These kids are so lucky, they have band in school, they learn to play instruments and get to march in bands. I'm in Detroit and I just don't see those many schools who can afford to have bands and uniforms and a music teacher, too! I could be wrong, but this is what I see.

It's always heartwarming to see that there are still majorette lines out here, performing at a high level. I really wish there was at least 1 HBCU band with a consistent, great majorette squad.
DA WORD I'm familiar with the J-Settes. They are an elite dance line. There's a difference between dance lines (drill teams) and majorette squads who work primarily with batons.
If all these ladies can get out here and dance and march these parades the dolls needs to stop being LAZY and show up. This your home town we want to see you #dolls
Some of these girls need security guards, it seems to me.! Especially the girls in the white leotards with the big holes at their bellies and three teardrops up at the top.
