I live in Jamestown. Did you visit The Buffalo Ranch 20 miles north of here? They have lots of bison on 1000s of acres of native prairie.
Bison are one of my powerful spirit/earth animals. I have a bond with them. Great respect. The museum looks awesome. Great job in presenting all aspects of this treasured American symbol. ❤ 👍💯

The buffalo is spectacular, and their comeback miraculous. But I have always thought that the affect the millions of passenger pigeons had on the environment must have been huge

Actually ne Oklahoma is doing the same. Some tribes trying to get independence. Usually they depend on government that did them wrong long ago
There are quite a few Bison farms in Oklahoma on native prairie grass. Pawhuska has three largest native prairie grass park in the US.
Serve a great purpose; managed/domestically raised they live longer.....
