Also the only year he didn't finish in the finals, 2021, they finished 4th or something still I think. Only a couple other players ever are that consistent. Like Pelican, Fearless, Lip and not many others. And even those guys aren't quite there of course
To be fair he had stacked teams every single year of he’s career besides 2022 but that team also had proper on it who had the best dps year of all time in 2022

I didn’t know about that one, the only thing listed for his suspensions I saw was the one match suspension in 2020 from him saying bad stuff.

don't get why people don't bring striker up in the goat debates like his 2018 was about as good as viol2ts 2020, he got his two rings, won a fmvp, had the first ever undefeated stage, was one of the best players in the 2022 finals and sure he didn't do anything in 2023 but neither did viol2t in 2018
I love striker but dude barely played in 2019, quit/was dropped for toxicity in 2021, and the whole switching from boston to shock so many times was silly. Viol2t was still elite in 2023 whereas Striker was clearly washed
Also winning 2 rings is a lot less impressive with the best tank and support duo's of all time

Going to the finals 4 times in the 5 seasons of your career is just insane. That's like Tom Brady / Patrick Mahomes-type stuff. Profit is definitely more "Hall of Fame" worthy, but Viol2t is probably the greatest.

16:40 profit been in two OWL GF and 1 Apex GF. Viol2t deffinietly did not deserve role star in 2022 if its an award for best player in your role he was never that, he was a good player and did what was required and more but there where more then 4 players that where better then him, if anything he got robbed of a role star in 2019. those last 2 GF apperances I wouldnt hold in as much a high regard, he wasnt the difference maker in getting there just a good player who wont be the issue, he didnt win and in both cases his counterpart was better, much more in 2023. For 2020 GF if he got the award it would of been valid but to say he absolutely desserved it over striker is wrong, if they dont have striker on tracer in control they probably lose some control submaps, and its absolutely crucial that they dont lose control otherwise both shanghai and seoul would of beat them each time they played, and he kept up with profit on hanzo so yh him or viol2t and if you want to give it to the actual best player then profit. Deffintely the OWL GOAT but not OW GOAT, for me Profit still beats him out but we all know that if Lip wins this year theres no question.

Saying viol2t was robbed of rolestar in 2022 is a bit of a fucking stretch. Coming from a Shock fan, his lucio was above average but not elite by any means in 2022. And he only played bap on circuit royale
Sure, I can see that. I just felt the overall improvement he made was so drastic it was impressive as hell.. but 2022 had so many good players it's hard to pick between them.

Viol2t was not the best player in 2021, that was super or choi 100%, he was getting benched consistently for twilight on FS
Viol2t played almost every single game in 2021, he was benching twilight outside of a few summer showdown games and when him and twilight would play together for double flex supp

Absolutely not! All those SFS teams were hard carried by the best tracer to ever log in - Striker. The real OWL MvP. I challenge anyone to go back and rewatch the grand finals in 2020. Striker goes CHAD mode and gaps Lip, Fleta, Profit, and carries SFS on his little tracer shoulders. Fast forward to 2022 and proper's mvp season. SFS were a bad team. Insert Striker out of retirement and they instantly switch to a top team that pushed Dallas to a game 7 in the finals. Proper got all the love and hype but it was the addition of Striker that made the team good. He is the best to ever do it.
hard carried is a streetch (2020 GF) the only reaosn striker gets away with playing tracer on control is because he has harmony orb from viol2t, dynasty didnt have a good enough zen player to give profit the orb so striker kinda got to do waht he wanted. He still deserves it over Viol2t but to say he gaps profit and lip is not true, they where all in the same tier with profit imo being the best out of the three followed by striker. 2019 wasnt carried by striker he barely played. though he does deserve big props for 2022 playoffs

@@TheESPER Yes that's what I'm saying. How do you watch so many player POVs and come to the conclusion that viol2t is special? It shows a serious lack of understanding of mechanical skill. There is 0 argument to be made for someone of viol2t's mechanical skill to put him as a "GOAT" of the game, unless you are discounting this criteria completely, or don't know what you're looking at.
