    S. Africa does not own SADC, it is a member in terms of the definition of membership rights enshrined in the SADC Constitution. It does not have the authority to decide what happens in member countries but can assist in settling disputes. This is where ADC country leaders can engage Harare to find common ground on resolving differences in Zimbabwe.
And for what its worth S Africa does not have more power within SADC but can use its economic muscle to influence what happens in member countries. In the case of Zimbabwe, S Africa must have an even bigger voice since it bears the most brunt through the burden it carries by hosting over 200K Zimbabweans

I am sure all of these developments that occured in a shotspan of time are because of that summit.
From the modernisation of the beitbridge boarder Post,Airpost modernisation,New Parliament, Modernised Mbudzi Interchange,New roads and some of the things am not even aware thats taking place behind the curtains.
All this is happening because of that summit.
I noticed this government will use money only when theres a cause that might jeopardise their position, so yah ofcause l would love more summits in Zim.
