Zabit was so fun to watch and I genuinely felt he had everything to be a champ
His cardio was a huge issue. In a 5 round fight he wouldn’t make it
@@skrappamts417 although that may be true, you can't say he wasn't fun to watch!
Can't really hold it against him for his reason for stepping away though.
@@that1guy899 Oh for sure he was fun to watch there’s no doubt
He would not have beaten Volkanovski
Zabit’s one still hurts, the guy was an absolute phenom, it’s sad how quickly things can take a bad turn. Hope he recovers from his health issues and hope him a happy life.
Dr. Zabit probably doing good making good, safer doc money
@@187btokes I’m a med student as well and trust me it’s not easy money 😭😭😭
Zabit still makes me sad
Same 😭
The one that got away 🥲
Reminds me of George Floyd in a way
@@shelbyhaiketic4212 what💀
@@shelbyhaiketic4212 ☠️☠️☠️☠️☠️☠️☠️☠️☠️
I miss Zabit so much. Apparently he's retrained to become a doctor, last I heard, so that's pretty cool.
So glad to see TJ Grant get some love.
I really wonder how that fight with Benson Henderson would have gone down.
That Zabit one really hurts. Love GSP and Khabib, but you got to see them in some killer fights, with some great matchups. Zabit… featherweight… so much potential, squandered
GSP? The man doesn't have anything else to prove. He beat all of his opponents in a dominant fashion, with the possible exception of the Roidricks fight. The undisputed GOAT.
My personal goat too, his achievements, quality of opposition and influence on mma is unmatched. I could understand if somebody tell me jon jones or silva too. Khabib was a worldclass elite fighter but he doesn't get in front of those 3 for me. Any of those 4 guys are true goats tho
He was only like 33 when he basically retired with the exception of the Bisping fight . Age wise early still I guess. Though the career he had was awesome.
khabib ddnt have more to prove either, but GSP showed he still had many years left, sadly effected by diseases tho
Yeah but imagine if he kept fighting in that 4 year absence, we would have gotten more great fights against people like tyron Woodley,Stephen Thompson,Hendricks rematch,RDA,Colby Covington, potential Kamaru Usman fight.Would have cemented him as GOAT for sure if he kept fighting rather than a one of bisping fight.
@@ballchinian838 the pressure/stress and fighting the ufc for better drug testing took a toll on him. Plus he was getting into heavy fights with guys like hendricks and condit. He needed a break and a step back from the spotlight. Don't forget, gsp never liked fighting in the first place. During that hendricks fight, he was the champion for almost 7 years straight, in comparaison, usman was champion for less than 4 years
Zabit was THAT guy
I can say that most of these elite fighters at least fought long enough to set their families up for a long time, Khabib, GSP, and Cain. I get a sense that Zabit left tens of millions on the table and never did have a huge payday, but he's okay. I know TJ didn't make a dime fighting and i guess i just think he deserved a big payday because he was a huge deal at the time.
He’s a doctor now, will be on a support a family income regardless
@@ciarangrimes7912 for sure. He'll be just 👌
@@WhatDemocracy You’re thinking of TJ Dillashaw. TJ Grant never cheated.
GSP and Khabib are both wealthy millionaires plus probably have a lot of connections in high places. Cain probably made good money back in the day but his health and legal issues have probably strained his finances. As for Zabit he had the ability to become champ but probably never got the big pay off(same with TJ).
Still hurts what happend to zabit... one of the most promising and entertaining fighters there is...... gutted he no longer fights
I think you missed a recent, but deserving one - Askar Askarov.
Oof, good contender
Didn’t know Askar Askarov was retired. Do you have any idea what happened to him?
@@ibrahimkhalid4298 if im not mistaken, askar have health issue.
Probaby because you didn't..
ASK for Askarov(get it).
I love the motivation behind this video. Once again, great work. All love and respect to the fighting business
As usual... amazing content... and i love it... you are the 👑
Been watching these vids for a while, keep up the good work?
Zabit was not as much about competition or wanting to be the deemed the best. But rather , the expression and mastery of the art.
I heard this in a I.G post of his. God bless his heart.
I fricking love those videos. Keep it up TFB
Zabit was tough man. I wish him a long healthy life outside the cage, but what could have been. Not only was he amazing fighter, he was also really entertaining.
Love your videos 📼
Next video idea maybe, “fighters Dana despised”. Some of the people examples could be Mighty Mouse, Chris cyborg, and Nganou
Randy Couture, Frank Shamrock and Tito Ortiz are also obvious choices for that video. Dana hates their guts so much he's pretty much buried their careers. His beef with Frank Shamrock has prevented him getting a much deserved and long overdue HOF induction.
