About The Dark Knight Rises:
It has been eight years since Batman vanished into the night, turning, in that instant, from hero to fugitive. Assuming the blame for the death of D.A. Harvey Dent, the Dark Knight sacrificed everything for what he and Commissioner Gordon both hoped was the greater good. For a time the lie worked, as criminal activity in Gotham City was crushed under the weight of the anti-crime Dent Act. But everything will change with the arrival of a cunning cat burglar with a mysterious agenda. Far more dangerous, however, is the emergence of Bane, a masked terrorist whose ruthless plans for Gotham drive Bruce out of his self-imposed exile. But even if he dons the cape and cowl again, Batman may be no match for Bane.

The Dark Knight Trilogy was something special. It had a truly great beginning, middle, and an epic ending.
Agree. But only Rises can truly stand on its own without the previous two.

@@ahmet_10 Yet it still stands on its own. You have cameos from Cillian Murphy and Liam Neeson. You have Bane and Talia, leaders of the League of Shadows. You don't need to watch Begins.
My favourite movie is indeed the whole trilogy. I'm sorry but I can't see them no more as three separated movies.
To us, The Dark Knight Trilogy is better than most trilogies, but still had a rocky landing towards the end.

This song is amazing. I listen to it almost every day. Every time I listen to it, I can feel the emotion in the notes and expressions. It reminds me of the end of an era of my life that I hold on to for quite a while, but in that time, I feel like I get tired of going through the same patterns and doing the same things on a day to day basis, and it makes you think of what you really want from this life, and you somehow find a way to get to where you want to be, all while preparing yourself beforehand for whatever may lie ahead for you in the future.

Don't think anyone can replicate Christian Bales' performance. He was inbuilt with the ideal Bruce Wayne character and charisma.
