Song is made in Finland. Finland has only Defense forces. If you have to go to war in Finland it's because some country is threat to your independence. You speaking about operation of your government. What kind of threat is Afghanistan to US?

One of my favorite Sonata Arctica songs. Tony is an amazing storyteller. They have another war-themed song called "Candle Lawns" which is very touching, too.

I don't know about "babykiller" and all that, but the line "the silence of the children who sang" should hit people. Humanity is always the first casualty of war, no matter which side you are on, and if your case is just or not. Im glad you are standing tall though, the soldier is not to be blamed for the deeds of the ones who send him to war.

It breaks my heart that we humans are not able to learn that war in the end does not benefit anyone, apart from the arms dealers. Respect to all the soldiers who did their duty. But in any country after these young boys and men returned, we thought that life could go on as usual for them. There was very little compassion and understanding. Just the expectation that they will erase their experiences and fit back in their lives, as if nothing has happened. Songwriters through all the ages have written about our soldiers, but understanding it did not bring to the majority of their communities. We rather do not think of the experiences they have had. As I said, it breaks my heart.

War is war in any form, it's no theeparty, forn or dimestic they say. Good Job, no regrets is the best way to go in staying sane

I have to comment I think you take the message too personally and reflect through that. You also go to the last lyrical part of the song after most of your reaction. Its not a finger pointed at you.
One does not have to regret individual decisions or actions but if humanity in general does not regret war then we've already lost.

Also, I would love to see more reactions to JP Leppäluoto (you've seen him in Dark Sarah and a couple of other videos). He's my favourite Finnish singer.

If you did nothing in Afghanistan to regret, didn't kill anyone who you ought he wouldn't deserve it or if you can shrug off the killing of innocents as "collateral damage" - good on you.
    Not everyone is that lucky.
It's either that or war turned you into an cold killing maschine.
Based on your reaction in the first half of the video, I refuse to think so.