Zabit was such a great fighter, unfortunately we won't be able to see him in the cage again!
That beat while u talking abt Tj grant is so fire bro u got great selection
The most saddening one is Zabit, he had it all. Word class in all aspects of the game and to top if off, he had style. Nobody like him in the past and Im pretty certain that there will be nobody will like him in the future as well.
Cardio problem, that's main reason he retired
@@munisy.3022 Something to do either with his heart or lungs.
zabit chooses flashness over effectiveness.. that`s why his cardio can`t keep up with him till the end because he does alot of flashy moves that requires a lot of energy
@@sambridhathapa4313 Yeah there is was something involving his diaphragm that he had to get surgery for so it wasn’t in his control to be simply a cardio issue he refused to work on. It is good that he quit when he could because if he continued fighting he would done serious damage to himself.
@@allainangcao28 Yes I feel it was the best decision for him moving forwards. Now I heard he is becoming a doctor in Dagestan. All praise for him, man. I wish him good health and to you too.
Wish GSP was still fighting… zabeat left all too soon too… crazy the potential that was left on the table…
Also, I’d like to say I love the videos man! You’re one of 2 channels I leave the notifications on for 😂 yours and 1320. Keep it up man!!
Zabit's is the hardest to accept. Right now would be a perfect time for him to return...
best MMA channel
Both zabit and gsp had serious health issues that cut their careers short it's very sad to see
Bro! Your narration skills are past the upper echelon of superiority.
This man is the only calm MMA content creator in CZcams history
Man would've loved to see Zabit V Volk, Volk would most likely beat him tho. Zabit V Topuria would be great too.
As someone from Nova Scotia Canada, grants story really hurts. We were so close to having a champion
Huge fan of Zabit! REAL LIFE NINJA
At the time, fans couldn't help but swear at GSP. The man got the fans waiting for years only to fight once and retire. Glad that he's in a better mental state now 🤍
Yoo mom TFB uploaded
With how the Ftw landscape is looking right now (Topuria, Arnold Allen, Yair, Movsar) Zabit would've had a lot of interesting matchup
if only
Bro I was always thinking about when I was gonna see zabit again, ugh I didn't know he officially retired til this.
The Lane Mills “let’s get it on” reference
Where do you get your audios from these songs 🔥 📛 👩🚒
Zabit was really fun to watch.
Khabib basically went through the ufc like he was playing ufc 4 career mode on easy mode
henry cejudo as well
Make sure to put Kevin Holland in der too
Zabit fought like an OPd tekken character
would Khabib's 30th potential win had to have come over Olivera? I wasn't as into the UFC then, was Olivera next in line for a title shot?
Can’t believe Brendan shaub didn’t make this list
GSP!??? Are you crazy
Nick mack is there
Watching from Granada in the Caribbean. Alien island
I know dudes with super human fighting ability
Come see what's going on over here
Shane Carwin as well
Zabit was so good 💔
I can’t believe BJ Penn retired so early! He had a lot left in the tank 🤦🏽♂️
Great video. Now do a retired too late video.
If im not wrong. Khabib almost retire on 2014/2015 because of several injuries right?
That is true, and man we the fans were very close to losing out on his career.
Damn that sucks for TJ Grant and Zabit was my guy man. Usman(Khabib cousin) is the closet we’re getting.
Tom Duquesnoy!
Damn Zabit.
Zabit was on that wushu shit
Brock Lesnar was 3 times the size of Velasquez? The commission should look into that
I was like, wait. GSP only lost to Hughes right? So easy to forget that Matt Serra loss.
Anyone remember Chris Holdsworth?
Cain was always the biggest what if for me, until Zabit disappears from the scene, you solve a mystery for me the reason Zabit isn't fighting, Get well Zabit, he's a hell of fighter and person.
There will always be the question with khabib but at least we have Islam
Khabib vs Charles
Khabib vs Usman
TJ Grant vs Tony
TJ Grant vs Khabib
GSP vs Witthaker
GSP vs Romero
GSP vs Silva
Caín vs Stipe
Caín vs Ngannou (injury free Caín)
Zabit vs Volkanovski
Zabit vs Yair
Zabit vs Holloway
Zabit vs Aldo
Zabit vs Connor
A couple of more big fights from Khabib before retirement would have stamped his name as GOAT. The problem is that his record says 29-0 but how many names do you remember out of those 29?
Conor, Dustin and Justin
Most of his fights were 2 rounders which shouldn't even be considered pro fights lmao, pretty sure he fought someone with a positive record for the first time in his 15th fight.
