1st January 2024, still one of the best, timeless songs ever made. Thank you Phil and Genesis.
21st January 2024, still one of the best. I've checked the fact
2nd February 2024 - still one of the best songs ✌️🍀

You're correct patrick bateman.
who is Genesis?
Love him or hate him, Phil Collins is one of the greatest artists of all time
I love you Phil!

One of the finest records I’ve ever heard
Yes.
Who hate him? I don't know any scandal or anything that could make him be hated
It's 2023... oh, how I miss the 80's Power of Optimism. This great song brings back the fantastic feeling!!! ❤
Youre absolutely right, 80s definately Forever !!!
U miss ur youth ? As I do x they say youth is wasted on the young ? Mine wasn’t x
80's forever !!!
Too true
wisdom
I remember listening to this at a school disco in about '87. I was young, carefree and with my life ahead of me. Here I am in 2023. Christ, where did time and my youth go?
I think Invisible Touch was the group's undisputed masterpiece. It's an epic meditation on intangibility. At the same time, it deepens and enriches the meaning of the preceding three albums.
Thanks Paul Allen 😉

Legit watching American Pyscho right now 😂
Best song ever!
suppers ready
Producer : Phill we need to record the clip for Invisible touch. How many hot girls do you want?
Phil: One oversized coat please!
And it so worked😂
Brilliant!
This is what a good music really is. You don't need to expose hot half naked girls in the music videos only to make a hit. Just show a bunch of guys having a lot of fun with an upbeat cheerful song.
Hahaha 😄
That was fantastic!
Phil and Genesis still legend in 2024!! Hands up for them everyone's favourite singer👏👏👏👏👏💪💪💪💪💪💪💪
I think he's saying inappropriate touching
The best time of our life, of course we didn't realize it back then.
"I think Invisible Touch was the group's undisputed masterpiece. It's an epic meditation on intangibility." - Patrick Bateman -
I would not dare to dispute that without my trusted chainsaw
I prefer "don't just stare at it, eat it" myself 🤣
I'm watching that right now lol.
Batman?
REAL MUSIC!!!!!! ♥️
I think 'invisible touch' is the bands undisputed masterpiece

Do you like Phil Collins?
A great great song, one of my personal favorites.
I discovered this sound with the American Dad series, thank you Roger.
Not the cinema show, dancing with the moonlit knight, get em out by friday...
They are horrible song
*Ironically*
It's between that and Huey Lewis.
Hearing these old Genesis songs are taking me right back to my childhood when my dad would always play their songs. We played Follow You Follow Me at his funeral a couple weeks ago. You're with mum now dad, both of you fly high, love yous ❤️
My condolences. Your old man had good taste in music and I can assure you, there are bright days ahead
All the feels my bro! Bless to your dad. My he rest in peace. And bless to you, all the best in your endeavours. Keep your head up.
there is no high or low... We are all the dust of long-dead stars, rushing in one house from the center of galaxies into unknown darkness... and our rulers are pitting us against each other and imposing religions on us
I adore this man and Genesis, he was there growing up from when I was born (86) and is still here now. He's like family 😊
I love fact Phil never cared that he wasn't cool, his music was what most important legend
I would argue that this made him cool in some way...
This is so true, Pure talent and nothing else
Sir excuse me, he IS cool .
Anybody that thinks he isn't well I am very sorry for them

This is what you call REAL MUSIC!

It's what I call turgid, overproduced chod.
Sharon Crose here go again, you can't label things that you like as real, and those who you don't as not real. That's just plain stupid.
***** reductionist crap.
It's good, certainly better than today's pop. But by definition it's all "real" music, good or bad.
Everything about this song screams 80's and I love it.
Oh yes 👍👍
Amo Genesis, amo Phil Collins!❤ Ouvindo em 29/1/2024, em Salvador -Ba/Brasil!
I'm so happy the days of ''hating Phil Collins'' are over. He's like the good hearted uncle of pop music
The South Park episode is still funny tho
How could you hate Phil his voice is like the world is in your hand ? :( He is awesome
@@lovenotwar598
There was a time in the early 00's where Phil was EVERYWHERE and it got annoying. And his solo acts were considered (what you would today call) "Boomer Music", as all parents were crazy about him.
He also supposedly bragged about his awards a lot in interviews.
Stupid reasons to hate him, but I guess oversaturation can annoy a lot of people.
Jordi Danen He's real good-hear ted. You can see it in his videos. I'm so proud of him as a musician and as a person.💘❤❤💓💓💔💔💕💖💖💗💙💛💛💝💝💞💞
JackOfen Taylor Swift is EVERYWHERE now too and no one considets her annoying. All the parents are crazy about her, which makes Swifties flog to her banner even more.... He has every reason yo be proud of his awards!!!!!!
Phil Colins:
Amazing drummer.
Able to take the piss out of himself.
Incredible voice.
All round nice bloke.
Londoner.
Does it get any better?
I have been loving him since 1988
He did some better from 1971 to 1977...
Been an admirer of most of his and their work since the mid/late 70s.
Well he could have been Mancunian😎
No offence to Phil but I would guess that it does get better 🙂
I think Invisible touch, is the group's undisputed masterpiece!
É sempre uma emoção diferente toda vez que ouço está musica.simplesmente maravilhosa!!!
0:25 = one of the best drum openings to a song ever! Phil was an incredible drummer aswell as singer and overall nice bloke. Hope he’s enjoying retirement 😊
Well I've been waiting, waiting here so long
But thinking nothing, nothing could go wrong, ooh now I know
She has a built in ability
To take everything she sees
And now it seems I'm falling, falling for her.
She seems to have an invisible touch yeah
She reaches in, and grabs right hold of your heart
She seems to have an invisible touch yeah
It takes control and slowly tears you apart.
Well I don't really know her, I only know her name
But she crawls under your skin, you're never quite the same, and now I know
She's got something you just can't trust
It's something mysterious
And now it seems I'm falling, falling for her.
She seems to have an invisible touch yeah
She reaches in, and grabs right hold of your heart
She seems to have an invisible touch yeah
It takes control and slowly tears you apart.
She don't like losing, to her it's still a game
And though she will mess up your life,
You'll want her just the same, and now I know
She has a built in ability
To take everything she sees
And now it seems I've fallen, fallen for her.
She seems to have an invisible touch yeah
She reaches in, and grabs right hold of your heart
She seems to have an invisible touch yeah
It takes control and slowly tears you apart. She seems to have an invisible touch...
But now we won't stand for it mate 💪😜

