- This is my first time owning an electric scooter, and I love it! The Xiaomi Scooter 4 is the ideal e-scooter for beginners. It has a 20-35km range, can conquer inclines of up to 16%, and only weighs 14.9kg. The Scooter 4 has a max speed of 25km/h, a capacity rating of 110kg, and a 5-hour battery life. Great review Dan. Im looking for one, maybe not this one but who knows.
Yeah, this one is a great starting point. How would you use yours? Would it be for fun or to commute somewhere?
@@DansTubeTVjust for fun
I just got one a month ago for 699 canadian dollars. It is called the evrcross h5 and it goes 45kmh and 50kmh when going down hill. It had a horn, indicators, rgb lights and showes you how many km you have rode it
Nice one! Are you happy with it?
@@DansTubeTV yesss but its like -20c here so i didnt really get a chance to ride it properly yet 😞
Nice review, thanks, mate! I'm trying to decide between this one and 4 pro. It seems pro has longer range (and is more expensive of course) but otherwise this one is just fine too.
Yeah, they are both fine. The Pro would be a good choice if you will be using the scooter as a daily driver.
Hi thanks for the vid! could you please tell me the dimensions of the deck? I mean the, place where you put your feet. What is the width and length of it? ( i dont mean the length of the whole scooter). I hope you can reply:D
I don’t know exactly, it is not overly long or wide. I have to put my foot up at the back to be comfortable.
How is it on bumpy roads? I really don't wanna overspend on Ultra model with its weight, and I don't travel much/long distances. I hope it is ok for me, but the roads here aren't great or straight at all.
Does it speed up too much if going downhill? Does the break help reduce the speed, but not completely stop it? I am not a fan of high speed, tbh.
It's about to be my first scooter, cause public transport sucks and taxi is too expensive for a travel between districts.
Also, if it suddenly rains, would I still be able to travel mid-way? Or all the way back (say, 15-20 mins tops?)
Your video is very helpful, thank you!
I find that it is great in all scenarios. No issues on my end. I’m sure that you will be happy with it.
@@DansTubeTV you didn't really answer all the questions. What about downhill speed??
Mine seems to cap at 25KM/H even downhill.
Should i pump my xiaomi e scooter 4 tires? I havent pumped them for nearly a year now and tires feels and looks fine to me
You should definitely pump them. I believe that they recommend a monthly pump if you are using the scooter regularly.
Just bought it yesterday but I am not getting 25-35 km. Maybe the. Artery will reach its peak once a couple of cycles are completed 🤷🏻♂️ maybe the fact that am 117 kg is a factor
It is a pretty big factor
Check out the link in the video description. I believe that the weight rating is 110kg. I might be wrong though.
@@DansTubeTV it is, just to clarify. I was driving it in Sport mode which is faster and that wont get you 35 km, but standard mode will. The weight is not a factor then considering I am getting what I am supposed to get.
@@normanbataille8865ur weight is the most important thing on these things. More heavy you are, the more then motor has to push power
i bought and used it. no regrets
Great! 🛴
What is the real range?
30 km in manual but i did not actually run from full charge to empty
yk just saying but is it rlly that safe?? with the lock cant u just pick it up? im tryna get a good scooter for my first electric scooter can anyone give me other good scooters
I haven’t tested any other scooters so I can’t comment, sorry.
Hi i have a scooter, and i haven't use it for some time, i just charged it and the battery is showing that it is full of charge, today i was trying to drive it but the lights and every thing is on but it is not moving with the motor , can you tell what i can do please?
Try turning it off and on, make sure that the firmware is up to date and then make sure to start the scooter with a push start.
@@DansTubeTV you mean just from the button? On and off? Or I have to disconnect the battery?
Just on and off. I find that sometimes the motor does not engage if it has been inactive for a while. Try connecting to the app as well, you might see some information on the app.
@@DansTubeTV sorry please can you guide me what should I use, is I never had any application for it
Try reaching out to the scooter manufacturer. They might be able to help. I just explained my process above.
Anyone knows how to craack the system and make it faster?
I have no idea 🤷♂️
I got the exact scooter but it does only 20 km I don't know why do you know anything about this
Mine goes 25 km/h in sports mode. Update the firmware?
I need more speed ,how make more speed?
I believe that countries lock the max speed for safety reasons.
@@DansTubeTV in Europe the legal speed is 20 km/h.
Looks safer than that electric skate board you once tried to kill me with ;)
Yes, a lot safer ⛑️
Im 85kg is this scooter is good with my weight _???
Yes, that should be fine. Check the product link in the video description. The website will tell you the weight rating.
is this review influenced by panmi because they supplied you the scooter??
No, these were my honest thoughts.