RDA, Edson, Conor, Dustin and Justin. Potentially MJ and Al as well. Had Khabib fought and beaten Tony it would have solidified his legacy big time.
street lincoln!
Zabit walked away to become a doctor don't think it finished he walked..
U Forgot Kevin holland
Part of me still has this hope that Zabit is coming back. Idk why I can’t help it
Seems like Zabit is returning. Only way to light up the featherweight after Volk swept the floor
Khabib didn't leave early, UFC and Dana ruined it by giving his title shot to Conor i. 2016, and Khabib still has equal title defenses as BJ Penn, Khabib dominated 8 top 10 ranked lightweights, become p4p no.1, he beat multiple future champs before joining UFC.
Khabib is the most well known UFC fighter except for Conor, Khabib has 30 million instagram followers, Jon Jones has only 6 million. Khabib accomplished a lot both inside the ring and outside of the ring.
GSP is the true GOAT
This is why Khabib can never be considered the GOAT, is was on top on the Light Weigh division when it’s was primarily a division on strikers. Wish he could of stayed around for a few more years to have some matches against decent grapplers.
RDA was a decent grappler and Khabib dominated a prime version of him.
How Khabib left early? He has 29 pro fights 🤷🏼♂️ that’s quite a lot for MMA. GSP too, he did stop right on time 🤷🏼♂️not too early lol
Zabit the champ who never was 😔
The sad truth is Khabib would have became the GOAT without even an argument is wt his retirement sucks i mean he still could comeback and make it 30-0
He should've minimum 5 title defenses already if Dana and UFC didn't ruin it by giving his title shot to Conor in 2016, Khabib dominated 8 top 10 ranked lightweights, and still has equal title defenses as BJ Penn, add Khabib's no.4 ranked Barboza and no.5 ranked RDA fights as title defense and he would have 5 title defenses minimum.
@@timurjack8773 Yep I agree Mctapper stoled his Title shot in 2016 imagine if Khabib has became the champion in 2016 by the time he retired in 2020 he would had like 6 or 7 Title defenses
I just wish Khabib fought and beat prime Tony, it would have been huge for his legacy.
ZABEAST!! 🦍💪🔥🔫
Look mom it's the fighting guy telling sad stuff again
Zabit hurts, GSP I think retired at the right time. GSP had nothing more to prove and has been rattled a few too many times and seems to be showing signs of possible CTE.
Adlan Amagov had khamzat potential and just vanished :(
Adlan Amagov? Damn, thats a name I haven't heard in forever.
Khabib retired on top. That's not too early. Who else would he have fought?
literally anyone, he fought 3 strikers and retired lmfao
@@Acooky. I dont like MMA math but realistically who could have beat him? Chandler? Charles? He dominated killers in their prime like it was nothing.
@@dunaldiX everyone said the same about usman vs leon 2 lol, but only 3 defences vs 3 strikers isnt a good look no matter what way you put it
@@Acooky. so why Dana agreed to this and the most fighters and expects, coaches ,,, not casuals eventually 😂😂
@@dunaldiX welterweight top guys like colby or burns
First
Khabib’s was understandably and I had the feeling he would. Wish he would have gone 30-0 but there are more important things.
TJ was shocking and sad, really felt for the guy.
GSP was disappointing the 1st time around 2nd time was a bummer but it was around that time.
Cain was unfortunate
Zabit was definitely shocking and sucked cause that man was a future champion. But maybe in universe 231.
Zabit couldn't handle max or volk. He was never gonna be champ
zabit was next level literally coudve been the greatest 145er of all time really sad 😢
He really couldn't. Max and volk would have beaten him
@@account-pb2dfVolk 💯
Max nah
Zabits was the worst 😢
McGregor is the real GOAT he is very rich and he also wears suit everywhere
GSP left cause the whole division was roided
Probably should of saved Khabib for last… makes it so it’s harder for the fighters you talk about after him to look impressive because you can’t help but wanna compare em
How do khabibs nuts taste 🤣
Those dagastanis just want to run away before they face someone who catches them.
Khabib is highly overrated. I can name 30 ufc fighters that fought better opponents and became champions. 90% of the fighters he beat are unknown cans. He retired before he solidified himself as an all time great. His undefeated status means nothing since most were cans.
Hindu? I guess that makes sense the negative comment.
Allright go ahead name 30 ufc fighters who have a better resume than khabib.
How he overrated? He fought contender or interim champ during his reign. If you say he fight Al laquinta for title. During that time no one want to accept without proper camp against khabib. Of course khabib have to start somewhere with the record so big organisations will keep an eyes on him.
