suggestions for new product design:
I buy the device
I find out the actual water hardness with a test
I fill the device with salt and water, in the manual is explained how much of the ingredients in KG and Liters
I have 2 settings:
actual water hardness on a scale from 1 to 20
and the objective water hardness from 1-20
The system regenerates whenever it is nesseccary on a 24 hour time schedule.
Design products for life and not for engineers or scientist with badly written or translated and hardly understandable cryptic manuals.
Make life easy with a new product design.

Absolutely useless video. There is no mention of what units the displayed numbers refer to, or what the settings should be. A much more comprehensive instruction manual is needed to properly decide if your water softener is working correctly and to maintain it in a suitable manner.
Why isn’t Pentair answering any of these questions?

Hello, A question...the panel has a battery? A see in rear of the panel that it has three screws. Any time that energy is down, I need to program again. Than you !! Regards

Hello, Thank you for this video. I have a 760/255 and at 1:10 you are at DAY OVER RIDE. I'm at 0 now. My water feels harder every few days, then the next day it's been softened. Do I have to make a change to my DAY OVER RIDE number? If not, which aspect should I change please? Best regards, Jack

How do you know your resin amount?
It's based on the size of your system.
Example, mine is 40,000 grain so I enter 1.25 (cu ft of resin)
32,000 grain is 1.00 cu ft
You can measure your tank and look it up.
Example, my 40,000 grain is 10inches in diameter by about 44inches high. Savvvy??

This manual and all the videos are for the bin. Do you think the end users are chemists and want to study chemistry before they are able to set up this system?!

Totally unusable instruction, as in paper version what i received yesterday with this unit - choose what you want to choose - that i know..., but nobody from Pentair corporation cant explain whas is a best set for example for my parameters...? I am dissapointed and will not choose again this stuff.
Complete waste of my time. Useless information. I need to change to better water softener equipment than learning how to use this.
