May i know how do you open up tjhe figures nicely without damaging the packaging?
@warrioremy honestly, it could take up to 3 weeks, sometimes the delay doesn't come with the transit but more with the customs where they could hold the box for a couple of days
I'm really excited to see it, apparently the script for the movie has been floating around for about 15 years and Rodriguez planned on having not only Dutch return but a possible cameo by Jean Claude Van Damme...shame it got shelved for so long
I've always loved your reviews spot, I'm hoping to one day get my hands on the old neca avpr figures on eBay, but they are very expensive so I'll just have to keep looking for a cheap one, maybe ill get lucky :)
I got this figure a lot of time ago no sure whether it was branded as 'alien VS predator' but the one I have is the same and is NECA and I can confirm the detail is very impressive for its price (I paid at the time around 18 £) even compared to my other Kotobukiya figures in bigger scale.

I saw this on eBay for about $20 out of the box and only includes the spear. Is it worth it?

@GunJack4444 Unfortunately because I live in Canada I really wouldn't be able to tell you cause I don't know, The only answer I could really give is to either try ebay or check around to see if where you live has toy conventions, thats the best place to find reasonably priced toys because you can haggle with the dealers and usually there's no tax.. hope that helps

I think they reason that its stiff is so it can stand up on its own. McFarling had some issues with that with the Alien Resurrection model.

I have the unmasked version, since that was the one they had in store, and the stealth mode figure.
Also got the McFarlane predator from the first movie. the leg joint was so stiff that I believed it was solid, one day i thought I had broken it, and it was then I discovered the swivel joints

This is one of the best Predator figures out there- I have both unmasked and masked versions of it. It looks like a classic predator and its incredible detailed, I'm not a big fan of this new designs with oversized heads and wrist blades.

You can not remove the helmet unless you peel it away from the head. It is glued onto the head. The helmet is one part though unlike your assumption.

NECA actually re-released The Wolf Predator (undamaged) masked and unmasked figures in stores. I guess it was to hold us over until the third Predators figure wave is released. Bought both versions and I have to say that I like them. My only gripe is that they really don't stand up well and prone to falling over easily.

I have this figure and it's one of my favorite figures. I have the lost predator coming which should look really good. The articulation is limited but at the same time it can still be positioned into some pretty cool poses so it doesn't bother me. Are we going to be doing acrobatics with the predator or something ? There's two things I don't get in Aliens and Predators.First one is why would the Predalien attack predators if its a halfbreed? Wouldn't also attack aliens? Second, is the Alien vs Predator just like Jason vs Freddy? I know I am a noob, but just curious.

the only problem with ebay is unless its in box you have no idea what to expect thats why ive bougt the mos of my collection at toys R us and im impressed with your channel and videos on predator and i agree articulation and detail is what makes these action figures so atractive or beter word use worth the time and me personally as a collecter apreciate the qualitys NECA has given these figures however as much good there is theres also bad for example the wolf predator is tilted

@uberkewl19 the predalien is a mix of a predator and alien but the character of the predalien is more of a alien and the predalien dont attack aliens (they work together). and its not like freddy vs jason

While the Neca figures are good. I still say the best Preds out there are the two Movie Maniacs 6 from Mcfarlane toys. The paint could have used some work. But the articulation, detail and accessories more then make up for the iffy paint.
