To add to your statement about gambling and lotteries- Most donations done by corporations aren't just to give them a talking point.
Those donations are a tax exemption because you first give the money to the company and they donate on your behalf- aka THEY donate the money.
Ever since I had that explained to me I became extremely aware at how a lot of businesses started asking for donations in the months leading up to tax season.

Blackjack is fun but also formulaic (if you want the "best" odds). If the dealer is showing a 2-6 you assume they're going to bust and you don't hit if you have a hard 12-16 (2/3 and 12/13 can be argued to do an extra hit).
If the dealer is showing a 7+ you should hit until you get 17+
Of course it is all luck and the game is still stacked against you. Never gamble something you can't afford to lose.

I made a cheesecake from scratch for the first time ever in January. I didn't know how freaking high maintenance they are holy crap 😩 I did it though! The spring form pan I have is I think an inch? smaller than the one in the recipe I was following, which I didn't notice til I was pouring it, but it turned out good! There was some cracking on top, but it was a turtle cheesecake w oreo crust, so once I drizzled the caramel and chocolate and sprinkled the pecans on top, you couldn't see them, lol. The most important thing is that is was pretty dang delicious! An absolute pain to cut and the pieces weren't really pretty (I wiped the knife every cut, but it was just so sticky 😅), but that doesn't change the taste ^^;;
There’s an interesting mod that will have the interior dungeon start to fill with water when the weather is flooding which is pretty funny 😂

tried being up for 8 days. no sugar, drugs or anything. thought i was in a movie. my gf had to drive me to the hospital. -.- i have weeks where i dont sleep for 2-4 days thats normal for me. but 8 days never ever AGAIN! i rather pass out from drinking then. and i work on a farm, and bicycle 34 km every day. still can't sleep some times. but hey that's life ^^

Honestly I can support your opinion on gambling. I do gamble on occasion but that's more because I enjoy card games. I just only bring a certain amount which I see as the price for playing and not an actual chance at making money. However I've seen people get destroyed by "Just one more hand" so I never assume people are alright to gamble.
Yep. For me personally I always go into any gambling game with as much money as I’m willing to lose and that’s it. Not for any sanctimonious reason but because for me it’s “How much am I willing to pay to have fun at this game?”

not saying i don't agree that gambling ruins lives, but blaming an ad read on someone else losing their money gambling is like saying someone who buys every game you play and using all their money(or their parents money) on games or pokemon cards because you make good content is your fault for making the content
Again, i agree with most of jeremy's points that gambling can be bad to various types of people and if he hates it i have no problem with that. to each their own. but i think he took it a bit too far on a couple of his comments and who he blames for people's gambling problems and who he calls a gambling addict which is not a term that should be thrown around lightly.

Not discounting you at all. Gambling is an addiction for many. But it seems really disingenuous borderline victim blaming when you insult people for it. Drug addicts or smokers will say the same thing. Would you insult them?
Love the stream and your content. But it doesnt seem fully welcoming and inviting when you go on these rants that alienate or push away people with genuine issues.

Jeremy was also never an alcoholic, he liked to drink but he stopped after finding out he was allergic.
There's a difference between liking to drink and being dependent on it like an alcoholic is. Jeremy was never even close to being dependent, and is even less so since he started having allergies to alcohol.
