I really hope her child doesn’t grow up being embarrassed by his mother. She’s very mature and sweet and I can tell she loves her family, but kids can be pretty cruel.

My mom is just like her. She is so short compared to me. People call me her older sister. I acted as bitter in front of people, but i am actually proud to have a beautiful youthful mother and that people compliment her.

@@pinkcherry6747 I'm saying this bcos I'm asian myself 😂 and i live in an asian nation.. there are European expatriates working here too, so ever since i was a teenager i observed the differences.. westerners tend to have thicker skin texture, I don't how to exactly explain this.. but westerners with their skin texture tend to get wrinkles earlier than most asian. So somehow they need extra treatment and protection for it.. as for asians, they somehow have delicate skin texture

I'm turning 24 this year but I look like I'm 16 or 17 so I kinda get how she feels. I also understand that people might be concerned of seeing a girl who looks so young doing 'adult' stuff (I would probably feel the urge to say something if i saw a little girl drinking in a bar) but there's no need to be harsh and insensitive. But I'm happy she has a great friend and a loving husband beside her.

She honestly doesn’t look like an elementary schooler, she looks at the very least a middle schooler. Elementary schoolers look WAY younger than her. It’s her high pitched voice, and height when she’s standing next to her husband that makes her look super young.
I also think an important fact is clothes. I have a anorak from an older sister which she had in primary school. It still fits me but it makes me look much younger than people already think I am. A girl 1-2 years younger than me thought I'm 10-12.

I’m 31 and still gets mistaken for a child and a teenager. I’m 4’8 and has a baby face. I can 100% understand what she is going through. It really is very hard to get through it all. People will judge you. My partner would often reassure me to just accept who I am but he does not understand that it is not that easy to get over with. Especially if people around treat you like a child anywhere you go and if you do correct them, they either get offended, or mad at you for lying when you’re not even lying.
I relate to this and it still hurts because I am an adult but still gets mistaken as a high school kid 👧 🤣🤣😔😔

I love how this show never fails to demonstrate how judgmental, disrespectful and overall lacking empathy altogether that some people in South Korea can be. The host and audience can be quite reflective Of the society as a whole. And I’ve honestly have yet to see the guest that go on the show not look completely uncomfortable.

NoMusic People everywhere are judgmental, disrespectful, and overall lack empathy. The show tries to bring humor to lighten the mood of some bad situations, it’s just how these TV shows are. Plus, if you can laugh at your own insecurities it brings self confidence. If you don’t like the show and the hosts go watch some American reality TV show.

My mom is a small lady, she's like 4'9 (149 cm) and I'm 5'4 (163 cm) and I'm on the heavier side. Whenever we go out, people always assume that I'm the mom and that she's my daughter. My mom always say 'no, she's MY baby. I have 2 more babies at home.' Their facial expressions are always comical. They never believe her when she tells them her age and her kids' ages.

As a person looking much younger, I gotta say that having a youthful face has big perks.
For example, if someone you don't like hits on you, all you gotta say is that you're underage and they leave.
Basically no one wants to talk to "teens" and that's a big perk for an adult like myself 😂
On another note, l don't really like how these people usually treat guests on this show. Whatever serious issue it is, they find something funny and it just makes you uncomfortable. I'm ok with a few jokes from time to time, but at some point they overdo it.

HAHA ehm similar thing happened me too. i was Walking with my dad and some older man was like congrating my dad for having such a ''Young and Beautiful Life partner'' .. he said that to my dad and said i was so pretty and Young and so fresh (by fresh he reffered to me being Young and dad to be alot older. ) this man thought i was one of those younger girls at their 20's marrying some older rich man at his 50's or 60's. fucking shiet. i am 19 but i ain't nobody's wife. my dad got angry too. such an uncomfortable situation.

The hospital staff should have checked the baby first, seeing as his fever was so high. I understand that a legal guardian being present is important, but they could have looked up the mother's identity later; the baby's health was more important.

Because she looks so young they probably thought she was a minor and the sister. Idk the legal age or consent laws in korea tho. In new york the parents(gaurdian, in loco parentis etc) have to give consent to treatment. Even if the baby is clearly dying the parents can say no. I hate legal issues. :(

I know how she feels quite well. I'm 32, but I seemed to have stopped aging around 18. I still look like a teenager, and people don't take me seriously. I've had coworkers assume they were older than me and were surprised to find out they were younger than me. I get asked for ID constantly. It's frustrating because you want to be taken seriously as an adult but it's hard when you look much younger. I already have a fair amount of gray hair but it hasn't made me look any older, since gray/silver hair has been trendy recently, so I just look like a teen following a trend. It's frustrating.