What colour is your business card, and is it better than Paul Allen's?
Phil collins looks like the funny uncle that dances on the table on birthdays #312
Thats just disrespctfull.......Ha ha ha, anny pic´s to share......ha ha
He's sort of making fun of himself here, I haven't liked any of his his music since I was 8 or 9 years old when I listened to my dad's cassette tapes but this video has changed my mind about him a little bit (I'm of the Liam Gallagher generation), I think Collins knew how ridiculously successful he was and played around with it. Only in the eighties could this shit sell
I can't disagree with that
His dancing likes mick
However he can’t dance
Not....it is not disrespecfull at all....he looks like the funny uncle...
These three have more talent than the current garbage that is sold to us, brilliant tune by a legendary group
YEP !
Absolutely.
I think PC is way under rated. He's a top drummer, singer, songwriter and performer. Simply mega talent. No gimmicks needed.
Whenever I hear this song on the radio today the volume goes right up.
I think invisible touch is the group's undisputed masterpiece
No no no no, definitely no.
EDIT: The song's OK, quite nice. But masterpiece? Heck, that's a crazy idea!

Magical music touch 80´s
This was the first Genesis song I ever listened to. I was like 10 years old and using the internet to find music was the biggest discovery of the century for me. Saw this video in the recommended tab and gave it a try. Then one thing led to the other and now I'm in college and absolutely adoring their music, especially the 70's stuff. It's weird how it all began here for me.
Same here! This is the first Genesis song I knew too, and it got me to love the band
Honestly, if somebody told me that I have to listen to the Phil Collins music only to the rest of my life, it will be just fine :D
I drove 5 of us to NEC Birmingham, a long drive in my Ford Escort Mark 3. It was my first live rock concert and when they sang Invisible Touch I suddenly felt an amazing happy, invigorating feeling throughout my whole body, an incredible feeling that I hadn’t had before . All the audience were lost in the moment. The concert was great but this was the best. We queued for 2 hours to drive out of the one exit available for thousands of cars - we didn’t care and stayed on a high all the way home = I think it’s improved a bit since then. Saw Phil Collins solo at Hammersmith a few years later, what a talent
no agenda, no wanting to be the in the limelight, just pure emotion and talent
Im a huge metalhead
but i must admit i love this!
Long Live Phil Collins and the 80's!

metal is trash, just noise

This is pure 80s pure production before digital it's a masterclass in a popular song
There’s a bit of digital in there. The vocals have digital early reflection reverb on them during the pre-chorus and chorus. Popular at the time, though.

Invisible Touch is the group’s undisputed masterpiece. It’s an epic meditation on intangibility, at the same time it deepens and enriches the meaning of the preceding three albums. It has a resonance that keeps coming back at the listener, and the music is so beautiful that it’s almost impossible to shake off because every song makes some connection about the unknown or the spaces between people.

I just love the bit at the end, when the trio just sing : "She just seems to have an invisible touch - oh, oh..." on repeat without the backing track. It might cheesey - but you know what? I like it.

This brings back memories. Back in 1987 I was in a high school music class. The teacher had a drum kit in the room for us to try out. I had a turn, and happened to have the Invisible Touch album with me. I wanted to attempt drumming along to a song by Genesis. The teacher said
"Yes."
Some of my classmates asked the teacher why?
"Phil Collins is one of the best drummers in the world,"
he explained.
Why do I mention this now? Not to be arrogant. I was the only one in my class who liked Genesis. The girls were obsessed with Bon Jovi. The boys- AC/DC. I still like Genesis now, especially the Invisible Touch album.
When there was not America's got talent and musicians were really talented.
Hello friend, how're you doing today?
I seem to resist her invisible touch -- yeah! She reaches in and can't get a hold of my heart.

I've been a big Genesis fan ever since the release of their 1980 album, Duke. Before that, I really didn't understand any of their work. Too artsy, too intellectual. It was on Duke where, uh, Phil Collins' presence became more apparent. I think Invisible Touch was the group's undisputed masterpiece. It's an epic meditation on intangibility. At the same time, it deepens and enriches the meaning of the preceding three albums.
