Thank you for this! I just learned that a line from my paternal side came over during this time on the ship called Francis. The last name was Rose...both of my great x grandfather and grandmother and their children.

I have learned that both my 9th and 10th great grandfathers arrived in the Mass Bay Colony in 1635 on the "Elizabeth and Ann". His name was "Captain Doctor Robert Jeffreys" and he became treasurer of Newport, Rhode Island in 1639 to 1641 as well as captain of the militia and a surgeon. I am Doctor Robert Jeffrey so I guess I am a reincarnation. Merry Christmas!

Our ancestor John Hall b1611 Warwickshire came here in Winthrop's fleet in 1630. I can't find John in a list but I found that he settled in Yarmouth/Dennis, Massachusetts. Died there in 1696.

Later arrival John lathrop/Lothrop: "exiled" "the pulse of his soul" - shows the extreme governmental abuse of becoming a separatist.
