Main difference compared to other tutorials is that you change hands quite early. Though you do not mention that I think that is crucial and helps a lot because you can concentrate on the carving of the board. Doing both the carving and the hand shifting at the same time during the most difficult phase of the tack was too hard for me but with your technique I managed to go through the tack way easier. Thanks for sharing!

Ich finde den Fußwechsel viel leichter wenn ich nicht so schnell. Wenn man schnell ist wirken sich die Fehler auch viel Schneller aus!
I like your technique better than what other videos teach. This is a carving tack where the foil is allowed to glide through the turn, much as the typical technique used for the toe side tack. This shows that the dynamics of foil, weight and wing need not be different between the heel side and toe nide tacks! Only the biodynamics are different.
I'd love to see you make a video in lower wind. I find this technique is easier in high wind so I'm curious if you do it a bit differently.

Cool! Bin letztens das erste Mal ins Fliegen gekommen. Ist wohl noch etwas Weg, aber Ziele muss der Mensch haben. Videoschnitt übrigens auch supertop!

I'm switching hands quite late, several times loosing the back hand grip after the switch....looks like switching early (as you do) will help power the wing ASAP!

Sollten die nicht heißen Wingsurfers, so wie Kitesurfers, oder Windsurfers. Wingfoilers hört sich an wie Alhütte 🤭
Surfing ist gleiten auf dem Wasser. Foiling ist fliegen mit einem Tragflügel im Wasser. Darum heisst es dann Kitefoil, Windfoil, Wingfoil, SUP-foil (Stand Up Paddle) und Prone-foil (manchmal auch "surffoil" genannt) beim Wellen "surfen" mit einem Foil unter dem Surfbrett.
Klingt Grundsolide, wäre ich überfragt gewesen :)
