hurt my ears as I am shoving the rubber tips into my ears. How does it fit? Is it exactly the same as gen one?
I think each swipe only change the volumn abit is a good thing because they dont want your ears to get exploded with sound by accident swipe. The mic quality and noise cancelling are improved for sure but i dont feel any notable audio quality upgrade. The newly added find-my and speaker on Airpods pro 2 case is really good and will come in handy from time to time. Improvement in battery life is also a good thing. Imo, if you already have the Airpods Pro 1 and its still working fine, definitely should just keep it and use it until it breaks or when Apple releases a more worthy upgrade because right now you can get the Airpods Pro 1 for a much better price with discount. If you dont have an Airpods Pro yet, then Airpods Pro 2 is the way to go
Using the airpods pro2 at the gym, shop ect, I’m disappointed with the noise cancellation, and the microphone because talking on the phone with the new airpods the partner hardly heard me which was never a problem with the original airpods pro. Yes, sound quality is better and the connectivity seems much better (i had many problems when I had a call, opened quickly the airpods and it connected to my MAC instead of my iPhone).
Try Wondershare FamiSafe parental control app for 3 free days: bit.ly/2Yiv3fm

I would definitely buy THESE AirPods in 2022 ➡ geni.us/g14g
Wondershare is a super sketchy company I would be weary giving them all location and browsing data
I find it weird you promote stalking apps. Really counterproductive if you want to gain trust from your kids and get a good relationship.
The sponsoring of this company reflects (subconsciously) your values as a channel too. So maybe not the best decision you’ve made? :/
